I've had this special jacket for a very long time with a unique design. Unfortunately, the jacket was too small so I cut out the design and brought it to Hillers Cleaners in Hopkinton. I requested to have it added to this Jean jacket (see photo). Mistakenly, I had cut out the design unevenly which left it more difficult to stitch to the jacket. They did an excellent job! WhenI dropped off my item, I was helped by a man without a mask. When I picked up my item, I mentioned to the woman working at the counter that masks don't work if under your nose. She said it was loose. I mentioned that it could be made to fit by twisting the ear elastics in an x. She indicated she did not wish to make any changes. I will not be returning. read more

hmmm...so im going to start off by saying i got what i wanted to get when i walked in those doors. now the price for which i paid and got it for is a bit debatable in terms of my satisfaction to cost ratio. background: 2 hem jobs (1 regular hem + 1 original hem) final cost $37 im used to paying 15 for orignal stitch so i was a bit taken back when i got the bill at 24. the guy assured me that who ever charged me 15 was crazy and did not do a proper job. so since i relocated the middle of nowhere...i decided to give Hiller's a try. so long story short-got what i needed but at a very steep price. its an OK place...very professional and courteous except the whole sales pitch about the how they do things the right way. parking could not be situated at a more awkward place though. during rush hour be prepared to wait to get out of there for a while. read more

I took a handmade quilt to them, since they had been recommended for that kind of work. When I dropped it off, I asked the manager to take a look and be sure they could do it... it has lace and velvet and beads on it. He said, they do that kind of thing all the time and didn't even look. When I got it back, colors had run into the next square and I was in tears ( I spent 10 years making this quilt as a gift for my husband.) The manager was not there, so I had to come back. He then said he would try to fix the run colors. When it came back the next time, they were better, but not gone and now several squares were worn through from (Scrubbing?) He now says his sewing people will replace the ruined squares, and requilt it, but some of the squares are irreplaceable and I am dubious that this can be done. I will never go to them again and called the quilt place that recommended them to let them know. Update! The owner had his sewing person fix all the ruined squares that could be replaced. I appreciate his efforts to rectify the situation, though he still didn't listen well, resulting in my having to go there multiple times. Still, he did fix it as well as possible, and I appreciate that he took responsibility for what happened. read more

First, let me say, I DO NOT write reviews, this is my first ever. I signed up for Yelp just to write this review! I dropped off two pairs of jeans to be hemmed, I was told they would be $12 each, was given slip for $24. I just went in to pick them up and was told I owed $48!!! How do you tell someone one price, do the work and then DOUBLE the price!!! When I questioned the clerk I was told it was because of the type of hem, shouldn't that have been determined when I dropped them off!! Shouldn't I have been the one to determine if I wanted to spend that much, I could have bought another pair of jeans for that price! This place came highly recommended by peers, but I find this type of business practice to be unacceptable. Needless to say, I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

I was so disappointed in this place. We just moved to the area over this past summer. This place clearly has the market cornered in the area, and in general, had great reviews. I was excited to find a place that had on-site dry cleaning. Drop off was easy, except for the distracted girl behind the counter who had some trouble multitasking a phone call while entering my items, and handling the line that began to form behind me. When I went to pick up my items, checkout and the staff was average; nothing spectacular. Upon arriving home I was putting my items away and realized one shirt was missing (I had a lot of items and did not check them all at the store which was fairly busy with people lined up behind me). I made the mistake of trusting that everything I dropped off would be there at pickup. I contacted the store immediately and received a very prompt response via telephone call. The discussion included George, who identified himself as the owner, continuously asking me if I was wrong about dropping off that particular item. Maybe the shirt was actually at home, perhaps I never dropped it off. He added that this often is the case with most customers who think that the cleaners lost an item. When I assured him I was not wrong and asked about cameras at the front desk to confirm the item I had dropped off; I was informed they were not up and running that day. He closed the conversation saying he was off to Greece for a bit, but would look into it because customer satisfaction is important to him...which is obviously incorrect as I have yet to hear back from him 5months later regarding this matter (not to mention repeatedly inquiring if I was mistaken about what I had dropped off when we spoke). At the end of the day, it was a generic white men's dress shirt costing less than $100, but they lost it, and subsequently did not acknowledge that they lost it, or even apologize. Ultimately, it is obviously more about their poor customer service and lack of follow-up. I will not be going back! read more
