He came out, spent a few minutes assessing, and told me straight up that low pressure is endemic to our neighborhood--no plumbing work can or should be done. Meanwhile, some of my neighbors had been sold replacement filters and various "fixes" by other plumbers for the same unfixable problem. The second time, we lost hot water. He responded to my call within minutes and asked me to text photos of the water heater. He diagnosed it via text, told me the fix, and I handled it myself. Seemed beyond excessive, so I spoke with the owner Bertin and asked for a time & materials rate. Lots of excuses, zero perspective. He wouldn't budge, so I declined service and did it myself. A slot screwdriver, hammer and needlenose pliers did the trick in 40 minutes (only took 10 minutes after I figured out what I was doing). Ask yourself if this is smart business: Tie up 2 hours of your plumber tech's time, multiple phone calls with dispatch/admin, a phone call with the owner, piss off a customer with reasonable objections that will never use your company again and get a 1-star online review. But when they last came out to fix a sprinkler head that was popped up they didn't run a full diagnostic on my entire system and wanted to charge me another labor fee of $175 / hour. I got a "discount" at $125 / hour because the technician was there for 14 minutes (by my ring doorbell calculations) but the "owner" went back and forth with me on the minutes of which he said the service took place. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this company to anyone and I am telling all the people who referred me to switch companies. Bad business.
