She is so friendly and provided great service along with the rest of her team. She did exactly what I wanted and made my hair the perfect shade of blonde, i asked for the balayage and she got to work right away. They offered me coffee while waiting for color to develop, and all the staff made me feel very welcomed.. I've been coming here to do my nails for a while now. Jennifer is amazing - super detail oriented, neat and always asks if I'm ok with the nail shape/extra coat, nail length etc. She does sometimes bring her son, Matthew, which is totally fine since he's well behaved. However, there is another little boy, Andrew, who is rotten to the core. He's maybe 4-5 years old, but literally runs up and down the salon for hours, screams about being a "teacher" and consistently knocks things down. Not only is if dangerous for the kid, Jennifer and the rest of the employees at distractly looking at him. I recommend that the owners make it clear to the employees that it's ok for young children to be there, but cannot run around like maniacs distracting everyone. I first visited this salon last year. I got a hair cut and blow dry and my hair felt amazing and grew so long and healthy. The staff is all personable and the environment feels welcoming. I recently visited them for another hair cut and this time i got a cut by a different lady, who was also very knowledgeable and knew the cut I was going for. Just long layers, which is simple but sometimes it's hard to get a haircut when your hair is wavy but these hair stylists know about the different types of hair and how to cut and go about styling it. I came here after an extensive search for a place where I could get a nice blowout and curls. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a place to get my hair done. I was able to call and just walk-in. It was busy on a Friday night but I didn't wait long to get into a chair and get a wash. I dont think the woman who did my hair spoke very fluent English so we didn't talk much. However, she did a great job on my hair and a week later my hair is still straight and looks healthy and amazing! My hair is medium length (stops at my shoulder) so my bill was only $20. While sitting in the nail salon on this rainy evening, around 7:30 pm, I decided I needed (yes, needed!) to get my hair done. After asking around, a friend recommended this place. She called them and asked them if they'd take me for color, cut & blow out. Surprisingly, they agreed, even though they close at 8 pm. I arrived around 7:45 and the salon was still pretty full. The woman who was doing my hair had another client, but there was a large selection of up to date magazines, so I was busying myself reading the nonessential "news" I normally wouldn't bother with. (Dating advice from Kim Kardashian, how to win a $3000 shirt I'd never wear anyway, what colors are "in" this season, how to eat less calories so I can look like an anorexic runway model, etc.) That also left me with a lot of time to check out the decor, which was very much like something you'd expect to find in Astoria or Manhattan- definitely not a place you'd think would exist in Corona. My go-to salon in Corona! The many times I've gone (usually during peak hrs), I've hardly had to wait even though it is usually very busy. I find that everyone that works there is polite & they try their best to communicate with you if you don't speak Spanish (which I don't). The man at the front desk speaks English (& Spanish), & when you tell him what services you want, he communicates it to the stylists. In the past, I've had frequent wash & sets, as well as clip in extensions, & a single color process, where I went from jet black to burgundy-red. This isn't very easy to do & they did a flawless job. They didn't have the color I wanted, so the owner Gertrudis sent someone out to the beauty supply store to pick it up. They could have easily just told me that they didn't have the color available, but instead, they went out of their way to please their customer. Another great example of excellent customer service: I walked into the salon on the day of my bridal shower, hoping to be in & out within an hour to make it on time. I had to get my hair washed & blow dried AND get my nails done. When I walked in, I was told that I would have to wait about 15-20 minutes. I guess they saw the worry in my eyes shortly afterwards, so they washed my hair after about 5 minutes & as soon as I sat down & started getting my nails done, one of the hairdressers brought her blowdryer over to the table where I was sitting, & just started going to work on my hair. Needless to say, I was in & out of the salon in about 30-40 minutes. I usually see Fanny for my hair. She always does an outstanding job and I absolutely LOVE her blow outs. She blows out my hair and puts my hair up in clips. I take the clips out a few hours later and my hair always looks amazing. I saw her once before a long flight to Europe and I had my hair pinned up after my blow out for almost 24 hours. When I took the clips out when I arrived to Paris, my hair looked flawless with loose curls and lasted for about 3 days. Such a terrible experience. They scam you and my color faded out after my first wash. I dyed my hair blue and it became a aqua green when I washed it. My hair used to be curly too and now it's super fried so Im devestated about that too. They told me 150$ when I came in and when I finished she said $250. I had my hair washed, trimmed, set and blow dry by a lady name Victoria. She did a great job! I was very happy. The price was only $30. I have curly hair so I was little skeptical because I just wanted a little bit cut. She did it perfect and I still have length. I recommended my sister in law the following week to get her hair done.
