We had a delicious appetizer here...the hot pepper jelly bread sticks. So good. The waiter was very nice and made recommendations. The dill pickle pizza was pretty good but maybe needed a little something. The caprese salad hit the mark although the tomatoes weren't quite in season. All in all, a good meal though. This place has a lot of seating, TVs and a bar. Clean restrooms too.

My husband and I went here and we got a gyro pizza! It was delicious! The server was very attentive, and the pizza came out within 10 minutes! The place was super cool, we would definitely come back! There was also plenty of parking. I would go out of my way to come back here again.

My fiancé and I came to Hill & Holler last night after a long road trip. We were immediately seated and it was nice finally relax! We started off with the Caesar salad which wasn't my favorite, the dressing was missing that rich, umami flavor to it. However, the meatball appetizer definitely made up for it. They were served in a dish over marinara sauce with melted cheese on top that had the amazing cheese pull to it! Finally we finished the night with the forager pizza and I would definitely recommend! Even my fiancé that isn't a huge fan of mushrooms liked it! It was thin crust with a garlic base and we devoured it! The vibe of this place is very cool, it's on Washington Street, right around the corner from Carnegie Hall if you want to check that out. We would highly recommend to friends/family visiting town!

The service here was great. Our server was Ms. Quincy was very polite and fast on her feet. Now the food was lipsmacking good wing it comes to their large wings.

The ambience was awesome. The waiter (Isaiah) was awesome. But the food? These pizzas are beyond excellent. 22 minutes from ordering until delivered at our table. This place is worth the stop.

So nice to see such a cute pizza place in Lewisburg that is also delicious. Came here after the Chocolate Festival, so understandably it was packed. We sat at the bar in the interest of time. The bartender was super apologetic about the wait, which I really didn't mind. We ordered a meatball appetizer and Margherita pizza - a perfect complement to all the sugar we had been eating. The bartender even gave me a tasting of their white chocolate raspberry cocktail- so good. Meatballs were massive and had good flavor, but a little lukewarm when being served to us, this is the only reason I took off a star. It wasn't worth sending back because it was so busy. Pizza was nice and crisp and full of sauce. A great place in the neighborhood and I would love to go back on a quieter day.

Loved this place. We had the smoked wings with sauce on the side and the gyro pizza. The beer selection is exceptional and the bartender was wonderful. Def stop here when you are in Lewisburg.

This is a place for great pizza, wings and salad. Service was a bit slow when we first arrived but it seemed that they had had a lot of parties and were trying to get them their bills and out of there. Once we ordered our food didn't take to long to come on out. For two people we shared a small salad, an order of 6 wings and one pizza. Their ranch was very good! All of the food was delicious and I would for sure come back if I was ever in the area! The place is like a rustic old cabin and is plenty large inside with a bar and a stage. There was even a gentleman singing on the Thursday night we were there dining.

But…read morethis time around I couldn't help it to discover why this place is the center of Roanoke's night life. After being awarded the Triad Yelper of the Year 2024 Award at the Yelpies Award Ceremony last year, an event that honored the highest-performing Yelp Elites, I decided that it would be appropriate this year to go back to this restaurant and write a follow-up review, since my initial review was one of my reviews that contributed to me obtaining this highly esteemed Award. I arrived on a Thursday evening with a 6:15pm reservation which I'm glad I had made because later I found out that this place gets to be a full house on Thursdays. A young lady host greeted and welcomed me at the Host's station as soon as I arrived. She checked my reservation and had my table all ready for me. Located in the middle of this very popular Restaurant Bar, gave me a nice view of the entire place, and with a light high above I had a perfect lighting to photograph my drink and food as part of my review of the place. My server Jillian arrived soon after I was seated. She had a wonderful personality and welcomed me with a friendly smile and very pleasant attitude. After answering me some questions about their Mocktails, I ended up ordering their Raspberry Burro. For dinner I ordered their BBQ Bacon Chicken Kababs with a side of their special fries and a salad. While I was waiting for my food to arrive I observed the place quickly filling up and I found out that tonight was Music Bingo and Live Music at 9:30pm with no cover charge. It brought me back to my college days in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts, where the night life was a thing to look forward to. Suddenly I discovered the key of Martin's popularity and the important role it plays in contributing to making the City of Roanoke a Star City indeed. I enjoyed my drink and the Chicken Kababs with the side of special fries were amazingly delicious, as well as the salad. They have a good variety of quality items on their menu and their chefs amazingly deliver. I invite you to read my first review where I celebrate their Cuban Sandwich and Slaw, and view my photographs that accompany my review. What a night. Besides the food, I enjoyed playing the Music Bingo, which one of the card titles was The 1970's. One of the best years of my life, when I attended High School in San Juan, Puerto Rico and College in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. During that time I also won a Saltwater Fishing Tournament at the young age of 17 by catching a 405 pound Blue Marlin off the coast of Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. It was the best of times for me. My server Jillian provided exceptional customer service, checking on me at the appropriate times. For dessert I ordered their Glazed Doughnut Bread Pudding, and it was so good, I can't wait to return to have it again. What an extraordinary dining experience I had that night. I highly recommend this restaurant and bar for when you feel like having a good time, alone or with family and good friends. I promise you will be able to sabor what a Five Star review is all about, and experience for yourselves why Martin's is one of the City of Roanoke's most precious gems.

I think where it really shines is the ambiance (note: I haven't been since February 2020, pre-COVID). The Milk Parlor has a really great casual, underground (literally) atmosphere, and they host lots of events during different nights of the week.
