We came here local for a local place to try and buy cheese. There is plenty of space to park. We did a free cheese tasting of all of their cheeses and then we bought multiple cheeses from this creamery - mozzarella which is a salty version of mozzarella, and a cheddar. Both delicious. There were also plenty of other foodies like jams and crackers to also buy. After that we were allowed to browse around the property. We saw 2 goats, and about 30 cows from baby to adult. Very fun experience to top off buying some yummy cheese.

Amazing creamery!! We stopped in while on vacation and it was amazing. The young woman working was so pleasant and sweet and did amazing with our cheese tastings. We also got to sample homemade crackers, jams, and cheese spreads. After purchasing a few different things, she was able to let us go and see how they milk the cows and the process it goes through before the milk truck picks it up. We also got to see and pet baby cows. Very wonderful experience and our kids and us adults enjoyed it as well!!

Went to this creamery for their 2018 Finger Lakes Cheese Festival. What a great event. I've never ate so much cheese in my life. Everyone there was so friendly. The event had a great set up. It never seemed too crowded. Best part was the baby cows. We got to see some mother cows who had just given birth or were about to. So interesting and the staff were informative.

The cheese is delicious. They have about 6 varieties, plus cheese curds and some other products like jams, ice cream etc. You can see the goats, and cows/calfs, and the adorable dogs that love to play fetch.

A fourth generation dairy farm that excels in cheese and ice cream. We tried the 8 flight. 4 cheeses 4 ice creams. All were delicious. I tried the peach habernero Quark and immediately needed to buy one in the case. Its a super protein and so creamy. I can't wait to pair it with celery sticks for a nice snack. They offer a few coffee drinks as well. I ordered a caramel Americano. Next time I am in the area I will definitely come by again!

Such a fun experience!…read more So many fun flavors of icecream and different cheeses! Not to mention the adorable cows!! We tried the flight of 8-- 5 icecreams and 3 cheeses. For icecream we tasted the purple cow, peach cobbler, cookies and cream, black cherry chocolate, and the coffee heath crunch. My favorite was the coffee flavor- unlike other coffee icecreams I've had, this coffee had a much more robust and richer flavor profile. I liked cookies and cram-- always a classic. The cherry flavor was a tad too artificial for my liking. Purple cow was fine- very similar to the Cornell Dairy flavor- both are good though! I liked the peach cobbler flavor though wish there were more of the mix-ins. For cheeses, we tasted the butter garlic cheddar curds, the signature Summit Cheddar, and the plain quark. The garlic cheddar curds were so good, I took a bag home with me! Summit cheddar had a nice nutty flavor, not too 'sharp' though. The quark was interesting... it had a rather mild flavor and interesting texture (similar to boursin). I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. I also took home a bag of the tomato basil cheese curds which I didn't like as much as the garlic ones. The tomato ones had a very subtle flavor-- too subtle. There was a line when we got there though it moves relatively quickly and is definitely worth the wait! Overall, I had so much fun picking out so many icecreams and cheeses to taste as well as seeing the cows! I would highly recommend Shtayburne Farm!

I was here on a family trip, and my father insisted we try "real cheese". He was right! They have a tasting menu that included about 10-12 cheeses. I was dying to visit, because they offer cheese tastings, so I'll start my review by describing that experience! You walk up to the bar, tell them you want to do a cheese tasting, and they had you a ticket. Then you can walk to one of their two tasting areas (you'll see long tables with staff on one side and customers on the other, with lots of cloches with cheese under them) and get started on your tasting. You get to try 12 cheeses, and they give you a little tasting sheeting so you can rate and take notes on the cheeses. It only takes a few minutes, but it was fun and a great way to learn about their cheeses. If you're not into a cheese tasting or if you want more than just the tasting, they offer charcuterie boards, Finger Lakes wine, wine slushies, beers, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks. You can also buy a block of cheese and eat that, too! I did the cheese tasting (fun - and I liked most of the cheeses), and we shared a wine slushie as well. We arrived pretty close their closing time, but I was glad we had time to experience what Muranda has to offer! They have a shop in the back, where they sell their cheeses, wines, pottery, and other Finger Lakes products. There's also an amazing patio off the shop, with gorgeous views, rocking chairs, and tables. They host live music at this really cool stage above the bar. So you can eat cheese, have a drink, and listen to some live music in a beautiful barn? Sold. It's a fun time. And I recommend it between wine tastings or other activities you get up to in the Finger Lakes!

I'm…read morenot sure if that's accurate, but they are part of my experience with the market, and I love them all. Giordano is one of the best of the bunch, as they have all the cheese you'd ever want...and I want a lot of cheese. I want the funky bleu, the creamy brie, the sharpest cheddar you can find, the chevre, whatever you can find from a sheep, certainly including manchego, and all the olives they have in stock too. I want the cheeses with fun additions like truffles and pepper and meat and I also want the meat that hasn't been added to the cheese, because meat is good on its own too. All that said, the last time I came in I felt like I was bothering the staff there. I got curt, annoyed answers when I was curious about a cheese I wasn't familiar with, and we ended up leaving with about 25% of the amount of cheese I wanted to buy just because it's not fun to put together a cheese plate with people who aren't trying to help you. I hope it was an off day, because I'll be back again soon. After all, I have a cheese problem.

Though it was almost empty on a Thursday morning it was difficult to get to the cheese display because the only two patrons were pretty much sitting in the aisle gabbing with one of the workers. We had to squeeze around them since they weren't moving. Once at the cheese counter the smallish selection of cheeses were unmarked so we needed to quiz the burly guy manning the counter. He was gruff and almost rude in his attitude. Almost unhelpful. It is lucky we bought anything at all. If you wanted your purchase wrapped in cheese paper vs. plastic they charged another $1.75. Really? Definitely not the positive experiences we remembered from the past. Very Disappointing!

Fresh fudge is also on the menu with several delicious flavors. I'm not really sure how my wife came across this place, but we are both glad she did. We have been out several times and have not been disappointed with anything we have purchased food wise - we've tried a little bit of everything - pepperoni & sausage bread, cheese and cheese curds, croissants and desserts, breakfast sandwiches - and everything has been great. You can argue they're a little on the pricier side, but we don't feel like it's crazy higher than stuff you buy in stores, and the quality is absolutely there. We'll be regular customers.
