Recently sold to new owners and quality is now terrible. Trying to squeeze everything out of this once great stop. Quality is poor.

Used to be one of my favorite spots- family owned, local, unbelievable food and service. Since being bought out the service and food is worse than bad. Placed an order for pick up- the person answering the phone hung up before I was done placing the order. When I went to pick it up I waited an extra half hour for food that wasn't what I even ordered. No dressing on my ceasar wrap... actually wasn't even a ceasar- iceberg, cukes and chicken only. 2 large buff tender subs ended up being 2 boxes of chicken tenders with 4 pieces each and no blue cheese. This was the 3rd attempt for take out since the takeover and my last. I will never buy anything from there again. Don't waste your time or money read more

Well this is not the old Barrowsville! I wish they changed the name so no one has high hopes as it used to be a 10! This place barely deserves a 1 star but that's as low as we can go! Food is nonexistent, terrible microwaved sandwiches that are overpriced and will most likely turn your stomach! Customer service is horrible, highly recommended going elsewhere! This was our first time trying their pizza. We really enjoyed the pizzas (cheese, pepperoni, BBQ chicken, and buffalo chicken), and the appetizers as well (mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers). Everything tasted fresh, and we would definitely be interested in trying other items from the menu in the future. There was lots of convenient parking and it's easy to find with the gps. The employees were very friendly and the store was filled with a variety of convenience items and alcohol. Definitely worth checking out! read more

Really great experience hidden Jewel in Norton. Went down to pick up an item further pass the barrowsville station. Saw it was open so stopped on our way back will going into play the lottery when I realized they had a full Deli in there with sandwiches Pizza Etc. We decide to order some lunch and have it sitting down outside at one of the tables. We ordered a garlic bread with cheese which was very reasonable $3.50 and we also wanted a slice of pepperoni pizza not realizing how big it was at $2.25 thought it was just a small slice that we could share to try as you can see from the pictures both of the orders with very large much bigger than we had anticipated. Everything was fresh and cooked to order they said it was a 10 minute wait which was not a problem we grabbed a soda from the cooler played the Lottery checked out some of the the liquor items they had for sale they have a full liquor store as well as a beer and wine do you have any snacks chips excetera available if you want something besides your sandwiches pizza or appetizers they have an extensive menu with everything that you could ever ask for. You can either order and come in and pick it up or you can come in order it and then take it outside to the tables which are well apart from each other to eat as I said before we chose to order in and then eat outside to picnic tables it was a really nice day. Way more food than we thought everything was excellent hot fresh we had enough garlic bread for dinner the next day when we made spaghetti we will definitely be going there again hopefully some night I can ride there on the motorcycle with some friends and be able to eat outside. Everyone was wonderful and friendly and courteous nothing was too much for them just all-around great experience everyone should go if they had able to. read more

Horrible. Didn't know it was under new ownership until we went to pick up our order. When we got there, we were told they don't make the large pizzas anymore(would have been nice to have known in the phone). So we ordered and additional pizza there. We then watch the women take frozen dough out of the freezer and stick it in the microwave!! She then preceded to make pizza with it! Needless to say it was horrible! Pizza was nothing like the old pizza. We will not be going back!! Absolutely gross..... go somewhere else! read more

Used to be a great local spot. The new owners from New York have completely ruined it. They are raising prices monthly. The same case of beer I used to get was 18$ then 20-24- now 26. The highest price I've seen in the state. They don't run ac on cold days so the huge selection of cheap wine they have is turning I won't even buy it after a bad experience a month ago. And the new owner is rude and thinks it's ok to take advantage of the people the area because he's the only game in town. What a shameful way to run a once great local shop. As for the food once I saw the owner with no mask or gloves putting an order together about two months ago I tossed there menu. read more

This place used to be the best! Everything was fresh, the honey mustard was the BEST! Even though we used to have to wait an hour+ for food even for pickup, it was worth it - But unfortunately that all changed. We ordered recently and it was flavorless and nothing was as it was. We are so lucky to have this diamond in the rough. Not only is the food great. the service is wonderful. I work at a local health center, myself and coworkers have been going in for lunch. "Thanks for being open." They all are so welcoming even though we walk in in scrubs. They thank us and tell us to be safe. They always put a little extra in for us too. More like 3.5 stars because of their great take-out and delivery food like subs and pizza. I had a calzone and it was ENORMOUS. I mean like gigantic and it scared the shit out of me. Not to mention I only ordered the small. I would honestly hate to see what the large looks like. Barrowsville itself is a standard liquor store that also has some select groceries. The perfect place to stop on the way home for a beer run and a pizza. I wish this place was around when I was in high school I would've been over 200 lbs. read more

We ordered delivery the other night....buffalo chicken mac and cheese, meat lover pizza, greek pizza, and caesar salad. The total price of order was very reasonable and the amount of food we got was more than enough (portions are large)-the food was sub par. We were disappointed that the pizza was nothing like the picture in the take out menu. It was so full of ingredients you couldn't pick up the pizza, the greek pizza had very little feta and tons of mozzarella-just disappointed and would not order here again. went into the store today (veterans day) and asked if there were any specials for veterans. One of the cooks said no but it should be double the price. Went into the store again later that afternoon and asked the owner (AL) if ther were any specials for veterans today and he replied "everything is special". Went to the register to chek out and asked the cashier if she had anyone in her family who served int the military she replied yes but here i am working. I find it offensive that there are so many other prosperous business's that recognise veterans and appreciate thier service one day out of the year and yet Barrowsville Station fails to realize that the only reason they are in business is because of the freedom this country has due to the military forces and the sacrifices of enlisted men and women to protect that freedom. Would it hurt to offer a cup of soup in appreciation? Many people in this community are veterans and that is why I am posting this. I will no longer spend my money at a establishment that does not recognise the importance of this countries military personel. And yes I am a veteran 293rd ENGR BTTN Baumholder Germany. read more
