Never sending my dog again. After our "assessment," Kyle yanked my dog's neck multiple times and…read moremade her shriek in pain. She came home in shock and growled at our other dog (who she loves and has never previously growled at). Whatever they did during the day together, she was affected quite negatively. From a business standpoint, Kyle gives 30 minute lectures filled with analogies that make no sense. Also, 4:40 pickup means 5:30 apparently.

My husband and I have a very anxious, neurotic (and handsome) doggo. He's highly dog reactive and…read moreenergetic and has a troubled past. We've tried several trainers and boarding facilities in various cities and states. We even resorted to trying a famous YouTube trainer and he came back worse and even more anxious. Typically, these expensive "board and trains" we've participated in have ended with medication recommendations and a "good luck". One final trainer recommended we try Mind Of Dog because she also wasn't able to break through. I'm so grateful we did. He's thriving and comes home exhausted. An added bonus is the people training we've received. The best part of all of it, is that he's finally getting the exercise and structure he's always needed and deserves. They handle the dogs calmly, but with lots of structure and clear boundaries, which our dog desperately needs. We can finally go to work and travel without worrying that he's being mishandled or ignored. We're so grateful to have found this place and I have to admit, I was waiting for him to fail again, because we had lost all hope. I highly recommend that you give Mind Of Dog a shot, especially if you're in a similar position as we were. Thanks, Mind of Dog! Senna loves you all and is so grateful to be able to play with dogs without fear and anxiety.

We've been using Canine Concierge since just after they opened (mainly because of a bad experience…read moreat a kennel) and we would never consider another option for our dogs. It's important to us to be able to have the dogs stay at home when we're away so having someone come to the house is absolutely incredible. Lauren and her staff have always been great with our dogs and even when something hasn't 'gone well' (let's just say intestinal distress) they've been great about cleaning up and contacting us. It's also great that since they come to our house instead of boarding the dogs we kind of get a built in house sitter too-not that there's any reason to break in (besides, the dogs would love a chance to sic balls). If you're tired of boarding your dogs and live in the Morris County area I wholeheartedly recommend Canine Concierge. Your pets will be well cared for and won't be so stressed when you come home. I envy Lauren and her business...sometimes I wish I could spend each day just taking care of dogs...

We found Lauren and could NOT be happier with her service!! Updates daily, our Joey got to play and go on walks every day, we were afraid he wouldn't want to come home! I would recommend Lauren and Canine Concierge to anyone. Please note she prefers smaller dogs (under 35-40 lbs) but she is very amenable and flexible.

I would give MORE stars if it were possible. Deb walked / ran my dog Jagger for almost 3 years…read moreuntil I moved away, and my brothers dog Sunshine before she passed away and what can I say - Deb is simply amazing and sets the bar very high for pet care. 1. She communicates via text and let's you know what time she's coming every single day. 2. Several more texts of your dog during their time together, and a report at the end of the experience - every single time. 3. She double leashes and harnesses the dog. 4. akes the time to train the dog to walk/run with her, 5. if it's inclement weather she puts a rainjacket on the dog 6. and dries him when they return to the house! 7. Her rates are reasonable, 8. The dogs LOVE her. 9. She makes wholesome, home-made treats to boot. I'm moving and wish she would travel with. If you need a trustworthy, caring, fun, knowledgeable, quality care for your pet - you don't need to go any furhter. Contact Deb.

But Deborah scheduled an introduction and outlined her process is such passionate detail that I never felt uncomfortable... Not even for a second.. She bakes and cooks homemade pet treats that are all natural, she even grew cat grass and cat friendly plants to give my indoor cat the feeling and smells of all natural greenery.. She is going back soon and I know she will love it. The owner is fabulous and also has her masters degree in Animal Behavior. Would HIGHLY recommend for people that have great dogs but don't crate them and love the idea of running outside and being able to have a big dog sleepover each night.

I took my dog here only because it was recommended. I have an 8 year old Aussie (boy dog named…read moreSasha) who I have never boarded or left at any type of dog daycare. I've always been hesitant to leave my dog off with a stranger. Especially since I know that my dog is a bit anxious when left with new people (even for a few minutes). He has only ever stayed with my parents and siblings. When I got there, it was a fenced in house with a lake and a lot of space. Gabbie met my dog first before introducing him to any other dogs. She asked us questions, and we explained Sasha's personality. She then introduced our dog to her dog, and observed their energy. Then she brought out one dog at a time until all dogs were out and were able to meet my dog. This gave me a good feeling, because she obviously knew what she was doing. It was not a place where my dog was put in a cage, but a place where he was part of a group. When I left he gave me the you-are-abandoning-me look. I am not the type of person to really worry, but it was great that a few hours later, i got a message from Gabbie saying my dog had settled in nicely. She sent me a picture of him, and when i checked the next day, she had dozens of pictures of the activities all the dogs did for the day. At that point I knew my dog probably already forgot who i was and was having the time of his life. I picked him up 2 days later, and he came out like if he owned the place. He came out with his head up, a smile one his face, and a tail that wagged 100 wags/second. I would recommend this place to anyone. Sasha will be back this month!
