Recently moved and needed to find a new vet for my 2 French bulldogs. After their first initial visit I really was put off with the vibe of this office and how it seems they really want to upsell you on everything. They really pressure you to do all sort of extra procedures or lab work on 2 healthy dogs. They will literally suggest everything under the sun. During the exam it was brought to my attention that my dog had a chipped tooth and they recommended a tooth extraction. For that one procedure I was quoted about 1250.00 for that one. I really don't like that when they do their vaccines they don't administer it in the room with you. It makes the appointment that much longer when you have 2 dogs and they take turns bringing them back. The thing that made me decide to not go back was the when the vet and the vet technician totally missed something that was so simple. One of my dogs back nails had grown longer than we had expected and that when I took him to get bathed and pretty a couple weeks after this exam took place we realized that a nail was moving into his paw pad. There is a pretty good chance had this been caught by this office my dog possibly could've avoided pain and needing a procedure done to correct it. I feel like as it was a mistake done by this office and staff the least they could've done would've been to apologize and acknowledge their mistake. For having to get this taken care of it needed another appointment and of course more money in their pockets. It really seems the only thing this office cares about is how to get as much money out of your wallet and less about your dogs health. As I checked out I explained that I wouldn't be coming back because of my experience. I wasn't rude I didn't yell. Simply stated because of the lack of acknowledging their mistake and that they missed something that is so simple makes you wonder what type of care they really do provide. They could've cared less. Well I laughed when I opened my mail today that they sent me a letter saying I wasn't welcomed at their office anymore because I voiced my displeasure. . I don't trust them with my dog's health I would definitely think twice about coming to this office. Also not a fan that they prefer you to pay cash and if you use a debit or credit card they charge you a 3 percent fee. . Now some may say it's my fault for letting my dogs nails get so long. In some ways yes it is. In my defense I had no idea they were that long as I thought they had been trimmed when I had my dog taken care of 3 months prior but I'm guessing they didn't do a very good job and it was his hind paw. I'm always playing with their front paws and I did not see the back nail. Thanks for reading my very long story.

Our dog Boomer has been treated very well by Crosswinds. The reason for our update is that he recently crossed after a cancer diagnosis. We were informed there was a timeline attached when we received it and the front desk/vets were patient with me when I had questions or concerns. We had Boomer for almost 13 years and I know I must have been driving them crazy with my calls. They helped us work through various meds until it was time. We are on our final dog for awhile but we know she is in good hands.

After Dr Martin saved our cat's life, and the staff was amazing to us.. we didn't hesitate to refer our friends with a new puppy. We are now undergoing the toughest time with our beloved boxer, and Cross Winds Animal Clinic is helping us with so much compassion. Not only do they give Rio special attention, but they are perceptive and informed on treatment options. Our goal is to extend her life as long as she is happy and pain free... the office and vet techs along with the doctors are kind and helpful - they listen and support us while we try some natural treatments along with steroids, and they call and check up on our pets. They do their best to understand cost restraints and their fees are reasonable. I feel like I have good friends, not just trusted veterinary services. Night and day from our old vet.

Just brought my cat here to be shaved and I couldn't be happier. I was super concerned with how my cat would do and I haven't brought her to a vet in years. The staff was super attentive, kind, and sweet to my cat. Unlike other vets, they encouraged me NOT to spend all the extra money to have her groomed under sedation and we're confident they could get it done with no anesthesia. They informed me my cat was totally overweight in the nicest way possible. I was honestly shocked as I just thought she was a naturally big cat. They told me she should be able to clean herself and she should never have to be groomed, she's just too overweight. They were honest and very understanding with their delivery of this information. They told me they were going to shave her a little bit at a time and give her a rest in between each shave. They told me it would be no extra cost to keep her there longer for this method. I left my cat there and they called me within 30 min to let me know she was totally done and she did just fine with them! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest and attentive vet. You can really tell they all love animals!

We were greeted with our names and friendly smiles, right when we walked in. Didn't feel like a first visit at all more like we had been going there for years. The tech was great with our dog and Dr. Martin was wonderful. He sat on the floor with our boy as he did his exam, which I really appreciated. Everything was thorough, and well explained. There was no pushy up sales and fees were reasonable. Office and rooms were clean and neat. We're very happy we found Cross Winds.

Making the decision to let her go was the most difficult thing we've ever had to do. Dr. Emma Houlton and her entire staff were absolutely incredible. I wouldn't have wanted any other vet there caring for her -- I knew she was safe and in the best hands despite the heartbreak of the situation. Dr. Houlton is the stellar, most perfect example of everything you want in a vet. She's an amazing person and an incredible doctor. If you need a vet, bring your pet to her. She is truly wonderful.

I was asked to authorize or decline CPR and an intensive care evaluation. We authorized the evaluation but not CPR. A little while later the vet came to let us know what the evaluation showed and she was so thorough and kind, explained the possible causes of seizures and potential treatment plans. They kept our pup overnight to monitor for more seizures, give her IV fluids, etc. We brought her home today. I have a medical background and I found the care was excellent, appropriate and the communication was great. I received 3 calls from the various vets on duty and each time they were informative and kind. My regular vet had already been notified within about 12 hours of admission and they called to check on us. The only hesitation of have is the cost of services. It seems very expensive. Medication that they provided when we took the pup home cost $62.38 for 30 pills. The price for 120 tabs from Chewy is $25.08. I understand the cost of intensive/ER services is exorbitant in general but $2000 for a 24 hour visit is something that many people can not afford.

IT'S A MONEY GRAB FOR POOR CARE…read more My longtime vet retired, and I was referred to Oasis and Dr. Tenney (who was excellent), only to find he was retiring too. Since then, every experience at this clinic has been poor. My most recent visit (June 2026) was for my 5‑month‑old puppy with clear UTI symptoms: blood in urine, straining, one episode of vomiting/soft stool. I requested a urinalysis. Dr. Cailey O'Donnell examined her, agreed she looked healthy, then suddenly pushed a long list of tests and meds--fecal test, bloodwork, X‑rays, probiotics, anti‑vomit meds--before even seeing the urinalysis results. I declined and asked to wait. Twenty minutes later Dr.O'Donnell rushed in saying, "She doesn't have a UTI, she has crystals and needs prescription food for life." This made no sense--especially for a puppy with a first‑time issue. My questions were met with rapid, dismissive explanations about pH levels and diet. Both times I asked about antibiotics for the bloody, frequent urination, I was ignored. She left again, and the rest of the visit consisted of the tech going to the back SIX separate times because the doctor wouldn't return to answer basic questions as -why I was being given adult prescription food for a puppy and answered with, "because that's what they had in stock". After two hours of this chaos & no actual resolution to the blood in her urine, I left with the food, food perscription a bunch of 'just in case' gastro-meds' in hand & no antibiotics. The visit cost $406. Back home, my puppy urinated dark blood and continued straining in misery. I had no choice but to give her leftover antibiotics from my recently deceased dog and booked a next‑day appointment elsewhere. When I re-read the Oasis urinalysis that Dr, O'Donnell handed me herself, it clearly stated my puppy had a UTI and her pH was normal. She it read incorrectly. The second clinic confirmed the findings on the Oasis's report after I asked them to run their own since Oasis had also made an error & ran theirs twice. The analysis showed the "crystals" were minimal and typical of a UTI. That visit cost another $325 because I couldn't rely on Oasis's diagnosis. Sadly, this wasn't my only bad experience in under a year: 1. Vet 1 - Early on, our puppy had frequent urination issues. Upon a visual visual check, Oasis ruled out a UTI without doing a urinalysis--just a late‑day urine concentration test that came back diuted (of which would be the norm at that time of day) but the Vet raised concern-($100). We were told to collect a early morning sample for a second test that came back in range. ($100). When we asked if the frequency was normal for a young female or a concern, the vet shrugged and said, "Could be." A month later, our puppy has a severe UTI. 2. Vet - 2 My cat had a lump, but the vet ws more focused on selling vaccines instead of examining the lump. When question she breezed passed it saying it was normal. Forr cats, lumps are not. I had to go elsewhere--paid twice. 3. Vet 3 - When my 7‑year‑old dog suddenly developed bloody stool and severe leg swelling, I couldn't get an Oasis vet to speak with me during eight hours in the ER or the two ER visits that followed. My dog was ultimately diagnosed with IMT(bleeding disorder) and dying. I need to speak with someone I was familiar with. Oasis didn't call until day three--after I had already made every heartbreaking decision alone & confirmed 'I as doing the right thing'. After caring for 6 dogs and 7 cats, I know the basics of animal care. These animals are family. They deserve competent, empathetic care--not upsells, rushed explanations, misread test results & avoidance. I don't need a fancy lobby or free drinks. I need vets, rather ONE vet who knows my pets history & is knowledgeable, honest, and respectful. Oasis is no longer that. I strongly recommend going elsewhere.
