Place is OK fresh braided rolls are a plus ! I got the chicken parm and it was pretty good! On the smaller side though and don't like that they microwave the subs ! This place really lives up to its name! Very friendly staff, immaculately clean and spotless, and they make a delicious sandwich. My wife and I stopped by and split their standard roast beef sandwich. It was served on a slightly buttery (brioche?) seeded bun. The bread was soft and the crust had just a bit of crunch to it. A generous serving of meat, some lettuce and a slice of tomato, and a good smear of pepper relish gave the sandwich a nice balance of textures and flavors and just a bit of bite from the peppers. This place does indeed live up to its name. I thought the name was ridiculous, right up until I tried the food. The sesame-seeded rolls are soft and chewy. The ingredients are Boars Head and are quality. The sandwiches on their menu are delicious. My husband likes all the soups he's tried. They have a good selection of chips and drinks as well! I cannot say anything negative about their food. It's excellent. Definitely top-notch. I have two small complaints. First, the set up of the place is odd. Seems like the counters are in weird spots. This leads to the second oddity - the ordering process. Without detailing the whole layout, I'll just say that one has to walk past/through a group people waiting for their sandwiches to order your own, and then also work your way out of the mob and over to the other counter (to pay) after your sandwich is ready. The place lacks a clear flow from ordering, to waiting, to paying. We could all benefit from someone reconfiguring the layout to make it more clear and efficient. And yet, the food is tops! The place is located in a plaza down the street from the Comcast Center and the shop itself is quite spacious. Great selection of the "Best" sandwiches! The Best Sandwich Shop is a dining establishment that truly lives up to its very confident and borderline conceited name. They are the home to my FAVORITE sandwich of all time (the caprese) which has some hidden pleasures that other caprese sandwiches don't have - red onions and roasted red pepper. Their bread appears to be superbly fresh baked and has a soft texture that acts as a perfect transportation device for the ingredients of your sandwich. Their other sandwiches are also extremely appealing although I haven't tried them. They are perfect to go splitsies with a friend with. My friend had a chicken breast cutlet on her sandwich and I was eyeing the perfectly crispy looking breading, so I would suggest getting something with a chicken cutlet on it. The staff is super friendly and will help you decide on a sandwich. The cashier knew the prices off the top of her head and that was impressive. These people love what they do and make you feel like family!!! They ALSO have about 47 varieties of chips and a plethora of drinks stocked in the fridge as complements to your sandwich so that's a plus in my book. My car brought me here thanks to YELP...actually, my car brought me to Wheaton College and I in turn turned to YELP to help me with lunch and was happily delighted. Located in a little strip mall, the place looked closed due to the tinted windows but I listened to YELP and voila...OPEN. Walked in and place looked impeccably clean and the aromas were captivating! Opted for the Little Finger Sandwich (chick cutlet doused withe honey mustard sauce and melted provolone and added bacon) and the Philosopher Sandwich (breaded chick cutlet, drizzled with greek dressing, topped with feta cheese and dressed with L&T, red onion and black olives). The sandwich maker diligently prepared these. I reminded him about the bacon on the little finger and he then told me he accidentally put in on my Philosopher sandwich and in lieu of just removing it, he remade a new sandwich since the bacon was all mixed up with the cheese. He remade it with a smile too! I went to pay for both generously stuffed sandwiches and the total was $17.00--he then asked me if I wanted to take the mistake sandwich since it was going to go to waste. Really??? Ok, so I have proven that the people at the establishment are nice but this is YELP and what we are reviewing is food and guess what...these boys got it going on!!!!! The sandwiches were great--not what I expected to ever find in this small town of Norton. The braided bread was very soft and flavorful and had some great crust and held up to both dressings--sawbuck did not get soggy. The chicken cutlets were moist, tender and so good--my teeth didn't wrestle these cutlets as that can happen in many breaded cutlet sandwiches. The portions were BIG! We personally could not finish these in one sitting. If Wheaton College becomes home to or son, I hope to make this place a "pied-à-terre" and then up its rating to a 5 based on a second or third visit. But my first time here didn't disappoint.
