This place is an absolute joke. The owner, Rob, had our motorcycle for a YEAR. We tried to be gracious and give him the benefit of the doubt because of COVID but every time we talked to him he had an excuse for why it wasn't done. By the time we picked it up the bike didn't even run, yet he had the nerve to charge us $1000, on top of the deposit we already paid him. I strongly believe the bike was never touched because we asked for the receipts for the so-called parts he ordered, but of course he couldn't produce any. The taillights were also smashed because apparently his dog got ahold of them? Not only was he incredibly disrespectful, to the point where the police had to be called, but his shop is an absolute wreck with bikes ripped apart and parts everywhere. How this place is still open is beyond comprehension. Don't trust this place with anything you care about. It's a shame there isn't a 0 star option. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. DON'T BRING YOUR BIKE HERE. I had Rob the owner pick up my honda scooter in early june of 2019 I called him 3weeks later and he hadn't even looked at the bike. I get a call in late August that the bike is ready... Right after that i get another call telling me to never mind "they cant get the compression to stay up. Rob told me that he needed to keep the bike longer to find out what was wrong with it but, he ask me to take care of my bill so he can keep working on it. So i paid him $458 for cleaning the carburetor and. Fix the rear brake that was stuck(not a replacement). He promised me he will have it done in two weeks max. So i checked on him two weeks later and he has completely forgot that he had to work on my bike.. So 3 more weeks go by and i call in and the same thing. He hasn't touch the bike. Every time i would call he had the same excuses but in different words. I asked a few times if I should pick up the bike and he said no I'll work on it just give me more time. The week of thanksgiving I spoked to him again and he said he'll have an answer for me on Wednesday. Wednesday comes and guess what... You guessed it. NOTHING Today is 12-2-19 (5 MONTHS LATER he still has my bike i paid him 458 dollars for Nothing and on top of that he can't even give a straight answer on why he can't fix the bike other than he hasn't had time blah blah blah. I called him today but he wasn't in and he's supposed to call me back I wonder what excuse he has for me now. read more

For Motorcycle, Moped and Scooter Repair you couldnt ask for a better experience than Higley Motors! I've been taking several of my vehices here for years and the service quality is unheard of these days! I tried getting into 4 other repair shops last year and this year and both times I was told that they were so backed up still from late winter that they werent even accepting new customers unless I'd be okay with a 1 month wait on my repair. I was apaulled. I went to another shop and was told that it would cost me $175 for them to pick up my Triumph from my house that was 9 miles away and the repair itselt would be well over $1000!!! They had a $135hour labor charge plus a extremely long wait. I went to HIGLEY MOTORS and was greated by two freindly Mechanics who explained everything they though may be the cause and only charged $60 to pick up my bike plus $2 per mile which was better than any other offer I had gotten in Milwaukee. They also have the lowest labor rates in town. And for the service you get, i'd gladly have paid more. The owner personally made me feel welcome and showed a sense of urgency knowing that my time was valuable and that i wanted to get out on the road as soon as possible for riding season and told me to expect it to be done in a week. They asked if it was okay to text me which i thought was odd but then I found out why and it blew my mind. Their attention to detail and their consideration blew me away. The service technician would send me pictures and updates of exactly what was going on on my bike and showed the parts that were bad and kept me updated as he progressed. Thinking back, there is nothing worse than a shop having your bike for a mont hand just sitting there wondering if they even started working on it yet, if they forgot about it, or if something has gone really wrong with it.... They took all the worries away. They had said it would take a week and quoted me at $500 .... half the price of the other shop. I got my Bike back in 3 DAYS!!!! And they found out that the problem wasnt as severe as they thought and only charged me $280 it came to after tax! I was so impressed I gave them an extra $100 for going above and beyond. Had the perfect experience. 5 stars and would give more if I could. I inherited a older Harley soft tail that had some difficult problems and after two high end dealers gave up on my bike I found this small out of the way place this summer. The owner said it would take some time as he was backed up due to a few bad apples quitting on him, but like I said I had already spent over 2 gs and it still was not running so what's the rush. Well merry Christmas to me! I received a call on Saturday and went down to Higley Motors with my cousin and my dads bike runs beautifully think the owner thought I was nuts for taking it out for as long as I did for as cold as it was but to be honest I stopped and cried at the gas station a bit as 2 other very large dealers basically said to sell it for parts and it came to me running great and all polished.
