Doesn't deliver to apartments, I was looking forward to ordering water from this location but then i see they do not deliver to apartments.

We have used other water delivery companies before and they were not as affordable and reliable as Hill Country Springs. We have our service guide for the year and they are always here when scheduled and their couriers are friendly and nice. They send reminders the day before delivery which is helpful in case you forget. Glad we made the switch! read more

I am impressed with this service. I saw the delivery man in our parking lot servicing another company. I asked him questions and he got me set up right then and there. Super easy. They gave me 5 free 5 gallon water jugs including some SUPER tasty PH balanced Alkaline water. I called to finish setting up and the woman at the office was very helpful and friendly. Fantastic customer service, easy to sign up and manage your account, affordable, great product, and makes my life as an office manager much easier! The water is good but it is sold in a clear plastic caddy that cannot be poured with one hand. I need distilled water to rinse CPAP machine parts. A container similar to gallon milk cartons is better and available in other brands. read more

Not recommended for any businesses. Horrible, horrible customer service. Our cooler broke down on a Tuesday. Our driver told me he would stop by on Thursday. Thursday comes, he does not show up, so I call the office. The driver finally calls me and says he's in another city. He offered to come Friday, I agreed and gave him my personal number. He called the wrong number. I asked for him to come on Monday and I was told this was the day reserved for new clients (lol what about your EXISTING clients?). When I called the office to mention he never called on Friday, Kelly said she would give me a call back. Guess what never happened. Don't give this company your money. They care more about new clients rather than established clients. A week after my initial call, I finally told them to pick up their broken machine and water bottles. Dealt with this company for about 4 years. Great product but....as I see from other reviews, they are in dire need of new office staff. Beware of their methods of leaving water when not needed ( we got charged over $17.49 for one bottle) And now as we are moving out of the area, I am doubtful of getting back the deposits on all the bottles as they are now saying we owe them for water that we asked to be returned. It's only 20 bucks but they have deceptive practices and so be aware. I don't leave many reviews but thought of how many people they must do this to. read more

We've been a customer of this company for about 7 years now and are extremely pleased with the home water delivery and customer service. We recently requested to have our cooler replaced and the staff took care of it right away. The first replacement cooler wasn't a very good one so the delivery driver made sure we received a better model within a few days. IMPORTANT NOTE: I drink ONLY their spring water, which had been chlorinated (but at least it is with the chlorine that dissipates and disappears, unlike the chloramine now used in Austin tap water which never goes away!). I would not recommend their "drinking water" and reserve judgement on the distilled, but continue to believe that SPRING water is the only way to go and distilled only if there is no spring water. If I did have to resort to distilled I would definitely add some minerals to it, such as a little bit of good quality salt such as Himalayan salt. Not enough to make the water taste salty though~! OLD REVIEW (when I gave them 1 star) : I really don't like to give a 1-star rating to ANY business, but in this case I feel I must because they are PREJUDICED -- against anyone who lives in an apartment. As of a couple years ago they will NOT deliver water to you if you are "trash" that lives in an apartment building. I really wanted their water. I tried to make them happy. I offered to pay them two weeks in advance. I offered to have their driver deliver to the apartment's management office (which is on the first floor). I got an unapologetic NO. I find this unnecessary and unkind -- especially since water is a NECESSITY for life. It is just as bad as being racist in my view. They DO still deliver to people in apartments who have been their customers since before they changed their policy. And oftentimes, from what I gather, they do not always outright admit that they will not deliver to you because you are in an apartment. Instead they will check your credit rating and then tell you that you don't meet up to their standards. Poppycock. No one in an apartment meets their standards. UPDATE: I have been living the past few years in a place that is not technically apartments and they deliver to me. I still don't like their attitude toward apartment dwellers, but I have been very satisfied with their water quality and with their service, so I have upped my rating to 3 stars. (I also have hopes that once I move to apartments again they will continue to deliver to me since I will have had a years-long history with them.) read more

Switched water delivery services from a national service to a local service. Water quality is just as good, though customer service outpaces the national company quite easily. Customer service representatives are polite and able to resolve difficulties, though they aren't really difficulties. More like, "hey, thanks for the email reminder, but I don't need a delivery this week." Like so many of us working from home and juggling various tasks in our head, I don't always remember to call and cancel the delivery. In steps Adam, my water delivery guy. He sends a text the evening before delivery, reminding me to put bottles out. Then I remember I forgot to call the office. I respond to his text and just like that, water delivery is canceled. This company would leave bottles of water outside of our office, staff are extremely rude, and when you call to address these matters, they are quick to drop you as a customer. They lack true business ethics, customer service is non-existent, and on one documented occasion billed us because of their own mistakes. Not only have they wasted my time and money, but now I must call Sparklets back to setup new service. This should be an interesting phone call. When it comes to delivery, Mischa goes the extra mile. He sends a reminder text for delivery the next day and when I forget to put out my empties (oops) he checks in to see how many I need. Office staff is horrendous. My company moved location, so I phoned a month in advance of the move to update my location. They were rude to me then. A month later they delivered to the old location, so I called. They were insanely rude to me--then she found the note on the account proving I'd done my part--and was still rude to me. What happened next? She said "well get it sorted when we can" and HUNG UP on me. I called back, phone rang 10 times, and then a man picked up and MUMBLED INDISTINCT NONSENSE INTO THE PHONE until I hung up. My business used them for over a year. One month recently we were out of water for over two weeks. Called them 3 times and they wouldn't bring water. The office kept telling us they would restock but they never did. I finally just called another service to replace them and cancelled the service with hill country. They were supposed to come get their equipment but they came at lunch and everyone was away. Now they are trying to charge us for the equipment since they didn't pick it up. I've been using HCS for several years and it's not perfect but consistently good. Service has always been good, they correct any mistakes promptly, and they almost always call the day before with a reminder though they give you a yearly calendar so you can put it all into your smartphone. I use their spring water for all my drinking water and beer and kombucha brewing and they don't make you sign up for any contracts. I would recommend HCS. read more

This used to be a great company very reliable the delivery driver would be communicative and show up on schedule. But the company has gone way downhill in the last year or so. Missed deliveries, poor customer service, not returning emails or phone calls, and then missing deliveries when they PROMISE you they will be out the next day. The incompetence of this company is astounding. They provided us with a reverse osmosis water filter system. This cost $42.00 per month and once a year it was their responsibility to change the filters in the system. That proved to be a difficult task for them. They then decided to stop mailing invoices by mail and without notification they apparently proceeded to mail invoices to the wrong email address. When I noticed invoices were not arriving, I contacted them, but no answer. I assumed they had gone out of business, which of course made sense. Months later, I received a letter showing a very large open balance. After finally finding a person to communicate with I learned about the invoices being sent to the wrong email. It would have been the perfect opportunity for the Hill Country Springs representative to apologize for their incompetence! I shopped around and found the same system at Costco for $159.00. So now all that was left to do, was cancel the account and they would send someone out to disconnect their system. Even then, they managed to show more incompetence, as after they left with the equipment, we were left with a leaking sink and a major flood. Of course I contacted Hill Country Springs and it was the perfect opportunity for the final apology, but sadly that didn't happen. read more

Water tastes different from bottle to bottle. Sometimes its good, sometimes it tastes like tap water. We had a lot of trouble getting the right amount of water too. We needed 7 5-gallon bottles every two weeks and they told us that would be no problem but for some reason it never really happened. We either got way too many or not enough. At one point we had 20 5-gallon bottles in the garage. The people who answer the phone are super nice but the messages (either we had too much or not enough) never really seems to get to the delivery guy. It seemed like he would just drop off a random # of bottles. Everyone who works there was nice and polite, but I dont think the right hand knows what the left hand is doing in this company. read more
