Our vet was amazing along with the kind people up front and the vet tech too. Yesterday I went to say goodbye to my dog, and the veterinarian was amazing, he told us everything we needed to know to make our decision, and we did. They treated my good boy well, up until the end, and afterwords my family and I said something, and the vet responded in the funniest way possible giving this sad situation a funny ending I can now talk about anytime I reminisce on my dog's end. read more

Dr. Sarah and all the staff were so efficient and nice. They saw us as soon as we arrived and took care of an exam, rabies shot, and nail clipping in under an hour. My favorite part is how gentle the staff were. I have a chihuahua Suki who is very aggressive with anything, especially a nail trim. Other places have failed to muzzle her and the last place we went to made us give her a sedative and hold her down with a towel before. This time, they just easily slipped a cone on without any sedative given before and Suki was very calm. She didn't even try to bite when she was given the rabies shot. They emphasized how they didn't want to stress her out/push her during the appointment. They prescribed some medicine for anxiety/pain and antibiotic eye drops that they filled immediately. The prices were reasonable compared to the other places around me. I have a lot less anxiety about taking Suki to the vet now! The space is also nice and clean. read more

I absolutely ADORE my dog and when we adopted her 8 years ago, Higley Road Pet Clinic (then called "Higley Road Animal Clinic" and owned and operated by Dr. Sam Wolf, may he rest in peace) was suggested to me. In the past 8 years, my Lilly has come in for routine visits, emergency visits, for being sick/injured and even for a minor surgery. I have had 100% positive experiences there! Currently, Dr. Oliver and Dr. Graham are the vets we see. Both are compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, understanding and kind. They provide thorough exams (typically while sitting on the floor with Lilly!) and always explain what they're doing as they go along. Their personal service is exemplary, even to the point where I ALWAYS get a call directly from whichever doctor saw her the next day to check in. Add to that an office staff that is efficient, friendly and also compassionate and you have the recipe for an excellent place to take your furry family member. Dr. Oliver is pretty good. I don't think he realizes how rude his staff has been. They need to treat people better and not assume. I called for an appointment and the receptionist was very rude. I told her twice she is the face of the business and if they want people, start acting like you have customer skill. She flat out told me that I was lucky to be a patient or this call would of ended. When I see Dr. Oliver I am going to let him hear the recording and if he doesn't respond to my liking, he can find another client. Dr. Wolf would never have allowed these people in those positions. I wish I could give 10 stars. Our vet (Dr. Oliver) is the best, most caring, and kindest we could wish for. Our male Shih Tzu had an ear infection and not only were we able to be seen immediately, but Dr. Oliver called a couple days later to check up on him. I wish all vets were as attentive. Also, in this time of covid Dr. Oliver kept his clinic open with minimal disruptions. We have 2 young dogs which needed to be seen somewhat regularly (yearly check ups, etc.) and we were always able to be seen. Our questions were always answered and our pets were treated with the greatest respect as was I. The staff is wonderful and are always happy to see us. HIGHEST recommendation! read more

He tells you exactly what needs to be done and always keeps the worried pet parent informed and answers any questions you might have. This is an updated review. I thought this place was good and have previously given a good review but times have changed. I have moved out of state and need long term care for my pet. My new vet is pretty cool but HRPC is refusing to send the records over. I don't know why they are acting like a spoiled child, not giving up what they think is there's. I can't afford to get all the tests and X-rays done again. HRPC wouldn't be getting my business again because of my move but now I'm gonna tell y'all and all my friends to not give them your business either. Shame on them for making my dog suffer needlessly while she goes through more tests just to get the same diagnosis. read more

My 3 dogs mean everything to me and I really appreciate the time and attention this clinic gives me and my 3 animals everyone we come. We just moved to Gilbert from California and were in search of a vet. Someone referred HRPC. I am sooo very happy with them. The costs are average. But you get SUCH a great attention. We brought 2/3 of our dogs here this week. One for chronic ear infections and gland expression and our old guy for a well check up. Dr graham and her staff are so kind and thorough. I really liked our old vet (we were with them for 6 years) however I noticed a huge difference in our pups behavior with Dr. Graham and her staff. They are the puppy whisperers. I have been here several times, but in my time of need when my pet is not feeling well, I have twice now been told there are no openings for a week. No accommodations have been offered on either occasion and so they are no longer my vet. As far as the practice, they are companionate and do a good job checking in with you after they see you, however due to them leaving me in a bad position twice now, I can not recommend them. read more

They're humorous and empathetic. When my dog had to be put down, they sent us a condolences card. I can say that they entire group feels like my extended family. Dr Oliver is top notch in my view. Doesn't request tests that are not needed or over charge for services. My only issue is that getting the appointment in the near future is impossible. They may be booked up often, but they're worth the wait! Dr. Graham is a wonderful lady who helped me when my dog was diagnosed with distemper, she was helpful and caring. Dr. Graham would call often to ask how she was doing, and ask if we needed anything. She pulled through, and every time we go in to see Dr. Oliver she always asks how she's doing! When my parents dog was nearing the end of her life, she made sure we were comfortable and educated us on exactly what was going to happen. Our newest puppy has been seeing Dr. Oliver, and he loves him! So do we! He's a great guy and is also very caring. I can't recommend either of them enough. They NEVER try and push anyone to spend more money than needed. They've also squeezed us in last minute several times, and I am so thankful for that. Dr. Sam and his staff are the best in the biz! They have been my main vet for my dog Hurley since day one! With shots and a run in with a nasty sickness that almost took his life, they were concerned the whole way through. When Hurley (my golden doodle) got sick they were there to help him and me get back to normal. Dr. Sam is always very helpful when it comes to be cost conscious, which is a huge plus. To help cut down on cost they instructed me on how I could give my dog fluids at home to save money on coming in every day that week.
