I first went to RAD to treat my endometriosis and Dr. McGuirk was just an angel that I found. After years and years being gaslighted by other doctors about my endometriosis (you are exaggerating, cant be that painful, you are fine, all woman has pain during their period) Dr. McGuirk listed to me and did a very successful surgery to remove a very advanced level of endometriosis. After the surgery, my husband and I found out my tubes were very damaged and the probably to have a baby naturally was very slim. We TTC for about year and a half with their help, using all the procedure available. RAD's entire team, from the receptionists to all the nurses, are just the best team I've ever seen. They have a true care. I always felt like a person they care, not just another patient. Thankfully, after a year and a half trying, my husband and I did IVF... and we couldn't be happier with all the care. We are so grateful and blessed to be welcoming our baby girl soon and we will definitely miss everyone there. I remember when my husband and I had to go to a OBGYN and I told him "just let you know, here they are not like RADFertility " ... as soon as we arrived the people were like normal for a doctors office and he said "I don't like this place". I told him "This is more the normal doctors office, RADFertility is above and beyond anything." Do not hesitate in looking for fertility care at RAD, you will be in excellent hands.

Dr. McGuirk prescribed two different medications that gave me suicidal thoughts (one was 48 hours of intrusive suicidal thoughts and the other was months of severe depression that led to suicidal thoughts), and neither time did she believe me that the meds were causing these side effects (even though these meds are known to cause suicidal thoughts). Since Dr. McGuirk did not listen to me, my parents were forced to put me on suicide watch because I was in a mental health crisis. The medication called Zoladex that Dr. McGuirk prescribed for months also gave me neuropathy (horrible burning pain in my hands and feet), and she wanted to keep me on this med for the rest of my life (this is one of the meds that also gave me suicidal thoughts). Finally, I told this doctor I'm going off this med, even though she kept insisting that "it was not her or her meds that were causing these issues" (a red flag with the wording she used). My suicidal thoughts went away off the meds. It's been a year now off the Zoladex and away from this doctor's care. A neurologist that performed an EMG test for my neuropathy said that these medications commonly cause neuropathy and that if I had stayed on the Zoladex, my neuropathy likely would have been permanent (it took nearly a year of being off the med, but my neuropathy is now almost gone!). Off the meds this doctor prescribed, I am a very happy, positive person and have had no issues since then. Please be careful and listen to your body.

I was in so much pain I almost went into the ER. All I got was "Oh, no.." from the doc and someone from the office will call for a follow up. I got an email someone else made an appt for me. No call to discuss it, nothing. I had to leave a mean voicemail just to try and get some answers. I have felt like my body and my fertility have meant nothing since we came back after our loss. That's fine, not everyone is in network, but the way they said it made me think that I have zero fertility coverage, not just that they specifically aren't covered (the clinic I switched to DOES accept my insurance). I should have checked with my insurance but they definitely should have been more clear. Anyway, so every time I had an appointment I checked out at the front desk and asked what we owe. My intention was to pay out of pocket as we went, every single time. Yet after my first and only failed IUI, we were told we had a surprise $700 bill. I repeatedly asked to speak with the finance team that never called me back. Also, after the failed IUI, I didn't get a SINGLE phone call or message in the portal indicating sympathy. Nothing whatsoever, just something to the effect of "let us know when you want to come in again". We pay thousands of dollars out of pocket and you can't leave one voicemail saying we're so sorry this didn't work? Nothing?! And instead just "hey you owe us another $700" I'll leave a single star because their front desk person seemed nice.

Regardless of what they tell you you will owe or what is covered by insurance, do not believe them. Get absolutely everything pre approved in writing down to individual tests and visits even when they tell you they are covered because they will fall back on a general waiver they force you to sign at the beginning. They take no responsibility in providing accurate cost estimates and will absolutely blame you for their lies. We were told that we would have no costs for a given cycle and even with insurance coverage for the procedure, they claimed that we should have known that they were not contracted by the insurance provider for the specific treatment. When we asked for the contract details, which would have been the only way to know this in advance and determine that their guidance was wrong, they refused and said it was private. So their position is that even if they tell us something wrong and provide a service they are not contracted to provide, it is on us to know the truth they refuse to disclose and because we signed a waiver, they can charge us anything they want. Do not go to this clinic. If you do, don't trust any numbers they say or quote. And get ready for the most irresponsible and unprofessional example of exploiting patients.

My husband and I tried to conceive for six years before initially seeking treatment at another provider in the area. After a year of being treated like a number in a baby factory at the big box fertility clinic, we decided to take a break. We were defeated, discouraged, and unsure whether we would continue in our attempts to have a child. The next year a good family friend who is also an out of state OBGYN suggested Dr Moragianni. We were able to schedule with her fairly quickly and our consultation left us feeling a renewed sense of hope! She actually listened to everything we had to say and explained things to us that we didn't know even after a year of treatment elsewhere. After our first round of bloodwork to get starred, Dr Moragianni identified an irregularity with my thyroid that had been grossly overlooked at the other clinic. She continued to monitor and work with us as I sorted out the thyroid issue with an endocrinologist. During this time we found that my ovaries were often not visible making it nearly impossible to determine egg count and quality. Based on the examination experience, I believe this was also the case at the previous clinic, only they blindly treated me without explaining the situation and therefore the treatment was continuously unsuccessful. Dr Moragianni on the other hand very clearly explained everything, presented us with options, and offered her best advice. She did not encourage us in any way to proceed with a path that was likely to be a dead end. One thing she offered and I was unaware of was egg donation. Ultimately, this made the most sense for our situation, and now we have a beautiful baby boy that I carried to full term. Thanks to Dr Moragianni, my underlying health issue was resolved (I had parathyroid surgery), my time and money were not wasted, and I was treated like the top priority patient at every visit! My iuis and first ivf were unsuccessful, however every person that works here has been great besides for Dr, Van Deerlin. Absolutely no bedside manners, told me I would never have a successful egg retrieval (false, I had 8 egg retrieved and 5 embryos first time go) and there was also another uncomfortable experience with him when I went through my miscarriage (I will not go into detail with this one). Since then, I am preparing for my second transfer. Let me tell you, no one is on the same page. the nurses, doctors and coordinators are all giving different information. I get things such as the process goes on, however I am the one constantly asking questions instead of being informed as changes come. in addition, the artisan ally app is horrendous along with the portal. The clinic had a good portal going and instead swapped it was an app that has 1.3 stars. I use to get calls in a timely manner when my test results would come in and now silence. I almost feel like I'm the patient, coordinator, and so on.

I have already spent hours coordinating between MLF, the pharmacy and insurance. MLF forgot to order half of my stim medications, twice - what in the world???! Once, they straight up forgot and once, it got fallen through the cracks. This is unacceptable and all they could do is say they will have a serious conversation with the nurse who made this error. I had to already correct them with when my baseline monitoring appt should've been scheduled. Definitely feel like just a number due to the lack of communication, transparency and coordination. I have so many friends who did IVF nationwide and none of their practices acted like this. The prelude app is atrocious. You can't even see the full messages in the messaging portal, which is also super frustrating. You can't even attach attachments in a message. Feels like you have to fend for yourself, educate yourself and be your own advocate. The fact that they can't provide any itemized financial estimates for an investment like IVF, is mind blowing. I hope to have a better experience as we continue with our cycle so I can come back to this review and add some positive aspects of MLF.

My husband and I came as patients feeling heartbroken and frustrated with recurrent losses and Dr. Miranian and the rest of the team listened to us and treated us with the utmost empathy and consideration. He took time to get to know us, educate us, and really understand our situation. I feel extremely confident in the care he provided us, and he was always there to listen, explain, or ideate with us - all while being both realistic and warm. While some times in our journey have been really challenging, every single interaction with the team at RMA - whether it's Dr. Miranian, or one of the other REs there that day (Danielle, Lange, Guttman, etc.), nurses Annette or Brooke, or Abby (phlebotomist) - have given us the best possible experience.
