    Mac n cheese skillet

Fun place to hang out and eat. Indoor outdoor seating with a cool vibe. Pickles on the table is an immediate win for me. We also had the Mac n cheese skillet that was excellent. My son and Jess both had burgers. Thick patty's cooked as ordered. I had buffalo chicken sandwich that was good. The homemade ice cream sandwich was the Star. Warm cookie and vanilla ice cream. YUM!!! Cool place and service was fine.

I had heard a lot about Vanbarrys and had decent expectations coming in, and overall, it was... okay. The atmosphere is definitely a strong point; its casual, lively, and a good spot if you're looking for a neighborhood hangout. The outside patio was nice, not too crowded and the nice breeze from the lake was awesome for a summer night. Service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. The food, though, didn't wow me. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't memorable. We shared a pile of appetizers, which overall was fine, just lacking that standout flavor I was hoping for. Of course the free appetizer pickles are quite good, but skip the fried pickles, they lacked the flavor and excitement of the free ones. Would I go back? Maybe, if I'm nearby and want a laid-back spot for drinks. But it's not a destination spot for me.

Excellent service, atmosphere and food. Took some friends here to try the place for the first time and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We had a large group and were accommodated with no issues at an outdoor table. Service was prompt, helpful and friendly. I was able to customize my ahi bowl by adding the seaweed salad, spicy mayo and eel sauce to match some of the flavors in the other ahi bowl. I replaced the rice with salad to fit my diet. They have a laid back beachy vibe with a firepit in the middle of the sandy area. Adirondack chairs are circled around the firepit. Very relaxing atmosphere.

We had a large group at 6:00 on a Friday and they were slammed! We were just there for dinner but they were showing the NBA Finals and the atmosphere was awesome. I had a "sweet mocktail" and the fig and pig flat bread. Both had great flavor but the flatbread was a little over cooked. Service was great and the prices are really fair for the portions.

Our server was great. It was pretty quiet. The frenchie was delicious. Bonus is the pickles they bring in a jar when you get seated!

Such a fun place! Second time dining here and I really enjoyed it. My party of 12 was celebrating someone's birthday. Our service was good and our food came out in appropriate timing. Our Pot Stickers were decent. The Fried Pickles with that Honey Dijon is really yummy. I had the Mac & Cheese Skillet as my meal. It's luxuriously creamy, but gets almost too rich as you continue to eat it. The first bites are heavenly, though. The sweet potato waffle fries are amazing! We ordered the S'mores, which was a good time. We didn't play any of the available board games, but it's a nice option for families and friends. Lots of events are offered, such as Singo and live music. The atmosphere is family-friendly and enticing for sports enthusiasts, as well. Make sure you hop on that swan boat out front for pictures. I simply can't resist.

Love sitting outside of Vanbarry's! Such a nice place to catch lunch on a nice breezy day. I've been going here for years and it never gets old. I'm a fan of their mac and cheese skillet. It's so good - definitely try it. I love their sangria option is great for a hot day. Service was very slow but they made it up to us. We understood though. A busy restaurant is a good restaurant.

I am a fan of the food and variety offered in a Tavern or Pub and have been wanting to check this place out. I like that when you arrive you were greeted right away and given a free jar of pickles. No bread for the table, it's a jar of pickles! Tasty ones too! I got the Mac Cheese appetizer and it was great gooey and tasty. I believe they used a lot of gruyere which was fine but just note that seemed to be the predominant flavor. I followed up with the French dip which was "ok" but I will say the waffle fries (sweet potatoe)were awesome. When they first arrived and in the photo they look like they might be a little over done but NO. I don't know exactly what they did but it seemed like they had a brown sugar bake on them. They were certainly delicious. I was too full to try any of the deserts but overall was a great experience

Vanbarrys is a woman owned restaurant and you can tell because it's run very well. We're never had a bad experience here. Both the food and cocktails are great. I love love love the little s'mores fire that you can order to your table, so cozy!! They also have games like cornhole and ring toss outside.

This is a place to be. They always have different gatherings outside. Tonight was a motorcycle club. Great food, service in cool atmosphere.

Vanbarry's is a great vibe. There's always good music, often live, and there's plenty of TV's if you're trying to watch a game. Our service was awesome, quick and attentive. I got a flatbread that was really tasty, but everything I've had at Vanbarry's has been good. Definitely check it out!

    Vanbarrys Bacon Jam Burger

You literally can't go wrong with Vanberry's! From the moment you sit down with a plate of pickles as a starter (yes, please!) to enjoying some live music on the patio, this place just hits. The Vanberry's Bacon Jam Burger? Woah. Absolute perfection--juicy, flavorful, and honestly, I could've easily downed a second one. Paired it with sweet potato waffle fries, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Crispy, sweet, and the perfect complement to that mouthwatering burger. Even my 3-year-old cleared his plate with the Bare Naked Burger, which is basically a miracle. That alone tells me this place is a winner for the whole family. Great vibes, fantastic food, and an outdoor setup that makes you want to stay for just one more drink. Can't wait to come back!

This was a good date night out doing something's we both enjoy, food and live music. The food was mid. The wings weren't flavorful but the presentation was nice. Hard to be disappointed with a dipping sauce. I enjoyed the caramelized onion flatbread and the Avocado & Feta salad. I used ranch instead of the sauce that it came with and it was good. I had a rum punch type drink and it was $28 with nothing to offer..that was disappointing. Rick Melvern was the voice. The show was good. I enjoyed the voice of but he was very rude to my husband and I. He ignored us but interacted with ALL the other patrons. We sang.. he ignored, we danced he ignored.. I purposefully didn't say anything, until my husband asked me if it seemed he had a problem with us. He blatantly asked all the tables by us for request and no one had one.. we yelled out "Reasons" and he acted like he couldn't understand my husband. This left a sour taste in my mouth. I literally made it a point to continue to enjoy my company and make the best of our time. If I had the option to NOT buy a table and contribute to him. But the band was well worth it. I told Naylani. For this reason I told her I wouldn't return.. but she insisted to give it another try. We will.

I've been to a lot of comedy shows and have never once stood through one until the one at Soundbar. The show was advertised at 8p. We arrived about 7:30 and were told the the doors opened at 8. The show finally started at 9p which is ridiculous as everyone was pretty much inside by 8:15p. Keep in mind, everyone is standing and waiting, so the hour delay made it worse! I don't know the reason, but most of the comedians were wandering around during that time, so they were there. Maybe the main guy was late, who knows. When the show started, it was better! Lot's of comedians and all were funny. Some of them commented and seemed empathetic to the fact we were all standing. By the end, we were sore and couldn't wait to get to the car to sit down! I'm sure the venue is perfectly find for a rave, acoustic, punk rock, death metal, country band (don't you wish one band hit all the marks?), but using this venue for comedy is a mistake. Especially when the show doesn't start on time and you're standing there for 3 hours!

They've made some great changes since Backbooth to open up the space a little bit more. The acoustics are great. The whole feel is just very friendly, like you're listening to music in your friend's garage. I recently saw William Ryan Key here (formerly of Yellowcard) and, although I've seen more Yellowcard concerts than I can remember to count, this was one of the best experiences I've had seeing him/them just because of how intimate the space was. Great vibes all around. The staff is friendly too. I'd come back to Soundbar for concerts again and again.

I love jazz, so when I found out they host a jazz jam once a month I knew I had to check it out. the venue itself is incredibly unique; a converted home transformed into an intimate concert hall. it creates an atmosphere you simply can't get at a traditional music venue. there really isn't a bad a seat in the house. no matter where you sit you feel close to the musicians and complete immersed in the performance. It is a BYOW. They have a bartender on hand along with the glassware so you can bring a favorite bottle, settle into your seat and enjoy the music. It takes the entire evening feel more like being invited to an amazing private jazz performance than going out to a typical concert. The jazz was wonderful, the atmosphere was wonderful, and even the owner of the home who still lives there was an absolute joy. there's something incredibly charming about the experience. it feels personal, welcoming, artistic, and completely different from the usual Orlando nightlife. Ive been to a lot of places around Orlando and this is easily one of the best hidden gems in the entire city. Ive brought multiple people with me to enjoy the jazz, and they all say the same thing every time. Where is this place? I'm lost in a neighborhood and can't find it... Where is the entrance to this place? If that doesn't say hidden, then I don't know what else to say. SIDE NOTE: After attending on Aug 13, 2026, we were informed that the jazz jam is now moving to the second Wednesday of every month starting @7:30pm instead of 7pm.

However, there is park parking - which is ultimately where we parked. It is in a residential neighborhood and can be a bit hard to catch if you are not paying attention to the building numbers. But we found our way nonetheless. Once parked, we walked down Timucua Arts and were immediately transported into this mini eclectic oasis. The pathway is adorned with beautiful plants and flowers decorated with little knick-knacks and garden decor. There's also a seating area with a table off to the right just before you enter. Once we entered, we were immediately greeted by the hosts, given our program, and directed into the main theatre space. We found our seats and waited for the show to start. The theatre has this awesome wooden pitched ceiling (roof) that carries the sound throughout the space very well. There is also a spiral staircase that climbs up two additional levels where additional seating can be found. After a quick wait time, the play/performance began, and we were fully engulfed in the wonders of "Into the Eye: A Sacred Storm." The performance was OUTSTANDING! Bravo to all! I am so happy we attended this performance because not only did we get to support local talent, but we also got to support a local business like Timucua! What a wonderful evening it turned out to be. I am looking forward to future shows and events here!
