After learning that the other town tailor charges at least $5 more per item, I was off to the shop. Celina is the proprietor and seems to make the alterations herself. The business is very relaxed. The ambiance feels like you've walked into someone's home and you're greeted and treated as such. The work is great. I've had pockets fixed for $5, pants shortened for $10, and shirts tailored for $20. All were in rough condition before, and now they're all fit to my specs. Clothes behind the counter spanned from kids dresses to adult jackets, so I think she is ready to handle anyone. I would recommend those that can handle a relaxed business atmosphere to use Celina for alterations. She also speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English - so chances are she can help you too.

CON: they are not a stickler for "you only get these clothes if you have the exact carbon copy receipt". this allows someone else to take your clothes without proof that it is theirs. the place is cash only, so there was no way for me to trace who paid for my pants. Nice lady working there, but the fact remains my two pairs of pants disappeared from their store. Until those pants show up, I'm not going back for their service.

On top of that, there were obvious new stitches added that hadn't been there before, and they didn't even remotely match the fabric or color of the knit. I also brought in a trench coat, which came back with all the same stains untouched -- honestly, for the best considering what happened to the dress. When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. Please do not trust them with valuable clothing, especially anything sentimental like a wedding dress.

On numerous occasions found my shirts after dry cleaned to still be semi wrinkle. I never said…read moreanything because I usually iron them. But yesterday on Thursday picked up my three pants I had dry cleaned (mind you none of them discolored) and when I received them, one of my suit pants had weird pinkish discoloration. The lady was not the "boss" so I left them there for boss to look at, and this morning spoke to owner/boss, about discoloration and he told me it wasn't him or his common fault and they were "due to sweat (from me). I told him the discoloration was not there when I dropped off, and gave me look as it was (basically saying I'm lying). So refused to acknowledge damage and restoration. Obviously last time I do business with them, and I'm out of a suit!!! Disgraceful indeed. And I noticed he must of tried to do something to get out because you can see in picture I took, it appears to be a wet ring around pinkish area. Both legs have discoloration. He had to insult me on the material my pants were (polyester and wool mix) and that's why discoloration as well.
