I am so embarrassed that I spent all of that money for this to be my experience it's very sad that she won't just return me my money. This work is NOT $400 worthy. See updated photos below. So unfortunate I have to right this review because Celina was very accommodating when I missed my appointment in LA and was able to fit me in the following day. HOWEVER as an artist and professional there is a lack of accountability for her craft that she is missing and I am in shock. I traveled all the way from the East coast to see Celina during her pop-up to get my brow "microbladed" and my results were not on "brand" or close to any of the expectations I had based on reviews and photos she post on Instagram. Please do due diligence when I comes to your face ladies and be sure to speak up if your unhappy with the shape and not spare anyone's feelings. I was not happy with shape she created and I regret not speaking up because I felt guilty complaining as she was already having a horrible experience in LA. I did however show her reference photos and expressed that I like a soft, natural and rounded brow and trusted her skills based on her Instagram work. Nothing about my brows are a natural look. In fact, it looks like I had a bad tattoo job and sadly unlike other reviews I have gotten nothing but negative feedback on my brows. I am disappointed that I spent almost $3000 to get to LA and $400 on microbladed brows that left me with a worse shape then what I started with. I am now spending another $400 to get her work removed. I am devastated and To be honest, I am so sick of this "no refund" culture of the new IG business woman. If you would not stand by your work in public, give people who work hard for their money their funds back in private. Very unhappy with my results and just want a refund ATP. Communication back and forth was amazing -- so patient while you ask dozens of questions. Her prices make it affordable for you to do something nice for yourself (I appreciate that!). Making an appointment (or needing to change it) was easy and stress-free. Once I arrived, Christine spent quality time with me, explaining each step in detail, which made me feel extremely comfortable and confident in her ability. I signed up for brows, and she had a system that meant I had very little to no pain at all. I can not imagine going anywhere else! At the end of my appointment, she took the time to explain the aftercare required, text it to me as a reference, and no upcharge for aftercare products. For years, my wife expressed unhappiness with the thinness and irregularity of her eyebrows. She would spend a lot of time every morning filling them in with an eyebrow pencil. She did a good job, but it took up too much time. When she first mentioned wanting to have her eyebrows tattooed on, I was not supportive. To me, it seemed ridiculous to have something so permanent done. What if one of the tattoos was crooked, too thin, too fat, off-center, or who knows what? Ultimately, it was her decision to make. When she finally decided to commit to visiting BrowBeat, I was blown away by the final result. I also learned that the process is called microblading, and it is not the same as traditional tattooing. Microblading does require touchups over time, as fading occurs. This is actually a good thing, since it enables the shape of the eyebrow to be slowly modified if desired as the years progress. My wife's eyebrows look so natural that it's hard to believe she had anything done. There is nothing unnatural about the final result.
