For icecream we tasted the purple cow, peach cobbler, cookies and cream, black cherry chocolate, and the coffee heath crunch. The quark was interesting... it had a rather mild flavor and interesting texture (similar to boursin). I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. I also took home a bag of the tomato basil cheese curds which I didn't like as much as the garlic ones. The tomato ones had a very subtle flavor-- too subtle. There was a line when we got there though it moves relatively quickly and is definitely worth the wait! The department notified Sunset View Creamery about the preliminary test results on Sept. 12, and further testing confirmed the presence of the campylobacter again on Sept. 18, 2023. Campylobacteriosis can cause lasting complications, including irritable bowel syndrome, arthritis, and temporary paralysis. People with compromised immune systems could develop a life-threatening infection if the bacteria spreads to the bloodstream.
