He briefly explained to me what he did and what I have to do, which is basically nothing, except to call him if there's any problem or when the sediment filter has to be replaced next year. There's just one thing that I noticed. The cover for the water drain was missing. I'm not sure if the guys who worked on the water drain misplaced it I texted Adrian about it as soon as I noticed it was missing a few hours after he left, but I haven't heard back from him. Russell went out of his way to accommodate my time schedule and arrived early to check the system out so I could run up to Austin for a medical appointment. The softener was running correctly but the taste was still off. He recommended a whole house carbon filter as a solution. He explained the water company is probably adding more chlorine because it is a community well, which does leak and break often. I'm completely confident this will solve the taste issue. Not only was Russell prompt, but also courteous and highly professional, just as he was 6 years ago. On top of all this, this solution was very reasonably priced.
