We immediately felt comfortable with him and knew he would do as he says. He gave us some referrals and they all had great things to say about him so we knew we had to sign him asap. We also knew we would be out some weeks and we work during the days so we needed someone we could trust to hold the key to our house. We have cameras so we knew he would double check doors. So you can rest assure he is trustworthy. We weren't wrong, Tyler completed the job faster than his initial quote and sometimes he was the only one working too. He is one the most hard working guys I have ever met. We worry because contractors have a bad reputation for just not showing up. Another great thing I found about Tyler was his "perfectionist". I am OCD and I am glad to have found someone who could appreciate straight lines. And at times when I see something that seems off, even before I say anything, he would have already seen it and fixed it. He makes sure he reviews his' guys work and I like that about him. I obviously am no expert in home remodel but he walked me through (patiently) a lot of better solutions for what I wanted and we always came out with the things I wanted in the way it should be done. He also wasn't judgemental about my ideas, I know homeowners have weird/wild ideas and we just want them done :) He just wants to make us happy is what he always says. We had a kitchen and 2 bathrooms done and we couldn't be happier. Because we were so happy with the progress and the kitchen that we ended up having him repaint most of the rooms and re-do all the window and door frames. And with regards to payment, he is very good at math and his costs are all reasonable. He will not scam you on anything. And his memory is so good that he doesn't forget what he quoted you for. One advice for homeowners though, make sure you have an idea of what you want. It is easier that way so that you do not have to keep redoing things. If you are unsure, check his pics for ideas or go to pinterest or magazines. Be patient in finding what you love so that you end up with your dream house/room. I am very hands-on and afraid of regret so I did go to so many stores to look at models, tiles, paints, furnitures, websites, etc. It took forever but we ended up with what we really wanted. No regrets. Tyler is a keeper! And so is his 80's rock station. I interviewed 12 GCs before I decided to hire Robert as Robert showed more responsive, honest, and a higher availability during my timeframe. The quote Robert gave is in the lower middle range among other licensed GCs. We wanted the job done within 3month in summer as our kids will be back to school. Most licensed GCs quoted more time (3-4month) to finish the job and at a higher price. While Robert did the job well within our timeframe and budget. Upon started the project, Robert and his crew were onsite every day and worked diligently. During the work, I asked some more works beyond the original quote, e.g, wall insulation, crown molding, etc. The price Robert gave me was reasonable and transparent. Work quality is good as the city inspections passed along the project, and the final inspection passed the first time.

He hires other contractors for specialized tasks such as plumbing, roofing, electrical etc where he feels the need. I also noticed that he and his employees is very punctual. He and his crew work 7.30am to 3-4pm. They are very hardworking people. I can't stress enough that he is very honest and not greedy at all like many other contractors I have worked with in past. My project was of decent budget. He never demanded any money upfront and not even a deposit before starting the work. I was surprised to find out that Bob wasn't on Yelp, especially after meeting him and seeing how professional, friendly and experienced he was. I had Bob replace seven leaking automatic valves and wow did he ever do a great job, fast, super clean, and I believe he went above and beyond by digging down to the main line and replacing it so that my verticals would be perfectly straight and leak resistant. I think his fee was reasonable for the 7 valves including relocating four of them about 3 feet so that they would be better positioned. He even gave me an official invoice which is great! He came back quickly the following week to help resolve a wiring issue when I asked him to. Overall great service and I will certainly be using him again.

He came out one day and spent about two hours prepping the surface. Roberto arrived on our agreed time the next morning and spent about nine hours completing the backsplash. We could not be more pleased! The backsplash is beautiful! Roberto was meticulous in cutting the tile to fit around the windows and shades. Initially, I was a little hesitant to hire Roberto, because he did not have any current Yelp reviews, but he told me he has been subbing out with one contractor for a few years and has recently decided to take jobs that are closer to home. He communicated with me every day about his schedule, what he needs in terms of supplies (not much), and next steps in the process. I did a cement tile counter top as I was inspired by a cement tile I found. It looks Moroccan or Mexican (white n grey graphic pattern). It's not conventional and I was expecting having a hard time finding anyone willing to take a chance and brainstorm with me. We designed a counter edge together using the tiles and talked about the best way to protect the tiles from damage over time. It turned out so good. He taught me how to seal it and left me supplies. He's just a wonderful person, professional, kind, fair, good eye for design, and best of all a good communicator and man of his word.
