While Jessica Kent, sales associate, gave us a good service, Troy Drummond from the finance department treated us awfully. He did not like to be questioned about the additional charges he padded in the sales contract. He was going through the contract very fast and just wanted the signatures. We arrived at the dealership to sign papers at around 4 PM and didn't leave until after 7PM as if it was deliberate so that the time we had with Troy Drummond would be limited. Mr. Drummond was arrogant to my wife when questioned about some of the line-item fees. We strongly felt that some fees were overstated or duplicated with some appearing different in description but was already added elsewhere. We believe the padding in the sales contract amounted to about $700. Mr. Drummond, as suggested earlier, was going through the documents at lightning speed leaving exasperated with nary a time to re-think what we felt was not right in the sales contract. I have owned subaru outbacks exclusively since 1995. I had bought cars from 3 different dealerships before I bought my 21 outback from lakeland subaru. I can't say enough about what a great experiences I have had since then, yes experiences, from Ron in the sales dept to all the guys and gals in service this place is number 1. I have since traded the 21 in for a 23 and I love it and now due to my grandkids getting biggeri have tested an assent and will probably go that route. The people in this dealership are so cool, I needed to have a bad rear usb port replaced in the 23 and told the service guys i was going to test an assent , after the drive which was extensive the service people all chimed in on their thoughts and the pro's and con's in their opinion , honestly . also every time i have taken the car in for a free oil change they always ask me if i want a loaner so I can run errands and wash the car before giving it back. Ron has always stayed in touch with me since i bought the first one from him . He calls me every few months to make sure all is ok and we usually end up BSing for a few minutes. Service advisers are the first professional in an auto shop that a customer will come into contact with, and they are the person that a customer will spend most of their time in the shop communicating with. Because the need for automotive repairs is often sudden and urgent, customers in auto shops usually have a higher than normal amount of stress. An effective service adviser will be capable of ensuring that their customers feel attended to and listened to during their time at a shop. Purchased my Outback new from Canon in 2016. Good experience up to now. It now has 25,000 miles. I had the oil changed and tires rotated and the multiport inspection. Work was performed for no charge per purchase agreement. I was very surprised when a service representative came out to tell me that gold-tinted brake fluid needs replace, A/C needs recharged, wheel alinement , etc for $560. I don't think the work needs done. The "tell-tale" gold brake fluid was that color when I purchased the new car; and further, I have worked in auto service in the 1960s/70s and I know better. I went in about 2 weeks ago to get my oil change on my Crosstreck and while there I talked to Chase Lovelady about upgrading my Crosstreck with an Outback. We talked about what exactly I was looking for and he suggested the Touring trim level. Next I told him I would really like a blue Outback, which of course they didn't have. But that didn't stop him! He found the only blue one in the southeast and it arrived this week. I came in to test drive today and a total of only 2 1/2 hours spent at Cannon I was in my way in my new Subaru. What I really appreciated was they didn't waste my time and they didn't play games with me. I told them what I wanted to pay (based on internet research) and they said "ok". I just can't say enough about how great of an experience this was, and how friendly everyone at this dealership is! Went to Cannon Subaru today to get my oil changed, tires rotated, and my passenger headlight fixed. Had an appointment at 12:45pm, dropped my car off at 11:30am. Overheard the assistant manager tell the auto mechanic to make sure to take care of the couple in front of us because they were friends of someone at the dealership. (Same tech that was assigned to my car). We leave and come back around 2:30pm. While waiting in the parking lot we received a call from the assistant manager advising the headlight did not need to be replaced it was just a lose bulb and my car would be ready as soon as they finished washing it. When we left (around a little after 3pm) the shop closed their doors right behind us. Little did we know that the headlight is STILL OUT! They never even bothered to fix it. I have attached a copy of the work order and a picture of my car with a headlight out. Shocker. It never ceases to amaze me that people can "pretend" to do their job and think they can still maintain a business. We also noticed it doesn't appear that they rotated my tires like they claimed they did and charged us damn near $30 just to do so. Smh. What a waste of time and energy just to have the same issue with your car as when you took it in. Way to do great business. Would leave 0 stars if I could. Spoke with a salesman in December about leasing a new Subaru crosstrek based on the attached lease option. The salesman, Ron, told me that they did not have any vehicles in stock that fit the lease option but they did have some on order. He offered to put one of them in my name so I would be the first person contacted when it arrived. Fast forward 2 months, after several delays and no communication from the dealer (I reached out to them to find out about the delays) the car has finally arrived and I am sent a lease offer that does not match the special (attached as well). I spoke with Ron again and he told me that the vehicle that was delivered did not meet the specifications of the lease offer. The dealership was not able or willing to provide me with anything close to the same deal I was promised in December so I walked away having wasted 2 months I could have been searching for a car elsewhere. After four years I am still mad. Four years ago my wife took her Subaru legacy in the cannon repair shop because of a humming noise. The shop manager called my wife that she needed to replace her starter the battery and her alternator for $1400. At the time I was out of town and she called me and told me what they told her. I told her to go get the car back from Cannon. When I flew in to town I took a look at her car. When I got in her car and started it up I heard the noise, I am mediately lifted the console door in the middle and there was a little phone inverter for charging your phone, it has a little motor in a that made the noise I took it out and solved the problem. if you know anything about cars you know those three items that they mentioned are not even really related. I brought my Subaru in for oil change service. When I dropped my car off, I spoke to the service director about the wear on the seat of my 8 month old car. I thought it was going to be a difficult conversation, thinking they wouldn't do anything about it, but was pleasantly surprise! He ordered a replacement and they will install free of charge, which is a great thing and the way I thought it should be! When I arrived home I noticed a nail in my tire so I alerted the dealership service department. The service manager did respond and said he would get back with me...never did. My second trip was for the same oil change and rotate and balance. I alerted the check in rep of my experience last time and she made a note to please have them check for nails. I had an appointment for 9:00am and I arrived at 8:30am. 3 hours later and many costumers coming and going and I'm still sitting there(outside). I returned to check in person to get my car and it's still not ready. I tell her by this point I just want my car. I paid $170.00 for this service and still waited for my car.
