Lucky me, it was basil cells and I had to have it removed today. I was so nervous! Like almost in tears nervous- and I have had 4 kids . I saw Dr Patrick and he gave me a few treatment options and told me how lucky I am we caught it early. In both of my experiences with the front desk staff they have been more than friendly and accommodating. The nurses and techs have all been professional, calming and very helpful of the procedure and post procedure care. Both Holly & Dr Patrick were very professional, attentive, educational & took the time to answer all of my questions. I will definitely be back, hopefully for just yearly exams now . I have never waited long and definitely not past my appt time. The front desk staff are always extremely friendly, the office is nice and clean and modern looking and the exam rooms are nicely maintained as well. Michelle is always very informative and gentle and takes as much time as you need. Checking out is always a breeze as well. I came to her initially because I had a few acne spots I wanted to get rid of. She prescribed me so many nasty toxic topicals and told me to use adaplene EVERYDAY. She kept pushing birth control on me and kept saying it was "hormonal". She made my acne so much worse and caused so much irritation and MORE acne to my skin. I highly don't recommend going to Tara. She should have her license revoked from her. It's actually disgusting what she did to my skin. She clearly doesn't specialize in acne whatsoever. If you need a GOOD dermatologist that actually cares about you go to Dr.Kate Gerber at Orchid dermatology in Bradenton. She has helped my skin improve so so much and I'm so thankful I found her.

Probably saved me 15 minutes in the office. When I got there the receptionist was so friendly and so was the nurse who did the procedure. The doctor seems very nice also, I didn't have much interaction with him because I was having a simple procedure but the one I did have was pleasant. I was in and out in less that 1/2 an hour. Cost me $7 for 5 skin tags to be removed. Probably my insurance made it that cheap.

Apparently my provider changes and now they won't refill my RX until I'm seen, so I make an appt which is more than a month away. Let me share that the pharmacist requested refill almost a month ago. I've made several calls to the AAD office with no response, meanwhile I've run out and my cystic acne has started to come back. In the matter of a week I've had a breakout of painful, sore swelled red bumps on my face. I cannot even lay on my right side because they hurt. But rather than refill my RX Ulta last me until my appt they flat out refuse. I am not a new patient they have my file, they see me 2x a year. No one reached out to say my Dr was changing and to avoid a gap in treatment plz make an appt. No one responded to pharmacist when they tried to refill, no one reached out to me when the pharmacist tried to refill. No one responded to my 2 calls to the office when I was told a note would be placed on my chart to have it refilled. Now I'm in pain AND I have 2 huge red bumps on my face! Which makeup cannot hide! And they want me to continue to wait 45 days until she can see me. And start my treatment all over again! No thank you! If you don't care about how you're treated by your provider or you don't have any real issues then sure use AAD otherwise keep looking.
