The plumber came to my home and spent approximately 20 minutes inside. He told me his bidding app was not working and said he would go back to the office and email the estimate to me. I took him at his word. The next day, when I called because I still had not received the bid, I was told that he "didn't even want to come in the house because there were too many plumbers." That statement is simply not consistent with what happened. There were NO other plumbers at my house when he arrived. He came inside, spent about 20 minutes here, and specifically told me he would send the estimate after returning to the office. If the company did not want the job or did not intend to provide a bid, they should have simply said so. Instead, I was given one explanation in person and a completely different explanation the next day. I find this kind of communication unprofessional, misleading, and a waste of my time. I was only trying to follow my insurance company's instructions and obtain the required three bids. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. A professional company should be able to communicate honestly and stand behind what its employees tell customers.
