Knowing you have a solid, reputable contractor by a huge group of the YELP community takes a lot of that anxiety away. I researched Bear here on Yelp & the company was even BETTER than the 5 star reviews. I had overslept due to said anxiety keeping me up until 4am the night before. They waited for me patiently when I didn't answer the door, didn't answer the phone, or respond the text. I was KNOCKED OUT & didn't hear my 5 alarms! I did however hear my cat HOWLING telling me, WOMAN GET YOUR #### UP! Bear Could have easily just left. I had been holding off on getting these things done due to said anxiety so going thru finding someone else & scheduling again would have been pure horror for me. I am so grateful they were EARLY & had some extra time to wait for me. I also had a big event (Yelpies) the same day so I was so concerned about being late but Bear was 15 mins early which to them is how they operate. They had my 8 requests we aligned on up & memorized. They have a process & the output is QUALITY and beating customer expectations. I promise you this company will beat your expectations. If you are curious what they did for me, below is my list: 1. Take down a pendant light & put back up std light / cover 2. Check Fluorescent lights where light bulbs changed but won't come on; fuse may need changed (Garage & Laundry Rm) 4. We hired Austin's Texas Electrical Services of Austin (TECL #29127). One part of this was…read moreinstalling an outdoor outlet, which requires running a conduit. For this they used a flex conduit and to hold the flex conduit outdoor-rated fasteners need to be used. This was clearly not the case, as there is corrosion and rust clearly visible on the fasteners that were used to hold the conduit (see pictures). I'm sure of this because we also had conduit installed by another electrical contractor for another purpose on a similar exterior wall on the other side of the house that has zero corrosion on it. I reached out to them several times over the span of 4 weeks regarding this, and didn't hear back once. I also specifically remember that the person sent out to do the work was very rude and difficult to work with. This was particularly relevant for hanging a chandelier, since it ended up crooked and he didn't ask for feedback until after he had already taken down his scaffolding, and wasn't willing to put it back up. So to this day we still have a misaligned chandelier. Cost isn't all that matters. For what this level of quality you're better off either learning to DIY, or paying more to hire a better company if you want everything done right and good customer service.

When they were in the attic running the wire down the wall to the circuit box, for some reason they had a issue getting the wire down the wall. Whatever tool they used cracked the drywall directly on the other side of the wire. It was a pain having the drywall fixed. I had to remove my TV for the dry wall guy, take time off of work, and have the whole wall painted so it would blend in and not look like a patch job. The owner said he would reimburse me for the bill for the repair. I sent him a copy of what I paid the drywall guy but he has not gotten back to me. It is very hard to contact this company, if you call you will find you always get voicemail. I should of known better. Very dishonest company, I would stay far away from these guys even for a simple job like mine. Update 1: The owner texted me to let me know he intends to reimburse me but he has just been to busy. It's been over a week and I have not gotten any refund, so I feel there is dishonesty in this. Update 2: The owner never reimbursed me. As I suspected, he was lying. I lost quite a bit of money for a relatively simple job. If only I chose another company.

All were prompt in their responses and provided well written proposals. Only Grayzer included the cost of a permit in their proposal. Further a friend had their wall panel upgraded and their Tesla Wall Connector installed by Grayzier and recommended them highly. After looking at the reviews for the different certified installers, and given that a permit is required in my town to install an EV charger, I went with Grayzer. They provided a date and service window ( a week in advance of my appointment ) and the electrician, Max, pinged me about an hour prior to his arrival. I showed Max my ideal location for the Tesla Wall Connector and he was able to accommodate without having to cut away any drywall or running conduit outside the wall ( YMMV ). Very friendly, professional and knowledgable. He took the information/pictures required by Tesla and by my town's permitting authority, commissioned the Wall Connector, showed my how to add it to the Tesla Application on my iPhone and verified that it was charging at the specified rate (48 amps). He was happy to answer any questions I might have, and I am just delighted by the service and work done. I would recommend highly to friends, neighbors, et al. All in all, quick, fast, efficient, and professional. Cleaned up work area when done. Thank you!

I recently had a scheduled quarterly inspection from another company on a Friday. I won't go into details except to say the aerobic system was not functioning correctly and there was a risk of waste coming back into my house. That is a scary situation. :-O The company told me they couldn't do anything until the following Monday, and because of several personal issues checking into a hotel for the weekend was not an option. After calling over a dozen companies well zero success and no options for any type of resolution, Orlando called me back right at COB. I explained the situation and my concerns to him (e.g., definitely the need to at least flush a toilet over the weekend). Orlando was very attentive to my needs and went absolutely above and beyond what any small business owner would normally be willing to do. He voluntarily came to my property and did a small "fix" to at least get me through the weekend until the system could be repaired. And he did it out of the kindness of his heart (no charge). Turns out we're actually almost neighbors. Sooooooo, on a Friday after business hours, after working a long full week, Orlando literally saved me both from possible hazardous waste flooding my house and the unnecessary additional anxiety that frankly I can't currently handle. So, I called local! Missy was AWESOME and Seth came out, bypassed the float and showed that the pump wasn't bad - the float was! Our sump tank stopped working during the most recent ice/arctic event. The roads were bad! The owner, Jacob arrived and diagnosed/took care of problem. Two addition plumbers helped out. All were very knowledgeable and professional. We have used their services for the sump tank for several years. Great company! First time using Lantz's. Chris and Toby were efficient, friendly and professional. I was called 30' before they arrived and was also sent a picture of Chris for ID/security purposes. When my husband came home, Chris noticed he was wearing his Marine Corps cap, thanked him for his service, and gave us the 10% discount, which we did not even know about. Both of our kitchen sinks backed up on a Saturday night and after calling a few plumbers in the Lago Vista area with no positive responses I spoke with Jarrod at Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing. Who knows and playing around with plumbing often doesn't turn out so well if you don't know what you're doing I highly recommend them. They did a great job and were in and out.

My issues started in April 2024 with a faulty tankless water heater installation, one of their own technicians later told me the crew had failed to install all required parts. That crew was subsequently laid off. Water was dripping from the exterior pipe and pushing into the attic. After significant back-and-forth, the symptoms were addressed, but the root installation failures were never formally resolved. During my Fall 2025 HVAC tune-up, a technician identified that the supply plenum from my original 2021 HVAC installation was undersized and improperly installed, something never flagged in any prior Green Leaf service visit. I followed up by email requesting next steps and never received a response. A year later, they were quoting me over $4,000 to fix an installation error that their own team had been servicing around for years without disclosing. The most serious issue involved my HVAC coil. In Spring 2026, my refrigerant was found to be low. Rather than immediately discussing a potential warranty claim on the coil, which would have been the right call, Green Leaf charged me for a refrigerant refill and pushed a $300 diagnostic fee. After weeks of back-and-forth, a UV dye test confirmed a visible leak at the top of the indoor coil. By then, Green Leaf had already terminated the business relationship and refused further service. At no point did anyone at Green Leaf ever mention that a coil replacement might be covered under warranty. They collected their charges, ran the clock out with delayed diagnostics, and walked away once the leak was confirmed. The one genuine bright spot was former Office Manager Michelle Lewis, who was consistently professional and communicative. The contrast between her service and what I experienced from General Manager Thos Graham, who shifted terms between emails and ended the relationship when I asked reasonable clarifying questions, was significant. I paid every invoice in full, renewed my membership, and gave Green Leaf every opportunity to make things right. What I got in return was a company that prioritized its billing over my best interests. Find a different HVAC and plumbing company!

I was shocked when they quoted over $2,900 to replace the 50 gallon gas water heater in my garage. I asked them to break down the materials and labor cost, and they claim they didn't know it. I then asked them to submit a quote, and they drove off and didn't even do that. After that, I quoted the project on Yelp and found several plumbers able to do it in the $1, 900 range. I would strongly suggest that you get a written quote from this company has early as possible so as not to waste anybody's time.
