You need to be wary of if the store is attending an anime convention, as they visit major conventions across the country and take almost all of their manga supply with them. I would suggest checking in with the store before going and getting unlucky with all their manga being gone. (It's happened to me before lol) I will say the help isn't the best at times, as they frequently do sorting and rearranging of inventory, but when not busy, all of the staff are very nice and will helpfully explain anything to you!! The location is a little uncomfortable, but it's not too bad and there is a really good restaurant next door! Also need to clarify: they don't only sell manga, they have a large variety of things like anime merchandise, art books, cds and dvds, posters, plushies, and lots of gaming/ trading cards!

Right off the bat, the heavy set man with the mullet was rushing his sales person to hurry and serve us because they were doing inventory. Then when my wife was browsing the manga section, He stopped everybody else from working and said "She's back here." Not sure what that meant but I wasn't happy with it. If it wasn't for how nice the sales person was, I would have walked out and not spent the $300 plus I spent that day. Needless to say I will NOT be visiting them again.

By the end of our visit we had to pick up some items to help build up my pre-schooler's budding Pokemon collection and something for big sis too. You would be hard pressed to find a more complete comic and gaming store in the area. SELECTION: like I said before they have a great selection of stuff. It is divided into two sections so it's easy to find what you need. Comic books are very well laid out with a easy to find rack of new comics as well as bins of old comics. I really appreciated the family friendly area too. for the card section, they have both training cards and collectible card games. They carry things like Pokémon, Magic the Gathering , Lorcana, and Star Wars unlimited. But they have much more than just that. SERVICE: service was great! Overall, they are very helpful and it is well staffed. It was a little disorganized near the register, but can't really complain because of the great selection and the friendly attitude. COST: the value for what you get is right on the Mark. It is a place with reasonable prices and they stick relatively close to MSRP. The exceptions being what you would find at any other card shop. Right now Pokémon cards are through the roof, but at least here they are reasonable.

A good showing here and well curated that shows they get it, without seeming like they're "too" interested in the odd hyper price hike cash grab in the space in some of the fandom frenzy areas. I bought some on Amazon as gifts, only to realize after that, this place has them cheaper! I was just browsing and didn't have any questions or requests from the staff, but based on interactions with others, they know their stuff. This is not a surface-level, small store where they display a tiny collection. They have almost everything. I think that's the most important thing you need to know about this place. I did notice the retro consoles and games like the SNES are priced quite steeply here. They are rare to come by in Northern Virginia, so I'd expect that.

As others have noted - this is a pretty small store. It might be the smallest comic book store I've seen in the area. But - small is not necessarily a negative. They have a good selection of comics. They also have a small selection of D&D books and dice.
