I found Rob through google+ when I was searching for home inspectors. His company popped up and I read his reviews. I was very intrigued and called him right away. He answered immediately told me he was on a job and if he could call me back soon as he was finished. Rob kept to his word called me right back and we talked for a good 30-40 minutes. We scheduled a date and he came out. He was very professional and him and my husband hit it off talking about the house and then sports. Rob gave us a detailed report which he took the time to go over everything and even gave us money off our inspection. We were so happy with him and his services you couldn't ask for a better person to come out and inspect a house. He was walking on the roof to crawling into tiny crawl spaces. He also mentioned to us that he will send us a gift card if we refer anyone his way. What a great guy!! We are so thrilled we came across your name. Rob and Higher Elevation was recommended to me by a friend to do a home inspection at a new house I'm buying in Massapequa, NY. Rob and his partner spent about 3 1/2 hours at the house also showing me little things to look at that I wouldn't have noticed in a million years. There were no major issues with the house, but Rob showed me a few little things to take care of as not to have future problems. The next day Rob gave me an extremely thorough 43 page report that detailed every aspect of the house that also include recommendations for yearly maintenance. Included in Rob's report was also basically a go-by for Home Owners, which for someone like me who is not handy or savvy with that stuff was a Home Run. Rob 100% showed that he was working for me and not the real estate agents. He's also been available for any follow questions that I had and any future ones going forward. I would highly recommend Rob and Higher Elevation as I don't think it's possible to do an inspection any better then they did. Rob and his partner also just came across as just a really nice guys. My condo in Roslyn received a superb examination from Rob and his son Chris. They came early and gave a completely THOROUGH assessment of the entire property. They guided me through each question and gave me very definite answers, providing me with instructions on what to check in my bylaws! Rob and I initially spoke a bit prematurely because the offer hadn't been accepted. However, I sought to understand timing.
