The vibe was just right and as I entered the leasing office I met Jennifer and Vinci which not only were they super amazingly friendly but extremely helpful. They showed me my new apartment and took the time to guide me step by step on the application process and although we faced some difficulties with the portal and application process they guided me through the entire process till the very end and I'm very thankful and excited to start my new journey here at the countrywood apartments :) Jenn and Vinci you guys rock! She loves to use the word," Try ". The word ," Try ), means half way. No one accomplishes anything when they use the word ," Try ). No one , tries to show up for work. The word," Will ", means you will do something with all your heart. For months since day one , my friend has nicely askes the arrogant self centered employee in management to please call him by his Middle name. His middle name is on his driver's license. This is his name. Yet, here she is telling the knew females working in the front desk to also call this tenant by his first name. Every time this female , that is now in charge calls this new tennent by his first name after he has asked her more than once, she has a big grin on her face. Maybe her management team above her should be notified about her very bad customer service skills. Or maybe , she was grand fathered in to the position she now holds? The Holy Bible says: " Treat people like you would want to be treated". Can you imagine , hypothetically you just got your divorce. You ask the people working the front desk to please not call you by your previous last name you were married under. No matter how many times you ask them they keep doing it with a big grin on their face. Yet, you want to keep your past bad experience very private. The lady now in charge only cares about her sick humor. Than the other new female front desk employees start doing the same thing. How do these actions coinside with excellent customer service? They have this after hour maintenance phone number. Yet, only certain people know the web site and phone number to the owners of these apartments. Every one has a boss. The Holy Bible says : " Treat people like you would want to be treated ". It does not say, " Treat people any way you want ,so you can get a big laugh out of it ". People will remember names when these people mistreat them and do them wrong. All employees are replaceable. Bad customer service.

I have lived in many apartments in my lifetime and their leasing process was definitely the smoothest, quickest and most time efficient. As a nice touch. they even provided a little goodie bag upon move-in that included basic essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning products.... their customer service is unmatched in the area. As for the complex, I've lived here just a few weeks, but have had no issues at all.

There are plenty of things that are good about living at San Carlo, like having a beautiful newer…read morerental home, garage and in unit laundry.. however, a huge downfall to living at San Carlo is the parking. If you have a social life and/or significant other, I would go as far as to say the parking is a reason to not move here. There are very strict parking rules, allotting only 8 guest parking permits per month which are required after 9pm. With a pass, guests then are only allowed to park in one of the 8 spots allotted to guests (for the entire community) and you WILL be towed after 9pm without a pass (or even with a pass if you're inside of the community). If you have a weekend gathering, family over a few times, etc, passes are gone quick and then what? The parking rules essentially place a curfew on anybody that you have at your home unless you use your limited parking passes, even for a few hours. This is beyond a frustration and truly limits your freedoms / ability to host within your own home.

Residents are filthy when throwing away their trash with no consideration if the bag opens with trash all over the floor. Also this is the 3rd night of not getting sleep due to people in their car smoking bumping their bass music from 11:30-1 at night. When some of us have to wake up early for work. Guests and unregistered cars are a no go, and I'm really happy with that! My previous apartment complex has a huge problem with that, there would be random cars parked on free guest spots for days and even WEEKS, maintenance or security doesn't do anything about it. I have problems finding parking as it is, so my new home here will make me feel less stressed and more safe. I'm all about rules to make residents like myself feel safe where they live. I've read some of these reviews and haven't witnessed any of the things mentioned. I'm constantly in the office picking up packages and paying rent when potential tenants come in inquiring about availabilities. I do admit it's strict here but I like that it is, allows to be a quiet, comfortable, clean, safe place to call home compared to other complexes in the area.

My wife and I have had some minor repair issues, to be more exact about three times. But, they were just minor; shower head, electric outlets replacements, and we had to leave our apartment for a couple hours because we had preventive insecticidal spraying done to our unit. Not major, but somewhat important to everybody's life living. We are happy and will still be living there in the near future or whenever we get a better opportunity...no problems yet! That's a good thing... This is just an initial comment, but will be looking forward to writing another one in the next few months to let the Yelp audience know of any other issues that can become helpful to future tenants.

Juggling parking here is a major challenge. Many years of no water charge, we finally get an additional water fee added to our rent. They could not raise our rent any faster so this water fee was implemented. The stable water fee has a potential to go up at some point but it has not and from my understanding the new tenants pay more than the existing tenants. The property is still a great looking place and calm. In our apartment we still continue to see pests even with fumigations and it continues to be an inconvenience having to move our stuff every-time and be left out for hours for ventilation. Parking is just a nightmare here with only two reserved parkings, the office can hardly accommodate their own maintenance crew having to use our visitor parking and up to a recent maintenance project the office has decided to block visitors parking and strip us from our visitor parking privileges without notice as if they were disciplining us for tenants who misuse or for office not being able to properly manage visitor parking. No nearby street parking available and I have been towed twice and broken into my car with over 2k in losses. We have homeless that roam around at night, they use pool shower and let water running over the weekend when office is closed. This property is next to casino so expect traffic and long line to get in apartments at times. Just a heads up
