Worst experience ever. I've had numerous dental work done throughout the years like retainers and brace. one visit a year or so ago, the dentist tried saying I need braces again. Not happening. Every time I come to the office, they want to say cavity this and that when I have none of that the 4 years on having braces. I had a chipped tooth that they fixed by putting a crown on it. It came off within 7 months. Had to pay since it was over 6 months. Then the crown came off again after 5 months but claimed it was free while telling me to get a 300 dollar night guard. So now wearing night guard on top and bottom teeth for the crown to come out again after 8 months. The dentist then said a new cavity has form but it's not their fault and to repair it temporarily till removal, they'd charge me. on top of that she insulted me when I told her I didn't have money to pay for a dental implant because her reply was but you have money to drink soda. I ended up walking out from all the trauma the dentist has cause me. They don't care about the people. Only the money they can get from you. read more

Beware of the $59 new customer Exam/x-ray/cleaning. Seems to be a bait to get you in, then a potential upcharge. I know I just needed a standard cleaning, so I set an appointment. Once examined, they claimed I needed *over $500 for deep cleanings. They refused to just do the advertised $59 cleaning. I told them this seems like a way overstated need and left. I was then able to get an appointment at a dentist I had been to before. They did the same exact exam and confirmed I only needed and did a standard cleaning. You be the judge. I had the opportunity to visit the practice again yesterday and had a wonderful experience. From the front desk team, to the X-ray technicians, hygienist et al . . . to the actual dentist(s) - everyone was friendly and professional. There was literally no wait time at all. The dentist took her time to explain everything - I have two - three issues that we talked about a proactive plan to avoid a potential root canal in the future. The dentist conveyed the seriousness of potential issues without trying to strong arm me into making a decision that same day which I sincerely appreciate. The pricing is SUPER affordable and they were able to do my x-rays, exams and cleaning in the same visit - instead of making me schlep back into the office for a separate cleaning visit. When I told them I had call my insurance company to tell them I was just wanted a general cleaning and not deep cleaning. The hygienist then had to talk to the Dentist. When I showed up to the office I was advised that my appointment was cancelled. Even though prior to my arrival I received a confirmation text that morning. The staff advised that the office is switching over to a new system so that may be why I was not advised prior. HOWEVER, this was the second time that I showed up to an appointment only to be advised that my appointment had been cancelled. Also, I personally know of others who this has happened to before this system migration. Because of this I will no longer visit this office. My decision is not because of any unsatisfactory experience with the Dentist or Hygienist it is because of the administrative blunders that I have experienced on more than one occasion. This place is awful. When I initially called I was placed on hold for over 20 min , and person that answered the phone than told me that She was unable to schedule my appointment for a "cleaning" and someone would call me back. No one called me back I call the next day and schedule my appointment for a cleaning. When I show up at the office I was told that my scheduled appointment was to see the dentist only and not the dental hygienist. I get scheduled for a cleaning 2 months out. I go to my cleaning and schedule my next cleaning during that time and now that my appointment is a week away I get an email about that my appointment is canceled because they are short staffed. I can't even get a phone call? . While at the office I over heard a conversation from the next room where the dentist was discussing the fact the the wrong procedure was done on a patient. The office was not clean. I ended up getting a crown replaced I was told it would take 2hrs I was there for 4.5 hrs and they overcharged me I only noticed because I reviewed my claim form from the insurance I have a credit and nobody has attempt to return my money. I had to come back and update my review to one star for a few reasons. Overall I went here 3 times, and had issues with each one. 1. This visit I've explained in my original review. 2. I came back for a "deep clean" as they told me I had gum disease. One issue I have is that they never told me that my insurance would cover this procedure, just minus some additional steps they do. Had I known I would have asked to start with what was covered and not out of pocket. Another huge issue I have is that both my husband and I have gone to two separate dentists now and confirmed we do not have gum disease like this dentists office told us. I feel that they exaggerate to try and get money from people outside of what the dental plans cover. I was also told by them I needed a root canal and crown which another dentist also did not agree with. 3. Prior to leaving for good I had taken my 4 year old here as well. I warned them it was her visit and she was very nervous, yet they argued with me (in front of her) and made her start with xrays. They were frustrated when she wouldn't allow them to take them, and by the point we got back to a room she was crying and panicked and they never really got to examine her teeth closely. Then just over 6 months later they refused to sign paperwork for her school confirming she'd been in within the past year as it had been a little over 6 months. They said they'd only sign it within 6 months even though it's a state required form that states "within the past year". Update 1/5/17: So I just had my 6-month cleaning and I can confidently say that this dental office is *consistently* top-notch. I arrived for my 2pm appointment a few minutes late, but I checked in, paid, got cleaned again by the fabulous Bina (no fluoride and no new issues with my teeth), spoke with Dr. Yadav about my care plan, and was out the door in about an hour. AN HOUR?! Yes, y'all... an hour! That was it! This office is consistent, efficient, and the staff truly makes the effort to get to know each and every patient. You're not just another number here! Fyi, they also have an orthodontist who comes twice a week. This was good to know, as my wisdom teeth messed up my lower front teeth even after 4 years of braces as an adolescent! There are apparently different types/methods of Invisalign that can be used, even with severely crooked teeth! Gonna look into that at some point! Today, I got a taste of "digital dentistry" when I got a crown put in that was printed from the next room's 3D printer. If I could give this--review a triple (0) zero I would. I needed a 4-tooth bridge, left side. Even with the missing teeth, I could eat most anything--even a Longhorn Outlaw Ribeye on any side of my mouth with ease as in no pain and chewing my food properly. Took a minute but I was able to enjoy my food. After Dr. Molly installed my bridge and many visits to adjust the bridge just so I could close my mouth and not be in horrible discomfort and sawing on the adjoining teeth; whew, I had to give up and after lots of searching during COVID-19, I found a Dentist to attempt to adjust my bite after 2-3 visits, my mouth is much better aligned and I can close my mouth properly. He was able to help me a lot. I truly suffered a long time. This was months ago and I just finished paying for these services and can start to save money to pay for a new bridge out of my own pocket. I have been waiting on Yelp to solicit my review. So, what's the problem now, I still can't eat on that side of my mouth without pain and the bite is not perfect but I can sleep and go through my day not in tears. I am so appreciative to this Dr for helping me. I am stuck with this bridge because insurance won't pay for another one till this one ages at least five years and only paid all but over $2500 my out of pocket cost. Not including root canal, full x-rays and cost for .15 min cleaning. I truly question the qualifications and experience of Dr Molly. But she has a million dollar smile herself but she didn't do the work right! I have almost choked several times from the inability to chew properly. Until I can afford to pay out of pocket to get it replaced, I now am limited as to what I can eat. This is my bottom left and I need same 4-tooth bridge in my right upper. Is there any Dr reading this out there willing to do some charity work to help me...I can contribute. I have never put this much into a review but people should know and be warned. Definately would not recommend. Had dental work here and paid for a crown almost 3 years ago. One, I didnt find out until later that I could've just went to another dentist and paid basically just a small copay for what I paid close to $2000 here. I had MetLife dental through the federal government and was told they didnt cover the material for fillings. When they actually did, just not the particular kind they used at that office. I sucked that up. But the main issue is pre paying for a crown that I never recieved. I travel for work and played a cat and mouse game with them for almost 3 years about this. I ended up moving out of the state and have called them numerous times. The first time I called I was told was told I couldn't get a refund because they had already made the crown. I explained my situation and the end result was me trying to schedule a time that they had available that would go with my work schedule. I was out of the country for over a year and just could not get there. When my assignment ended I tried again, then just asked if they could send the crown to me and I could have my new dentist put it on when I got back home. I waited months again, calling leaving messages and no one would respond. Finally spoke to someone and was told that they couldn't mail it to me without the dentist sending a statement that they would perform the root canal and place the crown. So now that I have a dentist in the state I live in (California) and requested that they mail the crown directly to the dentist office I am told they they no longer have it because after 3 months they dont have them anymore. How is this possible when I've spoken to people off and on the last few years about this??? Now they have my information in the system, shows payment and what I had done, etc. But now they say the do not even have the crown nor can they issue a refund because they dont have the I information on the payment because the staff that used to work there all got replaced in 2018! I was given an a printout of the cost to have this procedure done, which was over $10,000. I paid the charge of having it recemented. However, less than 24 hours later the "bridge" fell out again. So I called the office and ask if the dentist could recement it because less than a day had past since my visit. I was told there would be a charge again for the service. I was surprised because the recementing that was done did not last anytime, therefore, I expected recementing it would have been a courtesy under the circumstances since the time frame was very minimal. I am very disappointed with my first visit. The latina or white receptionist in the front desk is very rude. No eye contact & no greeting. She talks to you while looking at her computer. My first time to visit this office and my first impression was awful. She needs retraining or the manager should address this unacceptable behavior with her. If you decide to visit this office, I guarantee you will experience first hand this situation. I tried to ask her a question and she just told me to take a seat (no eye contact & typing while briefly responding). I addressed this situation to the manager and I really hope he addresses directly this attitude with her. She feels very comfortable with this behavior and she probably knows no one is going to call her attention about negative behavior. My husband experienced this behavior with her last month and her attitude reflects that you are not important or worth looking at you. I really think someone needs to train her well with customer service. I guarantee you she can learn and the matter needs to be addressed. Don't go to this clinic. They'll get you trap into a $1,200 - $2,300 deep cleaning amount, if they can't find any cavity issues with your teeth. If you don't give them immediate "yes" answer, they want you to sign a waiver. I have a full set of natural teeth that I wanted to get general / regular cleaning. Due to dental insurance network, I went to this clinic 2 days ago and the dentist that attended to me knew I wanted to get a general cleaning, she said she will get someone to do that for me and there came a guy bringing quotation for deep cleaning ranging from approx $1,200 - $2,300. I politely told the guy, I will need to discuss this with my dental insurance so I know how much they can cover and how much is my out-of-pocket. I said, can I get a general cleaning today since this is the reason why I took time-off from work and get some cleaning done. He said, no you can't get it, it will not do you good, you need to have this deep cleaning. I politely said I need to review it my insurance and get back to you. He said, you need to sign the waiver if you don't want to take this now. This is a far cry from Austell Dental Associates. Last year, I went there without dental insurance and offered to do self-pay for their services. I told them I want to see a female dentist and I want some dental work done. They took my request without hesitation. They did not lock me in a waiver or treatment contract. Dr. Tang and Jessica were amazing. I have anxiety going to the dentist. Austell Smiles took me in as an emergency appointment as my temporary crown shattered and left me without a tooth in the front of my mouth. I arrived before my appointment time and during my wait I engaged in conversation with several of the staff members and I was so please at the positive energy they displayed. They were very professional but also personable. By the time I went to back for my appointment I was at ease with the procedure that would take place and didn't even need the gas to get through it. It was a HORRIBLE experience!! To be honest, I was so hopeful and happy about my visit to the dentist. I have not seen a dentist in 5+ years. The reason is I have not had the money to afford a dentist let alone the insurance. I am a single working mother. My daughter needed braces, so I have been paying out of pocket for the last 4 years for my daughters braces. I just finished paying for them within the last month. It has been tough but well worth it for my daughter to have a beautiful smile. I am finally able to afford dental insurance for myself. So this appointment was hope for me. My 15 year old daughter needed her wisdom teeth removed. She was a little fearful and scared, But Dr. Rools Dessieux, DDS, He has the best bed-side manner I have ever seen or heard! She was in hysterics at a level 10 and he has the uncanny ability to calm my daughter down to a level 2 in 15 to 20 minutes! His calming, soothing and relaxing voice and tone had the ability to calm her down! Wow what an awesome office. Now if your looking to be listened to and get your dental needs taken care of this is the office for you. Just over 1 year I started having had pain in one of my front teeth. I have been to 4 appointments and 2 dentists to try and narrow down why I'm having so much pain. 10 minutes at this office and Dr. Yadav found the problem. She offered it fix it then and there. No more waiting in pain. I was worried about how a crown would look on my front tooth but it's a perfect match no one will ever know. And even better she made my crown THAT DAY with the cerec, now awkward impressions or temporary crown. I even got a 5 year warranty on the crown for free. I am a little tight on cash having moved to the area last week. But mark came in let me know what my payments options were. He helped me get on the smile generation financing for 12month INTEREST FREE!!! This made everything so easy on me and my wallet. I have found my forever Dentists! Was looking for a new dentist and came across this office. So happy that I decided to take a chance. The office is extremely spotless, bright and modern. The entire staff from front desk reception, to assistant to doctor were amazingly friendly and professional. My cleaning and polishing went great, and unfortunately I discovered that I had a few cavities. As you know, going to the dentist is rarely a fun thing to do. Most of us wait until something is really wrong before going to see a dentist. As was the case for me. I visited the office the first week they opened in mid February. Its located right next to the new LA Fitness and the office is super nice and state of the art. Everything is digital and you sign in on iPads. They even have a professional grade Keurig machine that makes great coffee or teas while you wait. One of the things I really liked was that the Dr came out to take me to her office to talk about my dental needs, before I got started. Most of the time, at other offices, the first time you meet your dentist is when your laying back in the chair with your mouth wide open. On that day, I needed a crown really bad for a lower tooth. Dr. Yadav used this special machine to map the tooth that was prepped for the crown and you can watch the machine, in the hallway behind a large glass sliding door, make the crown. It only took about 2 and a half hours for everything. Needless to say I got another crown the following week and am scheduled to have another done in a week or so. They really stress getting your teeth and gums healthy and not just pushing services you don't need on you. I knew I needed three crowns from my previous dentist, so I knew Dr. Yadav was right on the money. Trust me you will love it here. Update 5/20/2015. Haven't gotten my last crown done just yet. Scheduling on my part. But I have taken 3 of the 4 of my kids here to get seen here. They love it too. I think the other side for kids will be opening later in the summer. I went to this office for some dental work. They tried to get me to sign off on about $4,000 worth of unnecessary work. They ended up charging me high fees for services that could have been done there but were done elsewhere. Who does that?! Never again. read more

At this point I am very upset with management . This is the second time I've been misinformed on my payments. I was charged twice in July for a total of $300 when I'm on a payment plan for only 3 months . I called and tried to get a refund and I was told it will be 14 business days . So I just told the office it's ok let's just skip the month of August and make last payment in September. I personally called the office to make sure a payment will not come out and they informed me a scheduled payment is for September 20th. I called the office Monday August 19th for this information ! Now today on a Saturday which I was told and never had a payment come out on a weekend which is today . August 24th! I am now in the hole for $142 ! When the payment was not suppose to come out until the month of September ! I am livid because I'm being told one thing and something happens that put my life and things I have planned at a holt. This is a huge inconvenience and I no longer want to participate through this dental office. I will call first thing Monday, August 26th, to be assured that THERE WILL NOT BE A PAYMENT IN THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER CONSIDERING THAT MY BALANCE IS COMPLETELY PAID IN FULL !! I enjoy this dental office and I've been coming here almost two years . But the whole management team is different and know one is on the same page . I'm upset. read more
