No matter what setting you put the air on, it blasted hot air at full blast. It made no difference what degree you set and whether the fan was high/low/auto. For someone always cold, I couldn't even handle that heat on full blast. It got cold through the night though (with no extra blankets in the room) so it ended up being a night of up and down turning the heat on and off. We had checked in late and already unpacked when we realized the issue so we tried to tough it out rather than try to change rooms. Plus we didn't want to go back out into the cold. We were also just tired at that point. The pillows were a hodge podge of uncomfortable tufts of fluff. To top it off, my husband took a shower in the morning and the water filled the tub because the drain was clogged. Would I stay again if absolutely necessary? Yes. Would I try reeeeeally hard to find another option? You bet.

It offers a level of comfort and seclusion not easily found elsewhere. Their property is amazing with gardens throughout and a quietness you cannot find at other B&Bs. They are incredibly welcoming to their home and go out of their way to make you feel appreciated. While we were secluded from civilization, the home itself offered all of the amenities you could ever need. We especially enjoyed exploring the books on the shelves, sitting on the porch, looking at the many species of trees and plant life, and perhaps best of all Scott's French Toast breakfast. I cannot stress enough just how wonderful our stay was and how accommodating they were to our last-minute changes. Both coffees were empty and no creamer. We had to ask for more coffee and then ask for creamer. The breakfast caused my wife to get sick, which caused us to make an additional stop to get meds. Some greats and some work to be done. Stay here on a budget but hope for the best on quality. How does the coffee run dry at 9:45am? People are still waking up still. I know that breakfast closes at 10:00am, but some set there alarms to eat something and get a coffee.
