Well the portion I got here was not super big probably just enough so that if I ate another 25% of an order I would be full. When I told him this he said no all I said is that it's consistent. So I laughed to myself. Anyways I came to try this cart on towards the end of the week and a bit later in the afternoon around 1pm, dropping by after I made a large return at ups. It's $9 for chicken or lamb or a combo over rice. They also have a variety of other stuff like hot dogs and kabobs. Kabobs were on the more expensive side $15. I got a combo over rice and a chicken over rice, which by the way does not come with a drink. I asked for extra white sauce and green sauce on the combo and the same on the chicken over rice but also adding in hot sauce. When I was handed the bag, well it felt pretty light. In my mind I was already thinking on man I'm going to give it to my brother, making me think this is going to be a nice filling portion. But still I had high hopes this would be delicious. Finally I get home. I open it up and yes it's not a lot of food. But that's fine it'll be delicious right? Nope it was just ok... I didn't actually get extra white sauce which was disappointing, it was actually barely any sauce. Rice was cooked nicely but not the most flavorful and the meat was just ok. The chicken was better than the lamb. Worth a try but I think this is definitely an average tasting halal cart.

I got a lamb over rice with the red, white, and green sauce and it was the perfect amount of heat and a burst of flavor without the grimy taste of cheap oil. For the small price of $8 dollars, this will fill you up for the whole day. The man serving the food is also a great guy and gave us free drinks on the house. The only caveat is that he closes a little earlier than the blue cart on most days. I've also missed the green cart these past couple of days and I refuse to get my fix from the blue cart. I guess the anticipation makes for the better reward.
