Melissa is an absolute rockstar of a manager. She keeps everything running smoothly while still making the place feel fun and welcoming. She also makes the best cocktails and shots every single time. You can tell she actually cares about the people and the experience, and it shows. I love that the food is simple and exactly what you want while hanging out pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks. No gimmicks, just solid bar food that hits the spot. The whole vibe feels like a party from the early 2000s in your best friend's garage or barn good drinks, good people, and fun virtual games. It's way more relaxed and fun than a boring bowling alley. This is a true down to earth hangout where you can actually enjoy yourself without all the chaos or pretense. In the front is a bar area and the back area was filled with simulation pods. One family was playing baseball and the other was playing golf. It was so cool and such a great idea to put a place like this downtown! The bar area was really cool with a large garage door to open in the warner months, 3 different slushy machines (non-alcohol option as well), a claw machine and cold beer on tap. The new ownership has this course on the right track, you can tell he cares and more importantly knows what he's doing. Is the course perfect? Absolutely not. The course itself is probably 3.5 stars but if you compare it to what it was before you could give 10 stars. What's good: -There's actual grass on all nine greens. They're very slow and the fringe isn't great yet but compared to the dirt I played on two years ago this is great. -There are tee boxes and multiple tees -A lot of new golf carts and repairs to the old golf carts -New targets on the range and new range balls What's not so good: -The grass everywhere besides the greens is still pretty overgrown. The tee boxes were like teeing off from the first cut -Greens still need some work but it seems like they're doing all the things needed to improve next year -No real practice area or putting green on the course or at the range. They had a small area roped off on the first tee -They need to create a cart path or clear the trees around 7/8/9, getting to 9 is still weird Overall I'm very impressed with the new owners' progress on turning the course around. It isn't quite ready to be "good" but I'm optimistic to play it again next season and see. *My photos reflect what I believed to be the best and worst greens on the course.*

With…read moreall of the racial tension going on in the world today the last place I thought I would experience this at was a golf course. We were minding our own business and not bothering anyone. A patron told us we were "slowing down" his game even though he was three holes behind us! Some guy with knee braces comes up to my brother and I on hole 11 and says "don't hit off the tee! you guys aren't following the rules." We were told each player must have their own clubs. (which is totally fine by us) The sad part is one of my high school teachers and her husband only had one set of clubs as well. Of course nothing was said to them. The two guys that were golfing in front of us only had a set of clubs as well. I didn't feel comfortable being here so I just decided it would be best if we leave. Apparently my kind isn't welcome here. No matter how respectful and kind you are.
