We had a short inspection window and the first inspection was done by another company and we were left with a lot of unanswered questions because the report was VERY vague. So we jumped on YELP and found Big Bear Home Inspectors, and boy did they deliver! The SERVICE (communication, detail and professionalism) was OUTSTANDING!!! It hits different when you work with people that love their job and go above and beyond. They are incredibly knowledgeable and come ready to work! They provided a super detailed report with great pictures and list people and companies that could help with the repairs and/or services. Like who does that? We had no access to the attic but the ceiling had a 12" hole someone made so they got on a ladder and stuck a camera and flashlight in it to get pictures (versus the first company just said no access), they use drones to take pictures of the rooftop and pointed out what was great about some of the stuff up there. When have you ever had an outside contractor show up early to an appointment? Never, right?!? I love dawn. He showed up early he was very professional very helpful very informative. My only challenges that it's important to note hes not a licensed contractor so he can not directly suggest what the repairs Need to be. However he can point out anything that he notices that needs to be repaired and suggest you get a license contractor to review it and investigate. He was wonderful to deal with, took great pictures, put together a great report. Again no suggestions as far as getting things repaired or what safety issues or code issues are, but he was great to deal with. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Don and Big Bear Home Inspectors. We have purchased multiple homes in the last 10 years and I have NEVER received the level of service that we did from Don. He was extremely thorough and detailed in his physical inspection of the property using state of the art tools.
