After putting me on hold for nearly 20 minutes I called back and my call was immediately answered by the same person. They assured me it would not be a problem. Friday afternoon I called up asking for an ETA and they claimed the order didn't come in until Friday morning, so they won't be delivering until Saturday. I reminded them again that I am basically out of oil and they gave a snarky reply when I asked if I needed to run out and get some diesel fuel to get me through. I called Saturday afternoon as I still hadn't received the delivery. They simply told me they were still out delivering and give them a call again in an hour and a half. I called over an hour and half later, asked about my delivery and they told me that it was now too dark at 6PM to continue delivering so they will need to attempt to fit me in tomorrow Sunday. I am now going to get another can of diesel fuel and continue to have enough keep me going through most of tomorrow as I will currently run out before morning. Would definitely NOT recommend.

DuPuis Oil installed my boiler 3 years ago. They sent a technician to clean it upon my request. The…read moretechnician did not do the job correctly. 6 months later (August 12th, 2025) my house filled soot and carbon monoxide. DuPuis send a different technician who said the previous technician did not clean the boiler correctly and he showed me why he said that. He also documented it. DuPuis never billed me for the service on August 12th. On October 27th my boiler didn't start. I called DuPuis and the service manager told me that they won't support my boiler anymore unless I buy their oil. I told them I would find someone else. 3 days later, which was 80 days from the corrective service they did on August 12th, I get a bill. My first bill for this service with net 20 terms. On November 5th they send me a statement that included two months of a late fee, for a bill I didn't even have during that time. The late charges are fraudulent. They did shoddy work on my boiler and after it polluted my house and almost killed me, they want me to pay for them to re-clean and properly adjust my boiler because I wouldn't let them extort me into buying their overpriced oil. On August 12th I would have paid the bill had they presented me an invoice as per usual, but assumed they didn't because their poor work necessitated the August 12 service call. If they were going to bill me with terms of Net 20 for the work they did on August 12th, they should have billed me on August 12th, not 80 days afterwords because I refused to be extorted. For them to charge me late fees for two months I wasn't billed is criminal. They should be audited to see what other unethical business practices they employ.

First time my furnace got tuned up in Jan 2021, my Nest thermostat end up not working after it was tuned up. It can't be a coincidence that it stopped working after the tune up. I call Atlantic to have them come back and take a look and was told the issue wasn't cause by them. I was also charged like 150 for having them come back to look at the issue they probably was caused by the technician. I ended having to buy a brand new Nest thermostat out of pocket. I was assured by Atlantic the oil prices would be competitive with other companies. In the past I have checked their price vs other companies and it was in the same range. But May 2023, I got oil auto delivered at a 3.59/gallon for 133 gallon for a total of 479.03. I checked other companies like Eastern Petroleum, they were charging 2.62/gallon!! I would have paid about 356 for the same delivery. To me this is unbelievable that there is a huge proce difference among other companies. Normally the invoice they drop off would have the price summary but this last delivery didn't have it at all. Why was this price summary left off on purpose?? I got same invoice via email when the delivery was just finished and it showed the breakdown. I decided to call Atlantic to cancel by service contract and told them the reason why. This was an opportunity to make things right and try to retain me as a customer. But there was no resistance so the service was cancelled and they told me thank you for having them as an oil provider. I can say thank you for ripping me off!! You will never have me as a customer ever again.

Had a very nice new user package for home oil delivery, with a competitive rate locked for one year…read more(with auto-delivery) and a free inspection of my tank, system and HVAC. My tank never dropped below a quarter full, and the delivery dudes were like ninjas. The big issue I had was after my introductory twelve months, I got the Comcast treatment - prices jacked up, my annual free inspection evaporated, and I had to call three times to get an involuntary maintenance fee removed from my bill. In the end, oil is a commodity, and most companies offer a similar auto-delivery service. As it goes, I found another biz with a similar offer; however, the new biz lets you pay online (AP is USPS only), and even their list price is $0.20 less per gallon than Atlantic's going rate. The tank's an eyesore, and I need to modernize, but til then, it's a battle of who will charge less.

I explained that I was moving and that Monday would be better since I need to get it fixed. She insisted that he had to come on Tuesday, and told me that he had time to both provide an estimate and both fix the fan on Tuesday. I left work early in order to get home for Paul to arrive at 6:30 PM. He never showed up. I emailed Stephanie around 7 PM and she told me that her she had emailed me but "it must have gotten caught in her outbox", but that Paul had gotten caught up in the previous job and wouldn't be able to come. I explained, again, that I would be moving and needed this fixed. Stephanie told me she didn't know what I was talking about, that even if Paul could come provide an estimate he wouldn't be able to fix it. I responded back with a screenshot of Stephanie telling me he could both provide an estimate and fix it in one day. Stephanie then promised me that Paul would arrive at 6 AM the next day to fix it. I was very clear, again, with Stephanie that my movers were coming at 7 AM and he had to be on time since I was leaving. I got up super early to be ready for his arrival... and he arrived at 7:15 AM, an hour and 15 minutes late, as my movers were in the midst of moving. He did tell me what the problem was, but said he'd have to come back and fix it. I told him he'd have to coordinate with my tenant who was moving in. I connected Stephanie and Paul with my tenant. She scheduled two times for him to come fix the issue and both times, he never showed without notice. Finally my tenant emailed Stephanie and Stephanie responded that she no longer works for 99 Handy. I texted Paul twice last week asking him to please fix the gaping hole in my bathroom wall, and got no response. Please stay away at all costs. I did not receive an email confirmation just a message on the screen saying my permit was being processed. The Sunday prior to my move I still had not been contacted by anyone. I was headed out of town for business and this time went directly to my states website to look up parking permits for moves. Found the information and purchased my permit for $41. On Monday, 9/9 I was contacted by an Alma Cruz. She did not introduce herself or explain what she was contacting me in regards to. I was at work and reading these emails from my phone and unfortunately assumed it was the city contacting me as I had just pulled my permit the night before. She was asking me a bunch of q's and we went back and forth and finally she said I was all set. I was never informed how much anything would cost, next steps, nothing. When I got home I noticed a charge for $41. I was confused because I had already been charged $41 the night before for my permit. Then I got a charge for $222 from a company called Porch. WTF? I was very confused I looked at the vague invoice which only says Customer Payment on it. Doesn't say what it is for company information nothing. I then connected the dots. Reached out to Alma and explained that I had already purchased my permit and don't need their service as I had reached out over a week ago and never heard from anyone. She said it was too late because they already bought the permit. I said I was fine to pay the $41 for the permit but don't need their service and she had someone else reach out and tell me it was too late. They do 10 min of work and are charging over $200 they should let folks know prior to being charged what they do and how much it is going to cost. The pricing is NOT transparent. I'm disputing it through my bank and with the BBB but do yourself a favor and pull the permit yourself its not hard. Message me and I can help you out. I'll even pull it for you it takes 10 minutes and not worth the headache or $222 you're going to be charged for their "work." None of the people that were in touch with me matched her people that I actually spoke to. I placed an order on 11/20/24 for a Boston parking permit needed from 12/17-12/19. I was moving…read morefrom another state, and needed someone in town to secure the permit for my moving pod. I spent the entire week prior to when I needed the permit trying to get an update from Permit Puller. There had ben zero communication from then since I placed the order. I FINALLY got someone to confirm for me on 12/13, that they had received the permits and would get them up the same day. The permits were not put up until a couple days later. Luckily, this was just in the nick of time. I took down the permits myself, although I had placed the order to have Permit Pullers do it, because I didn't trust they would and I didn't want a fee from the City for tardy permit removal. Then came the payment. When you place your order, it doesn't tell you how much the service will cost. I was invoiced $109 on 12/16 and paid it. Then, yesterday, on 1/8, I was sent an invoice for $249, with them saying their payment system screwed up and I now owe them $140. There really isn't an alternative competing service to use but, if you can, avoid using Permit Puller. Whatever headache/stress you'll be saving by not having to go get your own permit will only result in a series of other headaches/stresses.
