I had my "new spray tan client" appointment with Lauren. We talked about reactions to a spray tan I had a few years ago and the ingredients that she uses (all natural). She evaluated my skin color and brushed a bit on my arm to see if I would have any side effects. So far so good! Lauren took the time to talk to me, and even check about certain medications I am on. My appointment was for today at 12:50 with Lauren. When I got there the door was closed with the curtain down and a sign asking not to disturb if the curtain was down so I went back to the front to wait and called to let her know I was there. When I called I got a vm and then texted her letting her know I was there and waiting at the front of the suites. She let me know she was running about 10 minutes late and I stated it was no problem. 20+ min go by and I texted her letting her know just to tell me when she was ready and I would walk back (I was still sitting at the front entrance of the suites) 45 minutes past my appointment time I finally decided to leave and go spend time with my family. Not only did I waste gas driving there I had blighted a pre paid package for 3 spray tans which I will now be returning. I was coming to get a spray tan because I am leaving on vacation tomorrow. Now I'm left without one before I leave which isn't the end of the world to me but the customer servicek is what I'm more pissed off about. Lauren is amazing. Super fast and as pain-free as waxing can be. I love the location, but it can be a bit hard to find on your first visit. She is in the Phoenix Studios, shared salon space, back by the Aquarium and the Nordstrom Rack in the Palladio. Sometimes parking can be difficult to find out front, but there is plenty of parking on the backside of the building; and you will need to use the call box after 6 pm for her to buzz you in. read more

I have been going to Lauren for years for hair cuts and color. I am always getting compliments on both. She did both both of my daughters' hair too. They have long hair and I have super short. She's very talented with both lengths. She also is a wonderful makeup artist, which is how we first met her. She did my youngest daughter's makeup and hair for her high school senior portraits. We were so impressed that we kept coming back. My daughters are now 23 and 25 years old and living in Oregon, but they always get their hair cut by Lauren when they come home to visit. read more

I've never been to a "salon suite" style salon but I thought I'd give it a try after reading such positive Yelp reviews. I went onto their website and did an online booking (which was GREAT by the way) with Lauren for an eyebrow appointment. On the day of the appointment Lauren was running a bit late so I waited about 10-15 minutes later than my set time. She got right down to business once I went in and she did a great job on my brows! I was really happy with the results and I've never tried peel-off wax before, I'm pleasantly surprised to report that it hurts less than the wax strips and threading! Lauren was really polite and worked very quickly - she really found a good shape for both my brows and I was happy with the results! I just have to take off a star** because I wasn't aware of a lot of the Groupon and Yelp policies so I bought one of the deals but I couldn't use it on the eyebrow - which means I'm out $30 until I decide I want a spray tan?? But I'm sure I'll be back and the special doesn't expire until 2017 so it's not too bad! Oh also, the eyebrow waxing was $15, which I thought was a little high but it's in a really nice area of town so I'm not super surprised. You get what you pay for, I guess! And if you check in on Yelp, you get $5 off any salon service, so that ended up making it pretty reasonable! Overall, good experience, will probably come here again! ** Update Lauren texted me about the Yelp deal after reading my review, she was super accommodating and nice and explained that the coupon was meant for ONE salon service but she was down to split it up for me into two brows and one other facial - so I'll be back to do a brow service again soon! I think the language of the Yelp deal is still a little ambiguous, it just says, $30 for $40, without really specifying, but I super appreciate her messaging me back and making sure that I was happy with my experience in the end! read more

I bought a groupon online for 3 Brazilian waxes. I cannot express how happy I was that I chose to purchase this one versus the others. Lauren was very efficient and experienced. I've been getting waxed every 5-6wks now for the past two years and all from different groupons I've purchased in multiple states. But hands down this was the best wax I've ever had. I was hesitant to try a new esthetician, especially for waxing because it took me a while to get comfortable with my previous wax person. Long story short, my previous wax person couldn't accommodate me, and I was due to give birth. I found Lauren and when I first met her, I immediately felt comfortable. Her salon has a very warm and inviting aura. It's clean and cozy as well. The whole session (2 services) lasted for less than an hour, and I never felt rushed. I waited for a couple of my usual sessions before leaving a review to make sure that my first experience was not just a fluke. It was not. Lauren is an incredible esthetician and she makes you feel comfortable and welcome at all times. Yes Annalisa is nice and sweet blah blah blah, it is very true. I came for a brazillian a week ago, and while she was quick and it wasn't painful like some of the waxes I've had in the past, she missed a huge patch of hair. I can understand missing little pieces here and there, but I'm talking a whole strip roughly two inches. I didn't want to feel around down there right in front of her but I guess I should have because I ended up looking in the mirror at home with all of my pubic hair gone EXCEPT a huge area I don't know how she missed. read more
