This review is from a completely different perspective than the others. I'm a grandma without a lot…read moreof knowledge about cars, and I needed something that would get me up and down our very steep road in bad weather. I had purchased a jeep many years ago from another Jeep dealer in town and had a miserable experience, so we went to Rubitrux. They are PHENOMENAL! All the guys are knowledgeable and helpful, but I especially love Clinton. He sold us a Gladiator Mohave that had 4000 miles on it for a very reasonable price. Great vehicle with 35" soft rock climbing tires. I bought a second set and had them studded for winter. He found me a used set of wheels for $400! We have a very large dog that goes everywhere with me, and the rear seat wasn't the safest for him. Clinton had 2/3 of the back seat removed and replaced with a locking goose gear. It eliminates the "leg room" space in back which is dangerous for the dog in an accident. Now I have a place in the car to really secure a firearm if I need to, and it's flat - perfect for a dog bed. The original owner tinted the windows really dark. I didn't notice it until the first time I tried to make a turn in the dark - couldn't see anything out the side windows. I took it back and the first guy who looked at it thought it would have to go back to the tinting shop. But one of their mechanics gave it a try and had the tinting off in 20 minutes. I've had the truck for about 2 years and other than modifications, oil changes and inspections, I haven't had to do anything to it. When I've taken it in for routine service, they've always given me a loaner. Even when they are crazy busy, Clinton works me in around my schedule. I spend most of the time alone in the mountains, and I'm 100% confident they will take care of my truck without taking advantage of my lack of car knowledge. They know Jeeps. Great guys, great company!

Buyer beware. I have screenshots and a full screen recording showing that this dealership…read moreadvertised and sold me a new car with 8 miles on it. At no point did anyone tell us this was actually a fleet vehicle, and we were told the "good deal" was because we were using their in‑house financing -- not because the car had thousands of miles on it. When the vehicle was delivered to us in Virginia, it showed 4,600 miles, the check‑engine light was on, the ABS light was on, and the AWD system wouldn't engage. None of this was disclosed, and the paperwork clearly states 8 miles. When we contacted the dealership, the GM, Adam, was not willing to work out any kind of deal. Our only options were: 1) Take a broken vehicle that they said they would fix, or 2) Unwind the deal entirely. There was no offer to discount the vehicle, no attempt to compensate us, no willingness to upgrade us, and no effort to finance a better option. They made zero attempt to make this right despite the clear misrepresentation. Posting this so others know to double‑check everything before doing business here. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish.

Buy ANYWHERE but here! Get proof they have the title BEFOR you buy!!…read more The sales person, Derek, communicated incorrect information to the finance person and after an hour, we had to redo all the paperwork! That meant driving home in the dark, and in the snow. To make matters worse, Leadership was nonresponsive when I called and emailed several times regarding the registration of a GMC I bought there. A week after I bought the vehicle, Elevation (Derek) required me to print a form and make it and the vehicle available so a Sherrif Deputy could verify the VIN. I completed that the same day Elevation requested it! Then I had to mail it to Elevation, which I also did the next day. Derek called and texted numerous times to confirm I mailed it and kept that up for days. I explained that I have no control over USPS and since they didn't give me a FEDEX number, they would get it through snail mail. I even emailed a copy of the form to Derek immediatly after the Sherrif Deputy signed the form. They received the form in the mail in three days. It took over 70 days to receive my registration! Apparently, they sold me a vehicle with a title they didn't have. When I requested the applicable $1,000.00 NC penalty they owed me for the delay, they ceased all communications. There wasn't even an apology or an email stating that they wouldn't pay, just silence! Elevation does not deserve your business. Get proof that they own the vehicle they are about to sell you!!
