The only reason you're getting 2 stars is because this isn't the WORST place I've lived. It is up there though, with one of the most infuriating places to be. The staff is unable to process simple requests like pet deposits. They said I owed $500 for the pet, I paid it in installments over a month. They applied it towards my rent and are now trying to get me to pay the pet deposit again, otherwise suffer the consequences of late fees and interest. The parking is a joke. Last time I talked to them about it, they said they were working on a new implementation, that was over a month ago. At the same time, I informed them of multiple vehicles that have been sitting for well over 3 months now, never moved, and they lied and told me they'd work on removing the vehicle. It's still sitting there. I am still of course having to fight over spots or park outside of my own complex on the streets where my friends have had their cars broken into... Additionally, they also have been saying that an permit spot is public now, at least when you call and complain to them. Problem is, I've heard the staff tell new people when they move in, that they'll pay the $25/month for a parking permit and that extra spot. So, which is it? Is it public? or is there a fee? Maybe be more transparent? The maintenance is at least quick, but they rarely actually fix the problem. More, cover-it-up, so it isn't a problem, for now. Not super excited for them to try and steal our deposit because of all these things they've refused to fix since living here. Lastly, I spoke with an employee recently, and they had the gull to tell me that their mess ups were not that persons responsibility. Excuse me? You called me back, from that work line, in regards to an issue with the complex, it is absolutely your responsibility. And if you don't want people upset with you, do your job correctly in the first place. Lastly, if you dislike people cursing at you, the last thing you should do is tell them not to curse any more, or be polite in your suggestion, don't make demands. You're supposed to be the professional and representing this company, not the other way around, act like it. read more

DO NOT TRUST CURRENT POSITIVE REVIEWS HERE. The office staff is trying to buy good reviews on yelp. Offering to pay $250 off next months rent or something fir the first 5 positive reviews, it is posted up at the mailboxes and you can see it for yourself. If that doesn't sum up what a terrible place it is, allow me to give more details. The cheapest quality carpet is installed here (brand new it is about 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick total) I have been informed that you cannot use a carpet cleaner because it ruins the carpet. Car break ins and/or homeless addicts shooting up in cars in the parking lot all night every night. People play loud music all hours if the day and night and the office will do nothing about it. Dog feces literally everywhere, I have even seen it on the sidewalks. Homeless and/or drug addicts pilfering through the dumpsters after midnight. The jacuzzi smells like urine all year round. There is no guest parking after 6pm unless you pay for a permit, but even then there are never open spots because they sold more passes than spaces. Residents let their dogs run loose without a leash often times let the dog out the door and just call them back and this is multiple residents. If any maintenance issue occurs, expect them to take at least a week to get to it and they never have the part on first trip. Every time they do fix something, they always leave behind at least one tool item. The apartments are very spacious, but stocked with inferior quality carpet, vinyl and appliances - with an office staff that clearly could not care less if the residents are happy or not. I think a lot of these other reviews are being incredibly harsh for small problems. First, the actual apartment complex is really nice and offers a lot of features for their tenants like a jacuzzi and gym. The staff have been nothing but nice and seem to always work on any problem as fast as they can. We've had a few issues that we needed maintenance for and it was almost always done the day of, at the very latest the next day. The only negative I can think about with the office would be that because they operate only during bank hours, it makes it really hard for me to pick up packages delivered to the office since I work at a bank, but thats only a minor problem. The apartment itself is gorgeous. Nice high ceilings, open floor plans, tons of storage. We were sold on this apartment the moment we stepped into their model. There really is no negative with the apartment itself. The walls can be kind of thin sometimes (especially since we have kids living right above us), but its not nearly as bad as these other reviews are saying and honestly, is kind of expected when you live in an apartment. The only problem I've had with noise is our neighbors who are incredibly loud outside after the noise cutoff (10pm). Highgrove has a security system that you can call about these kinds of problems and I've had nothing but great experiences with the security. They are super nice and work hard to make sure the problems you have get taken care of. Likewise, the apartment complex works towards fixing these as well which is SO nice! A lot of the staff actually live here too, so you can tell that they care about the complex and want to make it better. read more

I was very excited to be able to move to HighGrove while my husband wanted to see other apartment complex's as backup. I don't know why, but there was something about this place that I just got so attached to. Possibly because the Staff, Specially the Management have integrity, keep their promise and are constantly aiming for bettering the HighGrove community and attending to what needs immediate attention. Although the complex is not brand new, the Maintenance crew has done a great job of keeping the units in a great condition. Every request I have put in for maintenance to take a look was taken care of within the same day or at most 48hours and that is fantastic! We have not have problem with getting towed or broken into although that was the majority of the reviews focused on; the management can't always be at fault. There are rules and if you don't follow them, there are consequences not just at HighGrove, but everywhere, even at your job! I have been at peace living here, great neighbors! The only comment, keep in mind regarding the CAM fee which is not that big of a deal once you understand what it is and how much it is; but will only come across it once reviewing the lease agreement (has not been more than $20/mo). We did our research and signed the lease with confidence after open dialogue with the management. Treat people, how you like to be treated and interactions will be left with positive experience. In this month of "The Shamrock" as well as "Luck of the Irish" I have decided to take a moment and express the luck my wife and I found when we discovered The High Grove complex in south Everett. Although, perhaps good fortune or a true blessing would be better terms to describe our experiences here at High Grove. (We just recently signed our first of what will be many 12 month renewals.) We have found the office staff here at High Grove to be consistently Professional, Personable, Courteous and Attentive to our needs! They also continually find enjoyable ways to involve all of the residents in a feeling of "Community Spirit"! .... The Maintenance Staff works tirelessly to maintain the Drive and Parking area's as well as the landscaping in pristine condition, and also has handled any of our interior maintenance needs (only 2 minor issues in 13 months) with Professionalism and Competence, and the work this crew did during the snowfall in January was in my opinion, above and beyond! All of that ON TOP of spacious Apartment Homes and well designed floor plans, priced at a very competitive rate to the local market ... If the reader has not figured it out by now .... My wife and I love High Grove and indeed, we are fortunate, blessed, and I guess, even "lucky to have found our home here! read more

DO NOT LIVE HERE! The management team is completely incompetent and unorganized. A receptionist named Mariah has lost our information for parking twice now and have double booked us for a parking spot resulting in my car being towed by the other tenant who was booked the same spot. When I called to inform them of this, some attendant name Ashely informed us that they are working on it and will look into the issue. Not once did she apologize for the misunderstanding or anything. This isn't the first time they showed lack of care for their tenants. When we called to put in a work order it took them almost a month to finally follow up on us asking if we still needed it repaired. Of course we still needed the repair! No one had come in for almost a month to fix it therefore it still needed to be fixed. I had called a couple time during that month and the response I got from Mariah was that the order was put in and someone will be out shortly to fix it. They entice you with their beautiful unit and floor plans but they charge you a hefty price and show no care for you once you sign your name on that lease. read more

The apartment itself is ok BUT To live here and deal with the office stuff and maintenance is horrible . I told you guys why . 1- Stuff are so rude except Hailee . ( You guys know better how rude are you) 2- Safety : over 20 cars has been jacked ( catalytic converter ) Stolen - We ask the office and even the manger to do something but nothing is done - Put some cameras to just let us feel safe . 3- Kids Playground : It's so dirty and mold all over it . Clean it please , kids who play on it . 4-cleaning : It use to be super clean but now the office stuff focus on how to get commission from rent . I use to work for Riverstone residential and I have pretty high expectations of the apartment I live in, grounds, and office staff. I fell in love with the two bedroom the minute we walked into it, its so spacious, and very nicely renovaded, we moved from a brand new apartment, so I was pretty amazed. The layout is perfect, for us and our son, who now is crawling, he has tons of room!! I was alittle skeptical after I read the reviews, but honestly I am so happy we moved here, our unit is great, I rarely hear our neighbors, repairs are done quickly, the staff has been nice and helpful. As far as parking goes, I have never had any issues, except our neighbors like to let their friends park in our carport, but they move when we ask them too. If you use your permit and follow the lease and parking rules you will have no issues. We also have never had our cars broken in too. Anyways 5/5 for us, some of the negative reviews I do not understand, but I assume those come from people who do not follow their lease, or understand the rules! read more

I've had issues with their lack of communication in the past. With the new parking system installed, it has gotten worse. My parking spot was reassigned to another tenant but that was never communicated. The office said that they put a note on my door on the inside while they did inspections but I know they didn't because I have cameras hooked up and saw no note left. My roommate and I work until the evening and by the time we come home, parking is scarce and they only gave us 1 parking spot even though just a month ago (before the new system) we paid for 2. When I approached them about this, they weren't very kind. I asked them because parking is so scarce what am I supposed to do, park at Walmart? And she responded, "if that's what you have to do, then yes." I could not believe she said that. They don't care about their tenants or our concerns or anything except getting people to sign a lease and making money. read more

Parking was okay at first. Then they came out with this new system and it just messed everything up. My brother and I don't have a lot of people over because parking is a hot commodity here so we always hang elsewhere with our friends. But now it's virtually impossible to have anyone over including our family from out of town to visit. They think it's a good system but it's not. The point of the new parking system is to be "fair" and to prevent people from towing each other and having open communication. But what they fail to realize is people don't care about other tenants here, I still see people tow each other's car. I've approached Ashely about it but she doesn't seem to care. She gave me a "robot" scripted answer. She definitely does not have good customer service. It's people like her who make their establishment seem unprofessional. Having moved to Highgrove Apartments, it's been EVERYTHING but negative!Our family is VERY positive we found a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for our growing family.We couldn't be happier with the office staff ALWAYS answering the phone and living in a CLEAN atmosphere.We COMMEND maintenence for being at our beckoning call for LITTLE fixes and BIG too!Another POSITIVE ? Our neighbors are amazing and have lived here eight (yes,eight!)years.Plus, garbage is taken daily and is located right next to our unit! (Love!) Do we have ANY negatives? The only downside would be...oh, wait! We don't have any...yet! Lovvvvvveeee this place. This is the first apartment I have lived in, in 8 years that actually cares about its residents. Maintenance is fast, and reliant. Not only that, but all the maintenance guys rock!!! Steve Dustin and Kurt are a few of the guys that go above and beyond and take time out of their day to talk to residents, and even stops to say hi to the dogs being walked. The office staff is friendly, easy going and tries to work with you when things may be tough. They genuinely are nice staff and actually care about whats going on. Overall the price is affordable, the grounds are well kept and so are the amenities. Unlike other apartments in the area, the kids are not disrespectful, and the neighborhood is friendly. read more

We have been living here since 2016 and fairly to say that Management and Staff of HighGrove are quite awesome, very friendly, and kind. They are trying their best to satisfy the tenants (sometimes, I wonder how can they deal with few impolite tenants). We needed a place ASAP and the staff at High Grove made one available earlier than they had planned so that we would have a place to move into on very short notice. The recent upgrades to the unit are very nice and everyone that comes over is so jealous of all of our cabinet space! We were worried about not having a yard for our two little dogs but there are plenty of areas to walk them in and having potty bag stations through the complex and a dog park on site is a plus. We were very skeptical about being in such a large complex with so many units but the staff has been very helpful and any maintenance issues have always been addressed right away. read more

Chris is the absolute best! Every time he comes for maintenance requests he goes above and beyond! He is super friendly and my dogs also absolutely love him! Just saying that man deserves a pay raise for his phenomenal work ethic! Best maintenance man in Everett and I've lived in quite a few complexes around the area. I absolutely love my apartment it's gorgeous the high ceilings and space are incredibly nice. Having hard floors in the living area is also soo amazing! My boyfriend and I are happy living at High Grove apartments. we have lived here for over 2 years and the staff in the office is awesome, especially Hailee Simenson. She is always ready to help with any questions or concerns we have that may come up. That's not to say all the staff isn't great, she just really stands out. Maintenance is always quick to respond with anything we may need to have fixed or replaced. we really like the floor plan of our apartment and I love that we have hardwood floors. I spoke with Cheyenne on the phone and she was able to quickly help me find an apartment that was perfect for my needs. She assisted with all of my needs (and answered all of my detailed questions) in a timely manner. I had a great move-in experience. I use the gym often which is kept in good condition.
