As a longtime Central Floridian, I feel it is a crime that I didn't know about High Tide Harris. I went for the first time with my coworkers for lunch. It was actually recommended by the CEO of my workplace. I'm happy to say that it didn't disappoint because the food was delicious. They serve seafood and their menu is extensive including daily specials. This spot has character for sure from the outside to the inside the decorations stand out. The theme is all about the sea and it adds to the experience. Since we went for lunch, we ordered from their lunch menu. Some got popcorn shrimp, oysters, peel and eat shrimp and more. The things we ordered came with two sides. I ordered the fries and coleslaw but I also got a chance to try the fried okra and it was good. Oh and you get complimentary hushpuppies. That's a great way to start your visit. Service was great and prices were even better. There's indoor and outdoor seating plus a bar area. Definitely check it out. read more

It was ok. We went for the pre fix and the $1 oysters. We were a large group and the waitress did a good job. We had The $1 oysters which were great. For the pre fix we tried the lobster ( chewy) the mini scallops which were a good portion and value although I did not love the seasoning the crab cake was dry and bland but no celery so yay no allergic reaction for me The mushroom stuffed crab was good The grilled tuna was good as well luckily sauce was on the side The crab legs were cold but a good portion. The desert was disappointing and they wouldn't switch the pre fix dessert for the birthday kid which considering how many of us there were they cuda made it happen for her. Friday, 06/13/2026, at approximately 4:00 PM, we arrived and were seated promptly. The restaurant was not very busy, and most of the tables were empty. After placing our order, we waited approximately 30 minutes to receive our appetizers and soft drinks. After that, more than an hour passed without receiving our meals. During that time, no one provided an update on our order, and it appeared that we had been forgotten. I eventually had to get up from my table and ask to speak with a manager. The manager was polite and explained that due to a computer glitch, the kitchen had never received our order. She stated that the food could be prepared immediately. I thanked the manager and offered to pay for the appetizers and beverages so that we could leave and dine elsewhere. The manager declined payment for the appetizers and drinks and said she understood why we chose to go to another restaurant. While I appreciate the manager's professionalism and courtesy, we left disappointed due to the lengthy wait, the lack of communication, and the failure of our order to reach the kitchen. What little we did eat was mediocre and nothing to brag about :( read more

Haven't been to High Tide Harry's in over 10 years. So glad they were on Bite30 to get me back over. We started with seared ahi tuna and crab stuffed mushrooms. We also added a half dozen oysters Rockefeller from the regular menu. All three appetizers were delicious. I ordered a key lime pie martini and it was divine! I'm not much for sweet drinks but this one won my heart. I chose the grouper for my entree with a side salad and baked potato. Their bleu cheese dressing is excellent. The grouper was a little too salty for me but was still moist and flaky. I was so full that I took home plenty for lunch tomorrow along with my key lime pie dessert. High Tide Harry's delivers! We were in Orlando and wanted a non touristy place to eat. Hit up AI and High Tide Harry's came up. We were not disappointed. Our waitress awesome! I wish I could remember her name. She was friendly, had great recommendations and was just an overall wonderful person. We stared off with Oysters Rockefeller; delicious! Followed the orocks up with some raw oysters that came from Louisiana. They were fanatic! We are from New England and typically have smaller oysters. In all the years we've come to Orlando for some reason had never come here. It's a typical fish place, Florida diner, but I thought the variety of offerings and the quality of the food would have warranted several visits. Today for lunch we decided to go to High Tide Harry's. When we walked in it was decorated colorfully and we were greeted by the host. We were seated and our drinks were served. The waitress also brought us some hush puppies with cinnamon for an appetizer. The cinnamon butter was good and creamy. A few moments later we were served our lunch specials. My husband ordered the Blackened Maui Sandwich and I got the Clam Strip Platter. Both of our dishes came out piping hot which we were pleased with. My husband said his sandwich was good and he seemed to enjoy it. My clam strips were good too, even though I prefer them to be more on the crispy side. Overall the food was average and I don't mind paying for average food at lunch prices. It was a nice break from eating fast food for lunch. read more

High Tide Harry's is always a win. I've been coming here since the Colonial location (back in the 2000s), and the quality has never dropped. I ordered the cake crab (easily one of the top five crab cakes I've ever had), coconut shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, and a salad... every single item was outstanding. You also can't forget the hush puppies that come with the cinnamon butter (complimentary!!!) the perfect mix of sweet and savory and honestly one of my favorite things on the table. The service was great, even though it was busy, the food came out fast, our sides and hush puppies were brought out quickly, and drinks came right on time. Only downside was i was little under the weather and just overcame a bout w beef taco gone wrong. However, the grilled snapper was sizable portion and garlic mash potatoes were good. The fish could have been improved had it come w some flavor as it was a little bland. The steamed spinach wasn't steam but maybe boiled. All things equal I was a little congested and while my sense of taste and smell was present it is possible they were not at peak and altered the taste. That said, wife had a seafood boil. From it I tasted the corn which was good and a crab leg, also tasty. Not too spicy perfect for my wife while I prefer a little more heat! This was my first meal in Orlando for our girls trip and I'm so happy we came here! We were craving seafood after a long flight over so we ordered quite a bit off the menu (only took a few pictures because we were too hungry to wait). We ordered clam chowder, gumbo, a dozen oysters, a dozen clams, conch fritters, fried alligator, crab dip, and oysters rockefeller. The only thing I would skip next time is the fried alligator but the rest of them were so good! I especially loved the conch fritters. They were hot and crispy and seasoned well. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we went so we were able to get a table quickly and our waiter was super attentive and kept checking in on us. It's pretty dark inside but the decorations are pretty cool. I would definitely label this as a themed restaurant given how much decorations there are. Family took a mini staycation to Orlando and stumbled upon this seafood restaurant. Walking in, the ambiance was cute! It was nicely decorated and our little ones loved the theme. We told our waitress it was our first time and she had no problem providing us with great recommendations. For the kiddos, we got fish fingers and chicken tenders. The only thing left in the plate were French fries, pictured below. My husband got the seared tune and I enjoyed the fried whole snapper. I haven't been here in at least 10 years because I didn't enjoy it too much back then. Walking in on a Wednesday night, the atmosphere was great. What a difference this time. The front bar room was crowder with people having a good time. We were sat quickly once a booth was cleaned. The food was excellent. We both had the prix fix meal deal. The soft shell crab and tuna apps were delicious. The grouper entrees very tasty, maybe slightly overcooked but enjoyable. The Key lime pie was perfectly balanced. Our server Patrick was on the spot. I've been passing this restaurant on the way to class for quite some time. We finally went and tried it for my dads birthday. It felt like being immersed in an aquarium! I loved all the theming. They were also playing a bunch of oldies, which is totally my vibe. The food was great. I love me a crab dip. It was so warm and toasty and the chips weren't too salty. They also brought us complimentary hush puppies with cinnamon, ugh too good!! My garlic shrimp was delicious. There's many options on how to get your shrimp also, which I feel is hard to find. My husband returned from a business trip in Seattle. For those of you who haven't flown recently, even though it's a 6 hr flight, Delta no longer serves a complimentary meal with your $1159 ticket! They offer a ham and cheese for $22!! My husband refused, so I knew he'd be starving when he landed. I had looked at several places in the area, but he saw the billboard immediately for High Tide Harry's. So, off we went. We are so glad we chose this place. Literally 5 minutes from the airport! So we were seated immediately even though they were packed. Our server, Thomas was amazing. Warm, friendly, and knew EVERYTHING there is to know about the menu, like every member of the waitstaff should! We got the last 2 appetizer specials that were a jumbo stuffed crab meat mushroom. They were fantastic! My husband ordered the clam strip dinner with green beans and fries. Man the portion of clams was outstanding! The clams were tender and juicy not rubbery or dry. The green beans were top notch and full of smoky bacon. I ordered the fried lobster po'boy slaw and green beans. The sandwich was outstanding. The only thing I didn't care for was the remoulade. The sandwich didn't need the dressing anyway. It was thick and strong and only served to cover up the delicious lobster flavor. They should rethink the sauce for the po' boys. The slaw was fresh, crisp, and oh so good. I would definitely return. We took enough leftovers for both of us to have a full lunch the day after. The former Don Pablo's still looks like it inside, but everything is painted nautical now. That's funny. The service was excellent and quick. She was attentive and everything was exactly as ordered. I come here specifically for their crawfish and Maryland style blue crabs. The crawfish have a lot of flavor but they are spicy, so if you don't like spice, you may not like them. I prefer Maryland style crabs over other types like snow. Only a couple places in Orlando prepare them this way and High Tide Harry's is one. I'm not sure if the crabs come from Maryland or Louisiana but either way, it s a good option to satisfy a craving when you can't make it to the DMV The sides are just ok. Which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 for me. I wish I could give 4.5 instead because I don't necessarily go for that. I usually do takeout so no issue with the servers for me. Believe everything you read. Yes it may be considered expensive but it's quality you're paying for. Our service on Mother's Day could've been just a little bit better, but they were so busy. I love how they don't mash the crab and leave the lumps to keep the crabs delicate texture. I would guess it is made in house and they even shaped it into a heart. So cute. Another favorite is the oyster! It was my first time eating raw oysters and I'd definitely get them at High Tide Harry's again. Really tasty and so fresh. Came to High Tide Harry's with high expectations and I left highly disappointed. The seafood was extremely over cooked. From the crab legs to the lobster tail. I could not remove any of the meat from the shell because of how overcooked it was. I could not eat the lobster tail as it was very overcooked and tough. My s/o usually eats the food I don't eat but he couldn't even eat this. The mashed potatoes were ok. My server Taylor was great but also seemed busy and I really didn't want to bother her. High Tide Harry's has been on hubby's "let's try this" list for years. Hubby wanted to come here for his birthday dinner so we went. We came on a Saturday afternoon during happy hour so we ordered a few things from that menu. I got a mango house margarita which btw, was really sweet but also very strong. He got a blue moon. We shared appetizers and a seafood crab boil. Our meal also came with complementary hush puppies. The hush puppies were just okay. It's basically rolled up deep fried bread in the shape of nuggets which came with a side of whipped cinnamon butter to spread on top. I'm not a fan of hush puppies so these were not anything memorable. The crab seafood boil was quite large and could easily feed 4 people. I'm use to seeing crab boils served in a steamy piping hot bag but ours was served on a plate. I guess that's how they do it here at High Tide Harry's. Though the flavors were good, I did not taste the freshness of the seafood that everyone claims to have here. Hubby loves it here but I do not. It was just okay for me. The pick 3 appetizer (I got the frog legs, oysters and calamari) were excellent. Hot, fresh and seasoned just right. The disappointment came in the captains plate. The fish (overcooked) scallops and shrimp were bland and under seasoned. The accompanying sides were good. All this food was for 2 people! Needless to say I would return. Updating my review since it's been a few years! We went to HTH on their anniversary for dinner. All food was 30% off so heck yeah we're gonna check it out! We got there a little before 5pm hoping we might catch them at an off time. It was packed! I guess we shouldn't have been surprised but either way, the wait was quoted at 30 minutes which still wasn't bad at all considering the circumstances. We grabbed some beverages from the bar and hung out til our number was called. We waited right at 30 minutes, the woman running the host stand was awesome. She was super efficient and did a great job! Once seated our service was quick and our food came faster than we expected since it was so busy. I ended up getting the Captains Seafood Combo which came with 4 shrimp, 4 scallops, 2 whitefish filets and a crab cake + two sides. I knew it was going to be a lot of food but holy cow! The fish filets were at least 6-8 inches each and there were two of them! I think I ate half of one and took the rest home. It was a great value for the money, even if it wasn't 30% off! My fiance got the filet and added a lobster tail. He said his steak was cooked perfectly! We were impressed with service especially since it was fully packed the entire time we were there.
