Bad customer service. Called to schedule an inspection, confirmed a date and time over the phone, I then received an email with a date about a month out. I thought clearly a mistake. I waited a couple days to call, (Since it was the weekend). During the weekend I received several emails with different dates. When I spoke to the them on Monday, he basically called me liar by saying "I never told you that date, that date was booked out a month in advanced". I was shocked and decided to look for another company. I am a real estate broker and I can tell you I will never use or recommend this company. Don't use these guys...EVER! We had a horrible experience! Our cabin was given the thumbs up with minor issues. Once we started working on the property (i.e. flooring), massive mold damage was discovered that was over a year old. In other words, he completely missed it, AND the cause of the water leak which was a bathtub/shower area that lacked caulking. To us, that's pretty standard stuff to look for in an inspection. We have asked for help remediating it, but they unleashed their lawyers on us using legalese to deny any blame on their part. Find someone else! read more

Horrible. Horrible. I just bought a house used Highlander Inspections. My husband took one shower on the night we moved in and water came pouring through the ceiling. Loch claims he "ran the shower for about 15 minutes." There was clear grout pulling away from the shower that he missed. When I emailed and called he never responded. He picked up the second call and said he would look into it and never got back to me. Totally disgusted with his service. Would never recommend this company. read more

Hired Highlander Inspections after a referral from our real estate agent, who is absolutely fabulous also, Cliff Herington from Herington Real Estate in Crestline, CA. After contacting Highlander Inspections, they were able to schedule us right away for the date and time requested. We had our inspection done by Red Werner. Not only was Red on time but was completely ready for the inspection. He was extremely thorough and spent hours looking through everything. We left him to it and went to eat. Red phoned us about 20 minutes prior to being done. When we came back to the house he reviewed everything with us going over each item and answering all of our questions. We received the inspection report the next day, however, I believe he completed it that evening as it was in my email the next morning.
