When you need a septic "angel," Orlando to the rescue! In addition to professional and prompt service, the owner is truly one of the kindest humans I've had the pleasure to interact with. I recently had a scheduled quarterly inspection from another company on a Friday. I won't go into details except to say the aerobic system was not functioning correctly and there was a risk of waste coming back into my house. That is a scary situation. :-O The company told me they couldn't do anything until the following Monday, and because of several personal issues checking into a hotel for the weekend was not an option. After calling over a dozen companies well zero success and no options for any type of resolution, Orlando called me back right at COB. I explained the situation and my concerns to him (e.g., definitely the need to at least flush a toilet over the weekend). Orlando was very attentive to my needs and went absolutely above and beyond what any small business owner would normally be willing to do. He voluntarily came to my property and did a small "fix" to at least get me through the weekend until the system could be repaired. And he did it out of the kindness of his heart (no charge). Turns out we're actually almost neighbors. Sooooooo, on a Friday after business hours, after working a long full week, Orlando literally saved me both from possible hazardous waste flooding my house and the unnecessary additional anxiety that frankly I can't currently handle. After contacting several different septic companies that turned out to be flakey, Godinez Septics came through with a fast response. Godinez was also quick to come out, evaluate our issue, and provide a quote to repair our septic alarm and remove tree roots. I had an emergency with our septic tank as the cap failed and created a mini sinkhole. I called Godinez and was told they would try to get by that day. I was called back almost immediately that they were in the area and would be there in an hour. Pedro came by and diagnosed the problem and provided me options for the repair. Family legacy business, 2 young guys (I believe) taking over from dad. Not what you'd expect in the septic world... these guys are smart, polite, and very knowledgeable. I'd put them along the lines of "future business leaders of America" or some such. Orlando is articulate, informed, smart - and helpful. Brother Pedro (who came out to install risers in a 2-day service) also very nice, polite, and intelligent (and once the first duct was found, only took him 1-2 minutes to find the other - yeah, he's done this before). For such young guys, they are superb w/customer relations, and very well-spoken and well-experienced in the field. I had risers installed (up to "code" though not necessary) and the job was quick, thorough, and didn't rip up half my yard trying to find the lids. Very clean install. Pumping the next day went well - reasonable for my 1,250 gal. tank and no problems at all. Mail correspondence was answered quickly. Keep in mind that they service generally 25-mile radius w/in Lakeway - extra for farther (but might be worth it!). Also some slight delay in scheduling, largely out of their control (City had temp. closed the disposal site for the sludge). But nothing they could control was anything but great. After about 5 years with a conventional septic system, I decided it was time to have the pros look at it to see if anything needed proactive maintenance or just a basic pump service. I read a lot of reviews about the competition, called around to businesses and everything lead me back to Godinez Septics Inc. My call was answered quickly, I explained my need and I later received an email from Orlando, to setup a time for his technicians to come by and take a look. The following day, two technicians arrived, checked my system and gave an honest answer of "nothing needed at the moment". I fully expected the typical "this is broke", when it wasn't, or "you need this service" and I didn't. But, on the contrary, I got two honest technicians who advised that a pump service may be needed in another year or so. I received a follow up email from Orlando, the following day, summarizing the possible need in a year or so for the pump service and stating that he would set himself a reminder. The professionalism, honesty and great customer service will have me coming back, when I do indeed need septic services. These guys are total life savers, SO happy I found them on yelp. I've not had very good luck having the aerobic septic system at my rental property properly serviced and the guys with Godinez Septics came out and addressed the compressor alarm almost immediately (whereas the other company that had previously pumped the tank told me it would be at least 10 days till they could send someone out). Not only was their attention prompt, they continued to research the problem we were experiencing and recommend an awesome plumber when it appeared to be a leak coming from the house. We are relatively new to the septic tank situation. This was our first issue after the system went out of warranty 4 months ago. We were looking for a better service provider and are so pleased we found Godinez! My husband called a couple of businesses on Monday morning. The septic alarm went off on Friday and it never rest after restricting water use. We were able to get on their schedule for Thursday or Friday, but they were able to fit us in on Tuesday. I would recommend this company for septic repairs. I've dealt with several companies, including my system's original installer, and by far Godinez Septics was the most responsive. They found the problem, and quickly fixed it. Additionally, they even took a look at another component in the system and adjusted it to make sure it was in good working order. I've heard from others in my area that you have to be careful about which company you work with, otherwise repairs can be unnecessarily​ expensive. Hello yelpers, I do not give out five stars like penny candy. I guess I have given out my age. I have a daughter who lives in Austin and she had a misfortune of doing business with a general contractor who was far from ethical. Unknown to her or myself, they used shoddy equipment and apprentice workers in numerous instances in the general remodel which included a septic pump out system.The pump failed in about 15 months and we were out of "their" stated warranty. My daughter inquired from a friend of hers who knew this company. A phone call was made and her shheeeety problem soon became the Godinez boys problem. They listened to my anger concerning the re-modeler and came to do a FREE no questions asked service call. Yes, FREE. By the way did I mention that I was in PA talking to them asking many questions because my daughter was completely ignorant of how any of the components worked. Well I was completely satisfied with their answers. They explained that they would correct the new malfunctioning tank alarm(not hooked up correctly), remove and dispose of the wastewater. Test the new pump and float assembly and explain in a reasonable detail to my daughter the way it is supposed to work. The original pump was undersized and guess what "it was installed incorrectly". So they installed a higher hp pump and any connecting pipe that had to be replaced and did a current test on the new installation and made everything good The installer of the new pump was but 29 years of age but he knew what was supposed to be done and he did it. They even replaced the lid which was not the correct with one which they had and made it a properly sealed basin which you guessed it, it was not. In addition they were affordable by my standards and us old guys value a buck. By the way I gave my daughter an early birthday present since I paid for the re installation. So excuse me if you got tired reading this story because it is the truth and I am happy that she was referred to these guys. Oh I do have one complaint, being 73 my hearing is not the best, actually it is bad and the servicer talked to fast but so does my 30 year old son.
