The clincher was my new remote coworker (located a few hours away from this area) who confirmed "oh yeah - ANY time we go down there, we get Miguel's!). After our adventure, we scooted over to Miguel's. It's kinda different, to say the least. Big with the campers. You walk up and order, and they'll bring your pizza to you (place your transponder on the marked mat on the table so they can find you!). While we waited, we got a chance to pet a few dogs that were hanging out with their humans. Always a bonus! It's also a cool place to people-watch. The food was UH-MAZING. We got a couple different kinds of pizzas and they were all fantastic. The sausage was the crumbled kind (versus slices or chunks). WINNER! The pepperoni was tasty. The white sauce with chicken was top notch. You can't go wrong! And the prices were extremely reasonable. We enjoyed our meal so much, we bought another round of pies to throw in the car for the next few meals. SO GOOD!
