Great outdoor venue! If you show up early, parking can be a breeze. It was free for this event or your could pay for priority parking. We paid for priority passes to skip the line but it was not needed. The lines moved quickly, but this may also depend on timing and the event. The vendors for drinks/food/merch were well spread out and everyone ran things smoothly. It's a plus to have access to indoor bathrooms and port-a-potty's were also available. The sound was amazing.Definitely bring a blanket! Check the weather and pack accordingly. It got chilly on a summer night and I wish i had brought a sweater. As someone in a previous review shared, the left side of the stage is a bit better since it's on the higher part of the hill.

Everything other than the view was incredible. Everything went really smoothly and it was great. The reason why I'm giving this 3 stars is because I could barely see anything. And considering I was fairly close to the stage that's a little bit of an issue. I'm 5'6 and had to look at my phone to see anything at all. The ground is slightly tilted so it was hard for anyone to see much unless they were in the first 6 rows.

I went to the Mann for the first time for the Sad Summer Fest and I had an incredibly experience. As I said it was my first time so I didn't really know what to expect and there wasn't a ton of information about the venue. The skyline stage is just a separate stage at the Mann Center (the semi dome theater with lawn seating). Since they're connected they share the same amenities like indoor bathrooms - which is the most amazing thing ever for an outside venue. They were so clean, the staff was continuously cleaning them and emptying all the trash on the grounds. They had food vendors and staff readily accessible. The music fest I went to brought in food trucks and a misting tent which was super cool. I loved the stage itself because it's transparent so you can see through the back of the stage which is really neat. Surround the stage there are many trees which was great for this particular show as it was hot and sunny all day while we were there. Parking was expensive - $25 for grass, but they have an easy drop off / pick up spot so my friend and I just took a lyft. Overall I was super surprised with the venue and will definitely come back to any more shows if I see the Mann Center or the skyline stage as an option.

I plan on taking my 11year old daughter to a concert in the summer, is there an age limit for concerts? Just curious cause this would be her first concert

House venue that tries to host unique shows on Fridays and Saturdays. But it's also trying to do more with film and potlucks. I went down here to hang out with my friends Seizure 17 and was instantly impressed. It had a fresh mix of bands that I either haven't seen on the house show circuit before, or where mixing it up at a new house for the first time. And that's the way it should be. there was some fresh looking art in the living room, and the basement venue was pretty big. At 6'5" I had no trouble standing up without bumping my head, and even had a bit of room to get my dance on. They were even cool enough to let my friends set up a video screen for their set. Chernobyl is maintained by Da Comrade, a Philly band I haven't had the chance to hear yet (might be taking care of that after Rum Bar when they play with my friends again). But I've heard nothing but good things and they've played with some great bands like Agent Moosehead and Saudi Arabia. Looks like there are no shows coming up in May, but definitely try to scope the venue out on Mysapce to see what their cooking up for June.

I love places where you can come in, grab a drink, listen to some good live music and just enjoy yourself without feeling like you have to make a whole production out of the evening. Cellar Dog gave me exactly that kind of vibe. Between the music, atmosphere and great service, I had a really enjoyable experience. It's a nice option in Center City when you're looking for something a little different from the typical bar experience. I would definitely come back, especially for another happy hour with live music!

Shout out to the friendly staff, especially bartender Tahj! Speaking of bars, Cellar Dog has beer, wine, and cocktails. And a house green tea shot. Hungry? They've got typical bar food. I like their Cellar dog - a hot dog is perfect with almost any drink, especially at a reasonable $4 (credit accepted). I've been here on quiet nights, and haven't experienced a cover charge (yet). There's a stage for live performances, and plenty of TVs playing sports (usually). Like pool? There's +4 tables available when you're feeling competitive.

The upstairs area has a chill vibe with some Mario-themed art as well as a TV. It seems that the kitchen is upstairs, so a lot of waiters were flying by out table to the staircase. Our waiter was pretty chill. Apparently an O's fan, he was excited to learn we're from Baltimore. Food was all fantastic. The style of fries isn't my preference, but they were decent. Other than that, I was blown away. Child #1 and Child #2 got some items from the Kids' menu - grilled cheese and cheeseburger. Bread and Butter appetizer. Is it expensive for just being bread and butter? Yes. Is it worth it? Also yes. The homemade bread is great, but combine it with honey butter with flaky salt, and it's incredible. Loads of reviews on Yelp talked about the sausage roll. GET IT. It's greasy and filling in all the right ways. Goes great with a beer. My wife got the burger and she found it to be very tasty. I got the Grilled Maitake Mushrooms dish and holy cow; it's perfect. Even if you're not a vegetarian (I'm not), you can appreciate this dish: crispy rice cake (not the dry kind from the store), tender baby bok choy, and of course the well-cooked mushrooms are tied together with black vinegar, garlic-whipped tofu (!), and a peanut sauce. A++ would absolutely get again. The food menu has some staples, but overall it does change nightly, so make sure you check it out before you come. Apparently, on Sundays, they do a different experimental flavor of wings. I was curious, but my stomach has only so much room, so I had to draw the line. There is a respectable drink menu. My wife got the blood orange mezcalita, which she liked, but thought the smoke flavor was more subtle than described. I got the Plum Fizz and would totally get it again. Pleasantly-sour with a nice fizz. It's a nice pub in a nice neighborhood of a major city - be prepared for prices to match. But it is absolutely worth it.
