The sites are clean and ready to go when you arrive. Some of them are on the smaller side but if you adjust your parking you can make it work. You even have a beautiful view of the pond even from across the campsite! My friends booked the Rustic Cabins and had no complaints! They were so cute! The beach was clean and so much fun for our almost 2 year old son. Loved the weekend activities too! We made tie dye t-shirts! My son loved their playground too! One of the best parts was that at check-out I expressed that our picnic table was breaking and the maintenance guy was on it before we finished dumping. Incredible customer service, for the next campers! Cannot wait to come back.

With a friendly welcome, swimming beach, paddle boat rentals, along with catch 'n release fishing, there is something for everyone. Here you will find clean restrooms, a safe environment for children to play as everyone heeded the 5 mph speed, a store with camping items, laundry, small restaurant and a very large dog run. The 7-mile drive from the highway was well worth the drive. There are many 'seasonals' who summer here from the surrounding communities and we found everyone very welcoming. We camped here in a 30' Airstream trailer and would definitely return.

The camp store doesn't have much, so make sure you bring what you need. Although, they do have ice cream for a VERY reasonable price. They have a small beach front area that is closed off for swimming so you can't go out too far into the lake. They have 2 large playgrounds, which is good for all ages. We have a 2 year old and she had so much fun! This is a good place to bring jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, boat. We will come back next year! They have some sites that are full hook ups and some sites without. The sites without hookups have some lake access and by far have the best views. You are allowed generators until 10pm.

We reserved the only cabin they had left which was to be the one without the bathroom but the great part it was across the road from the bathhouse which was not an issue. Well the day before I received a call from the campground stating they had a bathroom cabin open if we would be intrested and of course we said yes. Of course it was little more but bathroom in winter with snow on the ground was a major plus. When we arrived we could not believe how great the cabin was. The cabin was #7. It offered a seperate bedroom from the man cabin and an awesome size bathroom. The bunkbed with futon was also great with the small table and chairs. We also had an order of fire wood delivered and we did burn on Saturday. We would be the only ones out with campfire!! So why this campground you may ask! Interactions by staff with calling us to let us know of an upgrade available, answering the phone when you call instead of an automated message, the place is amazing and location along the Pine Creek was awesome. Remember if you travel in the winter they did have it plowed also and the bathhouse was open also if needed along with laundry facility. Thanks again for allowing us to make memories!

Soul Cleansing! Petticoat Junction campground is nestled in…read morethe PA Grand Canyon with Pine Creek on one side and the Rails to Trails on the other of the campground. This ideal location provides a nice tranquil environment with opportunities for active adventures. It had been several years since our last stay at PJC, but the new owners have done amazing improvements and upgrades to many areas of the campground which are greatly appreciated. Everyone we interacted with (owners/employees) were friendly and gave us the feeling that they were glad we chose to stay with them. There are a variety of camping options from season sites, primitive sites, cabins, glamping tents, and RV hook-ups for water and electric (along the creek). We stated in one of the water/electric hook-up sites along the creek, which was wonderful. Very flat and larger than average in size, which was nice not being on top of your neighbor. Water pressure was very good and the WIFI signal was better than many campgrounds we have stayed. The location of PJC is perfect for fishing, floating/kayaking, and biking/hiking the rails to trail. There are many nearby hikes throughout the canyon for the more adventures travelers. The office has biking/tubing/boating rentals for its campers. Additionally the firewood for sale is priced well and is very good quality, not the cheap smoky pine found in most places. If you need a break from civilization to reset and relax, I highly recommend PJC!
