I swear I thought I reviewed this imaging center a couple years ago. Came here for ultrasounds to diagnose an ovarian cyst back in late 2021 and an MRI scan for further testing before I had surgery. The staff are patient and understanding for the most part, except I do remember when I was feeling nervous before the MRI scan... they were being a tad difficult about switching to the top of my hand for inserting the IV with contrast. Like I had plenty of visible veins on the top of my hand, it's not that tricky to switch areas for inserting the IV. I have really small veins in my forearm so I hate getting IVs inserted in there, especially having my blood drawn there, it's uncomfortable. And just the general icky feeling of getting a needle inserted there, no thanks lol. It's less painful/less uncomfortable to me to have IVs inserted into my hand. read more

The bathroom is filthy and this is the 2nd time in 2 months I have been to this facility and bathroom was unkept both times. I also want to add that using the Kiosk is a bummer and hard to use especially if you have lower vision. Last time I was here a gal was upset because the 2 gals behind the counter did not offer assistance. Who's running the show here? You used to be such a nice place. read more

Had a really good experience. Genie was so kind and explained the process to me. When I arrived I checked in at the kiosk and only waiting abt five min before I was called in. There is a changing room and a locker to put personal belongings. The actual process was only about 10 min and I was done. Very good experience and I'm glad I stopped stalling and got it done. read more

I just had to have an MRI, which was freaking me out a little because I am large and feel claustrophobic easily, and I had seen the machine at another place which looked a little cramped. Hill's machine was amazing! I had plenty of room inside and because the machine is so short, my head was actually part way out of the machine. I had headphones with music and the technician talked me through the thing as we were doing it. It was just a super easy experience. So if you need an MRI, this seems like a great place to do it. (I checked in ahead of time too, online, so there wasn't anything to do when I got there except sign one form, and they took me quickly even though I was early.) read more

I'm only writing to review their stupid automated/AI phone system. Otherwise, I've always had fantastic experiences with this imaging center - staff is great, and service is great! My GYN sent me for a specific procedure, but I had questions because her office told me I had to ask for a specific radiologist for the procedure she wanted me to have.....and the automated system kept saying "I know you'd prefer to speak to a real person, but I can help you with making an appointment or anything else". When I stated what I was calling for, the system kept replying "I can't help you with that. I can help you with making an appointment or anything else". It eventually hung up on me. While I understand automated systems help streamline and and allow staff to be more efficient and not sit on the phone all day, or take away from staff supporting patients and doing other work in office, EVERYTHING can't be automated. Now, I have to find time to go down here and physically ask my question because the automated system actually CAN'T answer the question I had when truly a simply phone call with a human would've sufficed, and that's quite aggravating. There's gotta be a middle ground between not being able to speak to a human AT ALL and allowing an automated system to support with efficiency. read more

Even on a day when I showed up 2 days early for my appointment (my mix-up), they were kind and helped get me schedule back on track. If there is any less than one star I would have given that to them. Waiting time is ridiculous, two hours for a stat X-ray order. Excuse me for not expecting to get sick and not making an appointment. They told me 45 min wait time. When I asked for a manager, I was told she's busy and that they made a mistake telling me 45 min. Bedside manner zero and quality of care zero !!! I have a PPO I should have gone to any other facility. Learn from mistakes. Thanks for your apology but it doesn't justify how your intake coordinator was rude and was on her cell phone while talking to me and your X-ray tech was short with poor bedside manners. I have been here several times for X-rays and CT scans. Front desk is very polite, professional and friendly. They are on top of things because they text and email me about scheduling appointments. All the technicians have been helpful and sympathetic to my fears of these tests especially when contrast is used as I am not a fan and I hate needles. I have always felt comfortable here. Huntington Hill in Glendora used to be my go-to imaging center, but it has gone completely downhill. They no longer perform diagnostic imaging or follow-ups, only basic screenings -- apparently for their own convenience, not the patients'. This change means that if your screening shows anything abnormal, you're suddenly on your own. You have to find another imaging center, schedule again, and then go through the frustrating process of transferring your previous results -- which is a huge hassle and delay for anyone needing timely medical care. It's extremely disappointing to see a place that once prioritized patient care now making things harder for people who actually need follow-up imaging. I will not be coming back and cannot recommend this center to anyone who values continuity, accessibility, or compassion in healthcare. read more

Horrible Virtual Assistant system!!! Specially when you know from the beginning of the phone call that the system will not be able to help you, you still have to go trhough the whole process... then when it tells you that it can not help, you get transferred to a live person and you have to repeat all the inoformation again. THEY DON't CARE ABOUT YOU! (Edit: I should clarify this is not specific to the Glendora location -- they have one central terrible scheduling phone number that covers all locations) Used to be great. Now just try to make an appointment and see how it goes. Wait times upward of 20 - 30 minutes. You're given a choice to schedule a callback BUT when you receive the call, it rings through and you are either just placed back into the main queue or you can hear the phone picked up and they hang up on you. Eventually, after numerous attempts, if the stars are aligned and you hold your magical amulet, you may finally be connected with a human. But if your physician sent a fax, they won't usually be able to find it until the following day. So save yourself the trouble and call the day AFTER the order is faxed. Or, even better, find a facility that cares about their patients. read more

The mammogram techs are great, including the front desk. Great customer service at the office. The downside is customer service phone line, to schedule and appointment or receive follow up information about your results. I got my mammogram early June and it's not July 1st and I have not received any information. I logged on to the patient portal and and can see a pdf report that does not launch. I called my primary Dr who says she has not received results. To get a live representative on the line is frustrating. I am hopeful someone will return my call. read more

Yearly mammogram At check in, I was met with a male who was friendly and explained what i needed to fill out etc. While sitting and waiting for my appt there was 2 woman at window 1 & 2 who were very loud and not speaking more softly and privately. They were discussing husbands and us patients don't need or want to hear that. We're there to address our health, and they should be more considerate and respectful for their patients. If I could give it negative stars I would. Got a stat slot due to my condition. I was visibly ill and staff did nothing to accommodate. I was cold sweating, vomiting and they could not be bothered. They could have kept me apprised of times, checked in and It could have all resolved with some kindness but no. Staff is obviously underpaid as they all seem unhappy and rude. If you have a PPO insurance find a better quality provider. I am looking to get in touch with their medical or facilities director. Easy to call scheduling and make an appointment. If you need to get in and get results fast make sure your doctors order reflects "stat." We were recommended to go to the Pasadena location by our orthopedic surgeon but due to availability were directed to Glendora instead. They were in-network for us (BCBS) but we did verify on the BCBS website as well. Needed a CT scan for my husbands elbow and all the staff were really nice and efficient. The only challenge was we waited for our CD in the lobby (amongst some others) and after about 25 minutes another lady went to the front saying she's been waiting and what do you know, all our CDs were sitting at the desk and no one came to drop them off to us or call our names! So we definitely wasted time there and it causes some frustration. Otherwise we appreciated their Covid safe protocols, clean and large waiting room, and friendly staff. read more

I waited over a month to get an appointment. Everything went smoothly during the visit. I was told I should hear my mammogram and ultrasound results within a week and a half to two weeks. It's now been five weeks and I have no results still. I've made several attempts to follow up. I received a call back saying they were going to reach out to try to get my results and I should have results in the portal by the end of the day if not the next day. Unfortunately, I wasn't on time for my appointment because of terrible traffic, and the receptionist said she'd have to reschedule me; when I mentioned this was a much-needed appointment and not a regular annual screening, she called the imaging people inside, and they stated I could stay and be seen. Still, it might be an hour or more. Although I was prepared to wait maybe an hour and a half to be seen, they called me back within 15-20 minutes. (Anxiety) They were very compassionate, didn't rush me to decide, told me the need to reschedule happens often. I have been having my mammograms done here for several years. My technician was very professional . However the website states you will get your results/ report quickly unlike other facilities. Usually this is the case in past years . It is now a month out and still waiting for results. I called to inquire and was told they were having difficulties getting needed Radiologist to read the mammograms . They should inform you of this fact when you call for your appointment so you can make an informed decision to wait that long for results or go to another facility. Doubt this just happened the week I had my test if they are a month behind getting readings. Next year I will definitely go to a different facility. read more
