The coffee here is so good and the atmosphere is relaxed if you need to sit and work or chat a bit.

Mildreds - vegan chorizo bun & whipped dip

We visited Mildreds in Covent Garden during our trip to London, and it completely exceeded…read moreexpectations. Widely regarded as one of the city's most popular vegan restaurants, it delivers food that is satisfying, hearty, and packed with flavour. I ordered the Chick+n Caesar Burger, which featured a plant-based chick+n patty, Caesar mayonnaise, lettuce, and red onion relish. My wife chose the Beetroot Carrot Vada Burger, made with a masala-spiced beetroot and carrot patty, mango lime slaw, green chutney, and tamarind chutney. Both burgers were served with a generous portion of fries and made for a very filling meal. What stood out most was the quality of the flavours and the portion sizes. Every ingredient felt thoughtfully chosen, and the combinations worked exceptionally well together. As someone who regularly eats meat, I was genuinely impressed by the texture and flavour of the Chick+n Caesar Burger. We also ordered two fresh juices: the Cucumber, Celery & Apple and the Pineapple, Apple, Ginger & Turmeric. Both were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or simply looking to try something different, Mildreds is well worth a visit. The menu is creative, the food is delicious, and the overall experience demonstrates just how good plant-based dining can be. Highly recommended if you're visiting London and exploring the Covent Garden area. Service was great - super friendly staff Ambiance was nice - a chilled, quiet, progressive crowd

The mains were so good. We had the Korean fried chicken burger (which was HUGE, by the way), the beetroot burger, and the tofu salad. The burgers were very good, but boy, when I took a bite of my friend's salad, I fell in love. It was refreshing, the flavors were yum, and I'm drooling a bit rn thinking about it. The staff were extremely quick, kind, and sweet. There's lots of seating, although the downstairs area was quite packed. Overall, I loved the ambience of the place!

We wished we'd known you can just sit at the patio and order and they'll deliver it to you, but you can also go up to each stall to order and receive a pager. We liked that it was an easy way to eat outdoors (which is what we tend to do while traveling) and that they had quite a bit to choose from. The stain glass window is also really gorgeous as you walk up and down the stairs. All in all, while maybe not a must-do, if you're staying in the area, it's definitely a good stop for eats if you're looking for something simple and easy.

Lool It is multiple stories floors etc etc...when you first walk in you are greeted with all these cute succulents for sale and other foliage. It smells great. There is also a banana pudding place to the right. They have signage on the wall that indicates what is available on each respective floor. They literally have everything to choose from. Mexican, Italian, English food and Gelato! Plus coffee! Since I was visiting London I decided to try fish & chips! Wow fried to perfection! The fries were so good, and the fish needs some Lowrys. There was literally no seasoning. There is also a outdoor seating area with a bar the 3rd floor ample seating. I really enjoyed this place. They also have cool renovated bathrooms in the basement.

The moment I step in, one of the staff explained the concept of Tibit to me. Items are clearly labelled. Because I was there around breakfast time, I did not get a chance to see the lunch and dinner options. With that said, I really enjoyed the vegan "sausage" roll (1.60 pound). It was flakey on the outside and filled with delicious UFO (unidentified filling option). I commend Tibits for their plant-based ingenuity.

It was clean and roomy, and I liked the overall vibe. 4/5 SELECTION: It's all vegetarian (but they have labels for which are vegan, along with some other allergy notifications) and it's like a hot food bar, where you put whatever you want on a plate and then they weigh it, and you pay per 100g. There are 40 different dishes offered daily, including salads, hot dishes, and desserts. They also have drinks and cocktails. 3/5 WHAT I GOT: From what I remember/can see from my picture, I got white rice, mixed greens, bok choy, a grilled veggies mix, a green beans mix, a potatoes and peas mix and some of an artichoke dish. All of the stuff I got was vegan. It was all pretty good and tasted fresh and of good quality -- in fact, it was probably the best buffet/hot food type bar I've ever been to. None of it tasted like it'd been sitting out for a while, and none of it was undercooked or tasted too processed. The only complaint I have is that I wish they refrained from using oil, but it actually could've been much worse, so that's that. 3/5 SERVICE: The employees seemed friendly. I mean, we didn't really need to interact with them much, given the style of eatery, but they seemed nice lol. 4/5

We ordered the Teriyaki Soya VFish (£8.50) to start, which came with 4 smallish pieces of soya fish, grilled nicely, slightly charred -- very tasty but poor value for what you get. For my main, I got the Curry Laksa (about £15), and added tempeh (£2.50), since it comes with no protein by default (which is odd, since you'd expect at least tofu puffs). The broth was heavy on the citrus and not particularly authentic -- missing that turmeric and chili character you expect in a proper laksa -- and the toppings were kind of sparse. The noodles were also medium-thickness, whereas authentic laksa should be thin vermicelli and/or yellow noodles. Oh well. It was decent for what it is, but ultimately unsatisfying and not good value. Overall, the place is nice, the location is great, and service was super friendly. But food- and value-wise, it was a bit lacking.

Food and drinks: This is a self-serve, all you can eat, with your food kind of place. I had portions of at least 6 different things, plus the gluten free pita. It was so good! I really enjoyed the curry with onions and sweet potato, the stroganoff dish, and the spinach. Not a single thing I didn't like (including the sauces). To drink, you can make a cocktail by adding alcohol to their juice combo. I had the ambrosia (I think!?) with vodka; there were strawberries inside and it was good! Service: The 2 folks there were nice and helpful. They explained how the place works and let us stay long after closing while my friend and I were chatting. Ambiance: When you see the door and peer down the stairs, you have no idea what you're getting into. The place was clean, good was well presented, it has a cozy, loved-in feel. Could accommodate 2 people or a larger group. It was so tasty (and allergen friendly) that I'm thinking of going back tomorrow...

We started with a mixed plattern of little bits and bites like Cashew Nut Pakora and Masala Poppadums ( Savoury crips garnished with chopped onion, tomato, cucumber and green chilli and coriander) All was really good. But my personal highlight of the night was the Masala Dosa! It was acutally the best Dosa i had, since i have left India three years ago. I would come back only for the Dosa!!! For the main course we had some different dishes coming up with riche or Butter Naan. All were very tasteful and the way they were served seemed really authentic to me. The service was good, always making sure that we had enough to drink and are enjoying our food. As deserts we had Gulab Jammum ( Golden condensed milk dumplings in a rose and saffran syrup) Amazing! You really gotta try this. If there would be one thing i would be picky about, it would be the interieur of the dining room in the back of the restaurant. It is not really the most relaxing place to sit in. At least the plastic flowers hanging down from the ceiling could be changed into real ones, but in a way this also fits to India.. ;-)
