Robert performed our home inspection within a week of calling. (Very rare in Big Bear) his report was completed by the time he left the property. His report was detailed and provided recommended repairs. The only thing that was missed was a soft spot in the floor in one of the bedrooms that if you didn't walk over it, it would have been missed. The 1 star loss is due to the fact we asked him to check it before he went out and he missed it. My Wife and I opened escrow on a home in the Lake Arrowhead Area. After personally vetting a list of Inspectors provided by the Real Estate Agency, I decided to go in another direction. I spent quite a bit of time researching reputable Inspectors that would be qualified to provide a thorough inspection, and specialized in mountain homes. After all, this is an enormous investment for my Wife and I, and we did NOT want to be stuck with a $20K+ repair because something was missed or downplayed. Robert "Bob" Nuzzo is highly rated, and for good reason, which is why I ultimately chose him for this very important stage in the home buying process. Bob was very responsive, respectful, professional, and most of all, thorough. He was able to accommodate my Wife's and my schedule and even showed up early. He was well prepared, and easy to work with, and absolutely takes pride in his work. As one of the caveats, the house has a very small opening to access the crawl space/build up area (4'W x 1.5'H). I believe most Inspectors would have just reached in with a flashlight and camera and stopped there. "Bob" went into "tunnel rat" mode and risked life and limb as well as personal appearance to uncover a major problem with a "cheap" remodel/renovation that would have otherwise been undoubtedly missed. The job was not done correctly and now has to be redone in order to be up to code and prevent inevitable damage to the home. My Wife and I received our full comprehensive report with hi-res pictures to back it up in less than 24 hours.
