I stopped in for a #6 regular . I ordered Mikes way and asked to put bacon on it. Never told there is up charge for bacon until sandwich made and cashing out. I saw she added 1.45 for no flavor piece of bacon. Then screen asks me if I wanted to add atop and with options.... Asking for tips for a take out sandwich getting a little too much... 11.80 for a regular which is a small everywhere else... nothing on signage mentions any up charges for bacon. I heard someone ask if bacon was free to add... the guy said it is a dollar up charge. Vs 1.45 I was raped. Been to many Jersey Mikes and signage and menu should detail up charges... misleading to consumer. Another guy came in to pick up his on line order and was barked at unnecessarily about why tag not on bag and order not done... Managers cards all over counter every where... employees need a little more training. read more

Once, just once, I'm begging you, please, can you do an order correctly?? This is the only shop that cannot get a simple order correct, after at least eight tries. If you let me customize a sub, and I say no onions, then don't put onions on the sub. if I say no Mike's way, don't glob it with oil and vinegar. If I order chips with my sandwich, put the chips in the bag. If you tell me the sub will be ready in 25 to 30 minutes, don't make me wait another 15 minutes and kill my lunch hour standing around. It's not just one type of sub or time of day either. Regardless of what I seem to order, or when, they just can't get it right. I think I've really given up on this Jersey Mike's. Too bad, because I love their food as a whole but this location tarnishes the franchise. read more

I visited today, 3/1/2024, and the folks that were working at about 2-2:30 were the best. There was a mistake with my order that was entirely my fault, and they corrected the order instantly, without hesitation, or even any judgement. Just a smile. The sandwiches were delicious and fresh. If I could give it a minus zero, I would!! This sub shop is very dirty and disgusting! We stopped to eat on the way to a concert. There we're lots of workers milling around behind the counter so I don't know why none of them were able to clean! NOTHING in that store was clean! Every table was unclean and gross, ALL across the counter tops where the cash resister was and beyond were disgustingly dirty with crumbs, debris, and food stains. All of the containers inside the case where the lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, bacon etc. we're open/uncovered and the food was outside of the containers all over the counter. I even saw flies in it! I saw meat (specifically the turkey and that's what I was going to order) inside the glass meat case that was left out in the open and it looked 'gray' colored. I walked out. I pre ordered: a hot buffalo chicken sub with bacon on wheat bread and chipotle mayo instead of blue cheese for a 12:00 pick up. When I walk in the store at 12:03, I received: a cold buffalo chicken sub with cold bacon on white bread. no chipotle mayo. no blue cheese. This was colder and drier than your great great great great great great great grandmothers coochie. I would rather eat that for breakfast lunch and dinner than to ever get played by Mike again. Out of five times ordering online and picking up in store only once have the got the order right!! Pitiful for such a great franchise. Stopped by for a late lunch with grandsons. 8 year old ordered a buffalo chicken and says no lettuce and no tomato please. The girl at the slicer says to tell them at next station no veggies. We then order other sandwiches. 2 cold 2 hot. we get our drinks, chips and cookies. We then sit down. Hot sandwiches come in bags. I then say Oh I wanted vegetables on mine. I was then told by a very annoyed girl I should have said that when I ordered. I then say we tried to and were told to wait until next station. Nothing like being reprimanded in front of my family and the other customers in line! I even tipped the wait staff for a 18 year old to scold me. Delicious!!! Tried this out cause it's new in my area and was very pleased. The subs are a bit higher priced than other places in town, but very worth it. My hubby and I have had about 6 different subs here so far and we have no complaints. You get tons of meat and everything is super fresh. Great cookies too and the staff is friendly. read more

Worst Jersey Mikes ever. Employees are NOT friendly. We stood there waiting to order while the employee cleaned off the salt and pepper shakers. Then he made out sandwiches wrong. He also put the sandwich bread directly on the counter which he had not wiped downs. So gross. I would NOT go back. Management needs to get involved at this point. Ordered from the Mansfield store for my family last night. Girls working were nice but very under trained. Before I placed my order I witnessed 4 customers, 2 from the same family that got either the wrong sub or wrong ingredients. I ordered a turkey sandwich and an Italian. The young girl went right to it and cut up the cheese then the turkey and then the ingredients for the Italian. My issue is she never wiped down the cutter between ingredients. Then when the turkey sub moved down the line it had cheese on it. I told her I didn't order cheese and the girl asked preference or allergies? I told her preference. She took the cheese off and put it on the metal counter before returning my turkey to the bread. The same girl then took the cheese from the dirty counter and returned it to the case. Gross! I also ordered a steak and cheese. Another girl working the grill put the steak on after I watched her cook 3 other meals with various extras. Again never cleaned or scraped off the ingredients from the other grilled food. Needless to say I never took my order and left. I told them that this was the most disgusting display I'd ever seen in a restaurant. I actually feel bad for the girls working. Actually looked to see if there were any mushrooms, finally found them-chopped into minuscule pieces as was the steak. If you want a steak sub, go elsewhere. I'd suggest D'Angelos. I'm surprised by the negative reviews, I've been a few times and my boyfriend goes often and we haven't been disappointed. The deli subs are piled high with meat and the kids working crush it when it's busy. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because those cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks are pretty light on the meat but the flavor is there. Been to Jersey Mike's ALL OVER the USA and the Mansfield Ma location is by far the most dysfunctional and disappointing. At first I gave them the benefit of the doubt, you know, training new staff, grand opening and all.. well it's been months maybe coming up on a year soon?? and they're still just as dysfunctional. Not sure why every time I'm in there they need to scream everything at me like I'm deaf, also on several occasions I've heard them use profanity amongst each other and laugh about phone orders or make fun of an online order.. very unprofessional.. also not sure why they have the WORST bread of any of the Jersey Mike's I've ever been to coast to coast even the airport ones, they're always cut wrong, stale, crackle and fall apart, and don't cover my whole sub the meat sticks out everywhere so after one bite the whole thing falls out. Also since I frequent Jersey Mike's everywhere I gain rewards. This is the ONLY location to NEVER offer me a free ANYTHING with my points, I always have to ask. At other sites they ALWAYS say "you have a free regular or giant or mini would you like to use that on this order?" Or something of the like. Not telling the customer what they have accrued is Just another way to make more money. If you have the rewards aka "shore points" program and eat at Mansfield, MA be sure to ask where you stand when you checkout as you may have many free sandwiches waiting for you and you'd never know. Initially my family and I were very happy- so much so that we frequented the shop once a week but things quickly changed. The last 2 visits have been terrible- with me complaining on former and not retuning because of the latter. The bread was super stale (or overcooked) and the last time, caked with corn meal which made for a gritty, unappealing bite. Both times the bread on the subs came to us already torn, cracked and splintered. The bread continued to crumble and splinter as we tried to eat the subs. The meat both times (we ordered the giant kahuna with extra meat, a regular kahuna, and regular chicken philly) was dry (a little better the second time) and with barely any peppers or onions present. The cheese, which the kahunas are supposed to come with extra of, was pretty much none existent and the cheese that was present adhered mostly to the paper the sandwiches were wrapped in. In our initial visits, the cheese had been melted onto the meat making for a nice creamy bite which we had enjoyed. I told the owner, Lindsay, whom I had spoken with after the initial poor visit and subsequent unprofessional conversation with Troy, the store manager, that I would give her shop another try. However, based on this 2nd terrible visit, I cannot justify paying $40 for 3 inedible subs and will not frequent this shop again. I contacted the owner, Lindsay, to let her know I had tried the Mansfield location again, as she had requested. I explained that I had another unacceptable experience and would not be back. I just received her response which states that she "agree[s] with [me] that it's probably not the right fit and additional visits may frustrate [me] further." She is right.... I believe that an establishment should value it's customers and deliver a quality product each and every time. They obviously do not. Instead of trolling reviews and seeing what customers have to say after their visit, it may behoove the owners to put that energy into training their staff and conducting quality control tests.... then maybe they would have to worry about conducting damage control.
