Beware! Shady practice at this dealership. They will advertise a price online (in this case an NV200) but that is not the price. The new "cheat" is the concept of an addendum. The typical sham is to price out tint, "sealant" door guards, and other arbitrary things on the vehicle. Mind you most of the time these items are not yet on, they are just looking to upcharge. However at THIS dealer....the addendum was over $1,000 "just because" of supply and demand. Which, I'm fine with....but thats not the advertised price.....they reel you in with an advertised price and then hit you with this addendum when you get to the dealer. My son bought his first vehicle at this dealership. We saw it on the Internet. Casey was awesome we set an appointment. When we got there Casey lites us up with Spencer. Spencer answered all our questions made my son feel comfortable. He was answering all of his questions, went on a test drive. We came back to the dealership, Spencer made us feel at home, got us water. He came back with the numbers and we were in the fence and before leaving Mike the General Sales Manager came out to talk to us and he made the numbers work for my son. Oil change drama. Made a 4 pm appointment on line. Checked in on time and sat. And sat. And sat. One and a half hours later, the car was in the same location. It was 5:30 pm on a Friday and Never serviced. Asked for the keys back and was told we should never have been able to check in even though we had scheduled an appointment. Can't evaluate the quality of the oil change because they never serviced the car. read more

They cannot even get your name right because they do not take the time to actually read the inquiry before replying which tells me they really are not interested in earning your business. It's just one automated email after another without actually paying attention to detail. You're a number not a name, literally. Came to this car dealer cause I saw a commercial saying good Credit, bad credit or no credit they with work with our payment , so I brought my car 2019 KIA Optimal to trade it in for a 2020 Maxima Platinum. with my 719 Credit score they where trying to make me pay $150 over my payments that I have now, that was crazy and wouldn't work with me. Same day I went to another dealership and traded my car in for a 2020 Acura TL for just $50 more on my original payments for 4 years. I do not recommend this dealer at all. I drove an hour to visit them to see a used vehicle I was interested in. The vehicle was listed on their website along with pictures and a description. I had brief email and phone dialogue with their staff to arrange a visit. After arriving there I found out the vehicle was damaged and the damage was not shown and was conveniently just outside the limits of the pictures on the website and not referenced in the vehicle description. While walking to the car in the morning the salesperson said "I'm not sure if you saw the damage to the back of the car." Like I had ESP. That lets me know that if they can't be up front about a pic they can't be up front about other things. read more

Scheduled appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. In and out within an hour, that's a first time experience for me.

Took the Infiniti (Nissan product) to this dealership because there was a nail in the tire. Afraid this was a mistake. Greeted promptly and appropriately by Mr. Jithin Joseph. He said they'd be happy to tend to it and to have a seat in their waiting area. Nearly 3 hours later he told me they could not fix the tire and the vehicle would have to have a new one. I'm pretty certain nothing was done by a technician other than to look at the tire as neither the nail nor the tire had been removed. This is a "run-flat" tire. The nail was not in a sidewall nor particularly close. Mr. Joseph said they could order a new tire and it would be there the next day. I agreed and was told they would call me when it came in. I asked if I could make an appointment for the service after the long wait for a diagnosis and was told there was no need to do that. 2 days later I had not received a call but I showed up and the tire was there. So it was back to the waiting area and it was 2 and 50 minutes before the car was ready to go. I made several trips to the service area while waiting - on each of these times at the dealership - and every time it seemed the only person (there were 4 or 5 others sitting or standing around) who was apparently working was Mr. Joseph. He always assured me they'd be done soon. Once my vehicle was ready to go the bill was a few dollars shy of $400.00. This was the most expensive I found in the area after checking around. Of note is that on each visit there I was approached by Ms. Robin Williams, who happily identified herself as a customer service representative and giving me her card, again (apparently forgetting she had done the same 2 days prior). I mentioned to her my long wait and she said she would check on things. She never got back to me but was witnessed numerous times talking with other "workers" in the service area and laughing and sharing things from her phone. I did not leave this dealership impressed with their service department, other than Mr. Joseph. Buyer beware. read more

I will NOT be taking my car here again even though I have been a costumer since 2012. I also would not recommend anyone to get service done at this location. I was charged $150 for a car part/labor and have been waiting for that part to arrive since September 2021 only to find out this week that the car part was never actually ordered. I had called them directly once a month and excuses that I received every time I called was that the part was in back order and they did not have an estimate time of when it would come in. I found it to be very strange that every time I called the person who answered had no idea of what I was talking about even though I had paid for the part in person with a specific employee. I finally went in person where I was able to talk to someone else, only after being met with more excuses and demanding to speak to someone higher up. In the end, they were able to fix what was wrong with my car, but I still had to pay over $350 (on top of the previous $150 I had originally paid in September). When I shared what had happened over the last 9 months they did not seem to care and just brushed it off like it did not matter. I am very disappointed in how unprofessionally this issue was handled and feel as though they did not do their best to make it right. I would suggest going to a trustworthy local repair shop over this location. read more

We were greeted at the door by Christian Stowers who didn't push himself on us but asked if we were there to see someone. We told him we were interested in the Nissan Rogue and he politely took us out to the parking lot and showed us several. We decided on the Rogue SL Sport and he made the buying so pleasant and the price they gave us was excellent. It was getting late and the detailer had already gone home so he told us he would be off Thursday if we could bring the car back to have it detailed on Friday which we did and the detailer did a superb job. Christian went over every detail about the car while we waited and set up our first oil change. We have always dreaded buying a car but thanks to him it was easy and not a hassle. I took my sister who has cancer here to buy a Fiat that they had for sale because she has really wanted one. First problem was the sales man Manny Rodriguz was very unprofessional buy talk in Spanish to somebody on his cell phone, left us sitting for hours without acknowledging us, and acted like we were not worth his time. Then we were there for a total of 7 1/2 hours jumping through hoops to get all these things that they wanted to finance the car. They asked for things I never had to show to buy my new Toyota truck that costed $45,000. After getting all that they asked for they said they were having problems with the bank and they wanted an extra $1500 down on a $8000 car. needless to say we left without the car after giving them everything they asked for besides extra cash. They told us that they would deliver the car to her if they got everything set up the next day. He called and aid everything was set up like we asked for and all we had to do was come out and sign papers and get car. So he lied about delivering the car but she really wanted it so I drove the 1 1/2 hours back to get car and when we get there he started asking for $1500 cash that we had told him we were not giving before he called and said everything was set the way she requested and then kept saying well give me a check for 2 weeks from now and we will get the paperwork and She told him she only gets disability once a month and would not have anymore money till next month and he said then I will take it for next month and she told him no and we were done with him and his lies and we left. I feel they are crooked and liars to get money out of people and I feel he was trying to take advantage of her because she is sick and really wanted that car. I wish I could give this place a 0 rating!!!! I moved to FL 2 years ago and since moving here I've only gone to Hill Nissan for my services. My last three interactions with Hill were a disaster but my experience today 9/21/2017 is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever experienced in my life. I made an appointment online a week prior to my service. I indicated on the appointment I needed an oil change, brake service, windshield wipers and for them to diagnose a clicking sound I was hearing or feeling in the left front wheel. My appointment was for 8am, I arrived at 7:30am when they opened I was taken in promptly. I was assigned to service writer Brandon, I reiterated to him all the services I'd like accomplished and that I would be back at 4:30PM to pickup my car. I also asked him to call me to let me know the findings of the diagnostics and the cost, he assured me he would. Having not heard from Brandon at 12Noon, I called and got a lackluster person on the phone who attempted to reach service twice and then asked me if I'd like to leave a voice message. I opted out of the voice message and instead called back at 1PM. After waiting on hold and after being asked several times why I was calling, Brandon came on the line, I asked him for a status. He stated that the oil change and wiper blades had been taken care of and the technician is doing a test drive of the vehicle. I asked what about the brake work and he stated that the brakes requires the wheels being taken off and that had not been done yet. He hinted that they may not complete it and I may be given a loaner. I found that odd since the vehicle had already been there for a half day and still had a good 4 hours left to be there before I had to pick it up. Brandon told me he would call me back at 3:30PM with a status. Needless to say no call came, I called back at 4:00PM again same multiple questions from the person answering the phone about why I was calling and numerous attempts to transfer me to service, then she indicated she would page Brandon. Brandon got online and indicated my vehicle was not complete and again that a loaner would be provided. I told Brandon that I would need my vehicle as I am scheduled to go out of town. When I got to the dealership at 4:20PM, Brandon was not available another person attempted to help I advised him I'm here to pick up my car, he was not able to locate my key or the vehicle so I had to wait for Brandon for a few minutes. Finally Brandon was able to track my vehicle down from wherever it was parked in the lot all day NOT TOUCHED at all. There was NO OIL CHANGE, NO BRAKE WORK, NO WIPER BLADE REPLACEMENT and of course NO DIAGNOSTICS. I was also advised that they do not have any loaner cars at this point. Brandon offered a free oil change and wiper blades if I would bring my car back, that was all, he basically said, he does not know what goes on in the back, he can only do what he can. If Hill Nissan was the only Nissan Dealership in the world. I'd junk my car and walk... this experience was not only incredulous, aggravating, disappointing but most of all hurtful as I did not receive the service I've come to expect from other Nissan dealers in the past. I would NEVER refer anyone to this place. If you can take the time drive out to Tampa and Orlando to the Nissans in those area do that, Hill Nissan has gotten comfortable because they're the only ones servicing this area and it's a shame. read more

Hill Nissan quote makes u interesting and brings u to the dealer and marketing tactics used by salesmen makes us trapped, real figures come into picture when u go to the dealership .. interesting this guys won't share lease document over e-mail until u walk in to the dealership, u know how it works reading lease document in dealership, u will be rushed to sign the deal, once u signed lease .. u are gone.. same experience happened to me, it's my mistake i got trapped with this guys marketing tactics and sold my new CR-V and leased a crap 2017 Nissan rogue for 36 months and next day morning i felt rogue seats are pretty uncomfortable and gave a call immediately asking for a help to get another nissan vehicle.. by that time these haven't even sent by lease docs to nissan finace , now i am not even in a state to drive this car for 10 mins and i surviving using lyft and uber that bad the vehicle was, if i trade in the lease i am up side down for 15k .. these guys never help you once u sign the lease or after u bought a car and they don't even respond to you if ask for any advice This is my worst experience i had first time in buying my 4th car .. it is unfortunate that i got trapped read more

I called in to see if I could get a slight shimmy in the steering wheel when I applied the breaks checked. I talked to Wayne Brokaw and set an appointment for two days later. I arrived and waited for about an hour while the tech drove the car and inspected the rotors. I was told the pads looked fine and the rotors were thick enough to turn and they suspected that was the problem. They also suggested an alignment and tire balance. The tires were wearing normally and would need replacement within 10K so I passed on those suggestions. They gave me a ride home and about three hours later picked me up. After holding for 7 minutes and being told several times no appointment was needed and everyone in service was busy 2xs I disconnected the call and brought my vehicle in without an appointment. I dropped the vehicle off at 8:25am and returned at 10:40to be toldy vehicle was still not ready! So much for express and no appt needed!! Made an appointment to have my oil changes. I arrived 5 minutes early and specifically asked my "service rep" how long was this to take because I had an important meeting scheduled late in the day. My "rep" said this oil change would take 1 1/2 hours. which would work with my schedule. I STRESSED I need to make this appointment with the "rep" and he said don't worry. After sitting for 1 3/4 hours, I started looking for my "rep". Needless to say he and other employees were just "hanging around" one of the desks. After 2 hours and 15 minutes he came out and said he needed to finish-up the paperwork and I would be "ready to roll". I had a sticker in the car, which Nissan removed, for $5.00 off oil change. This wasn't on the bill and I asked about it. Rep said he'll would my discount next time even after I almost exploded because there was no way I could make my scheduled appointment that I told him about because it too well over 2 hours for a oil change and that I will not be back. I then asked to see the service manager Rich Lupo. He did talk to me and I asked how long it takes for an oil change. He did explain they were not back logged today so 1 1/2 hours is plenty of time. I explained my oil change was 2 1/4 hours. He said he will look into it and make me happy next week. Guess what...I'm still not happy with Hill's service dept. and will never come back there again. I am truly thinking of getting rid of my Nissan because it has THEIR logo on the back of my vehicle... read more

My experience was TERRIBLE! I have a 2012 Nissan LEAF with less than 50,000 miles. My battery has lost half its capacity, and according to info online it might be covered under warranty. Normal cost of replacement is around $6,000. I wrote to them twice, giving all the info and asking if they could advise if it would be covered. Eventually get a response saying that they would have to look at it. Well, that's fair. You don't want to promise something and then have to backtrack. So I made an appointment for noon. It was the closest dealer to me, but still once I got there I was concerned about having enough juice to get home. I had to give all my info (name, address, phone, email, car mileage, year) TWICE, because the attendant accidentally deleted it the first time. You would think that they would have all that, since I put it in upon making the appointment, but ok. Then I'm informed that the ONE person at the dealer who can work on LEAFs is going on lunch. Ummmm...you'd think that they would have known when his lunch was scheduled BEFORE I made the appointment, but again, things happen. Eventually, after sitting for 2.5 hours in their waiting room and hearing nothing, I wandered out to the service area to ask how much longer it was going to be. I'm told "the issue is that your battery capacity is low." WOW. "That's considered normal wear. It's not covered. We can replace it for $10,000". Umm, NO! "Are you interested in looking over some of our new cars?" If I can't afford to replace my battery, why would I be looking at new cars?! At the end they charged me over 100 dollars for telling me everything I already knew, then told me that my car probably didn't have the juice to get me back home to Davenport. I had a choice: wait another 4 hours while they charged it, or use the fast charger, which they make you PAY FOR! I was able to limp slowly home (flashing warning lights) but I am FURIOUS about the way that I was treated. ALL of this could have been done over email.
