Tried this place to celebrate a friend's birthday and it did not disappoint. Super cool vibe inside... coastal theme but slightly elevated. Absolutely love the reclaimed furniture pieces and the fun bar. Service was 10/10!! Our server was super attentive and also loved that the owner/manager stopped at every table to check in with patrons while dining. Now, the food... delicious and flavorful. Nice size portions and great presentation. I personally had the Cioppino and it was delightful!! My partner had the shrimp and grits and although she was hesitant when it stated "Tasso ham gravy" she took a leap of faith and ordered it and cleared the bowl in minutes. Our friends got the seafood boil (the crab and shrimp were a tad overcooked but still yummy) and the red fish sliders and they were also great. We lucked out that we arrived early enough to grab some drinks and apps from the happy hour menu, definitely take advantage of the $10 oysters!! They were shucked perfectly. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will def return.

I visited reel fish for another shot for a date night. As before, the service was great. We asked about oysters, and they only had gulfs and blue points. I was a little disappointed since those are some pretty common oysters that I could get at Publix or Whole Foods, so we passed. I did get the lightning bug drink which was really good again, but I really wish they mixed it a little better since the syrup all gets trapped at the bottom. We ordered the octopus to start and it was cooked perfectly. Then I got the redfish escabeche. The crust was kind of bland and almost hard. It was also super dark which makes me wonder if their oil might've been too hot. The fish had a kind of sad texture, definitely almost chicken-like. The pepper and onion mix was kind of overly sweet in my opinion. I just don't think the dish worked. My companion got the clam pasta which was also underseasoned. I did get a side of cheddar grips which were amazing. After two trips here, I think I've concluded that they knock it out of the park with appetizers and sides, but the mains are just sad. I'd definitely come back here to enjoy the apps, but I think it might be time to abandon the main courses.

It's been awhile since hubby and I dined at this wonderful seafood restaurant. Decided to have lunch here today. As always, the food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. This delightful restaurant is very welcoming and cozy. You will see when you check out my photos. If you haven't already dined here, you must and you will find how great this restaurant is for the seafood lovers.

We came in for lunch and had a good experience. Our waitress was very friendly. We love the seasoned oyster crackers they bring out. For my entree, I got the blue crab BLT, which consisted of a crab cake, bacon, lettuce, and a fried green tomato on a bun. I upgraded my side to the Caesar salad. The salad was excellent. It was well dressed with tons of Parmesan. The sandwich was also very nice. The crab cake was large and all the toppings worked well together. The dining room was calm and relaxing. Service was a little slow, but the experience more than made up for it.

Reel Fish in Winter Park is one of those places where you walk in for a quick happy hour and suddenly realize you've been there long enough for the staff to start debating whether they should charge you rent. We absolutely overstayed our welcome, and honestly? Not one regret. We kicked things off with the oysters, which were fresh, cold, and exactly what the ocean intended. Then came the shrimp tacos -- shrimp cooked just right, seasoned like someone actually cared, sitting inside tortillas that... well... let's just say the tortillas had personality. A bit rough. The kind of tortilla that's definitely seen some things and isn't afraid to show it. And then the margaritas. They were solid -- refreshing, tasty, and clearly designed to make you forget what time it is (which explains why we stayed way too long). But I'll be honest: the only way they could've been better is if they were made by my daughter, the former bartender, who will absolutely let you know she can make a margarita that could negotiate world peace. The atmosphere? Fun. Laid-back. One of those places where the staff seems genuinely happy you're there--even when you're still there two hours after happy hour ended. THE VERDICT: Reel Fish gets four stars from me. Not because everything was perfect, but because: 1. The food was good, 2. The vibe was fun, and 3. My daughter insists we're going back, and I value my peace. A great spot, a good time, and a reminder that "just one drink" is the greatest lie humans tell.

Such a cute, family-owned spot in Winter Park. We stopped in for lunch and had no wait, grabbing seats at the bar area right away. The daily specials are based on the fresh catch. The oysters are shucked in-house, and all the fish is fresh and prepped on site. We started with the snapper bites special--perfectly flash-fried and served with a homemade tartar sauce and chowder. For our main dishes, we tried the Caesar salad with salmon and the po' boy. Everything was delicious and made with care. The only downside was the low lighting-had to use phone flashlight to see the menu. That said, the place is super cute, the food is great, and it's definitely worth checking out.

Reel fish was a nice spot for our group of six, service was quick and friendly with good recommendations to fit the different tastes of our party. We went on a Wednesday night which was a bit more quiet, but the place was clean and food was delivered quickly. For our starters the octopus and friend green tomatoes were delicious, especially the chimichurri sauce that was on the octopus. My wife got a seafood pasta that was very flavorful, and had enough left for a leftover lunch the next day. My shrimp and grits were the highlight of the dinner for me, very creamy and the shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I got a bite of gumbo from another one of our party and that was extremely flavorful and well seasoned too. Another highlight in the Winter Park area for sure!

The food was good. In my wife's dish a couple of the mussels were not opened so she missed out and I believe the crab had been previously frozen due to the texture and taste. My yellow tail special was good. The service and astomphere was good.

Reel Fish had been on our list for a while and we were finally able to dine last night with family. We arrived just on time for our 5:30pm reservation and had to wait a bit due to a lot of people searching for a table. No problem! The interior was decorated lovely and made us feel like we were on the beach. Our waiter brought us crackers to share and they were good. For appetizers, 2 people split the 12 oysters, 1 person had the half order of oysters, and 2 people (kinda) shared the spinach dip. The oysters were delicious, as was the spinach dip. However the dip only came with 5 crackers and a large bowl of dip. It was not proportionally correct and made it hard to share. Our appetizers came fast but the food was another story. We waited quite a bit and finally 4 people had food and the 5th waited an additional 5-10 minutes with no explanation. Very odd. The meals were tasty, but we expected a bit more. For example the trout came with potatoes and vegetables. We found 2 small bites of potatoes on each of our plates. The rice in the gumbo was very overpowering. The seafood platters were small, only providing 5 mini scallops and 5 mini shrimp. The brownie was not even half the size of my hand and thin as paper. Though being packed, I think this restaurant needs some work. We enjoyed it but not sure if we will return.

First time here. We got there at 9:33p and I was a little upset about not being able to do the all you can eat, but it did end at 9:30p... rules are rules, I respect that. So for the food, we got the 1lb crab leg boil and also got the S1 special. Both were very good and filling. No complaints there. Highly recommend the Hungry Seasoning with mild spice (I just don't like a lot of hot). The service wasn't bad at all, pretty good overall. Everyone seemed pretty friendly and welcoming with information about what they had. I was given the wrong order but my correct order came out shortly after telling them it wasn't right, nice and hot too. The inside was busy with decorations and all but again, wasn't bad. Looked pretty cool inside. Overall, will be back, and on time for the all you can eat!

I know when I visit Florida everything is going to be fresh. The Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen did not disappoint! I will put this on my list to visit again as soon as I return.

The location is in a nice area with some adequate parking. When you walk in there is a very nice coastal feel. Our party of three arrived and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was at our table and did an amazing job the whole service. The portions were great and everyone enjoyed their dishes and we all were very satisfied. We had food to take home and no room for dessert. Cocktails were good too.

I went to Reel Fish for brunch with some friends and the food was fantastic! I got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was nicely bartered and fried and the waffle was nice and fluffy. One friend got the shrimp and grits and said that it was great. Another friend got the eggs Benedict and loved it. The service was fantastic! It a very nice restaurant with great food!

The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

Simple, authentic, and executed flawlessly. The chicken sandwich was equally impressive. The chicken was crispy without being greasy, topped with fresh mozzarella and tomato on soft, fresh bread. Paired with perfectly seasoned crispy fries, it made for an excellent lunch. The espresso martini was the perfect finishing touch--smooth, rich, and beautifully balanced with a creamy foam that coffee lovers will appreciate. The outdoor patio on Park Avenue creates a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for people-watching while enjoying an authentic Italian meal. Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. No complaining about that ! lol

However, we initially entered to get a picture in the photobooth for our friends birthday. There was no one at the door checking IDs. After we all piled into the photobooth, someone walked up and asked for our IDs. He wanted us to exit the booth to get them. Eventually said ok because we had already paid and on a timer. But he was very impatient. Let me add that there was not a single person in the entire place. NO ONE. Let me also add that almost our entire group is almost 40. So we're obv not underage. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. It was a weird experience especially when there was literally no one else in there. The music was good but I doubt and of us will to back based on that experience alone.

Every detail, from the decor to the lighting, creates an immersive atmosphere that leave you in awe. As someone who actively seeks out tiki bars wherever I travel just so I can experience and review them, i can say they nailed the ambiance. The cocktails were well crafted but leaned much heavier on warm baking spices than my personal preference and I tried quite a few. I tend to prefer creamier, fruit forward tiki drinks with just ahint of spice, so while they werent my favorite style, thats a matter of taste rather than quality. The person i visited with loved their drink, which reinforces my previous comments. The real surprise of the evening was the food. it was outstanding, far better than i expected from a tiki lounge. The dish was flavorful, well prepared and easily worth the visit on its own. Overall, the experience delivered exactly what a great tiki bar should, an incredible atmosphere, quality drinks, and good food. Even though the cocktails werent perfectly suited to my palate, Id recommend stopping in if youre a fan of tiki culture.
