The ladies kept trying to push extra services on me and wouldn't disclose the additional pricing. And when I went up to the front, I had scanned the venmo code and put in a 15% tip, ready to pay as long as they didn't pressure me again like last time.... but then they did, so i immediately lowered it before sending it. And then she stopped me and asked me about the amount, I told her I paid and still tipped, and she wouldn't let me leave for 5 minutes until finally telling me I was fine to go. Good massage, but absolutely awful customer service. I would never recommend going here to anyone.

Happy to add another gem for a good firm Chinese massage place on my list! Received a much needed…read moregift certificate from Mother's Day and being a fan of Chinese massages, I was really looking forward to some healing. Ladies seem very nice and know what they are doing. Location is very clean, both in the main foot massage area and in the private back massage rooms. Love the relaxing Chinese music playing in the background. They will ask what type of massage you want to opt for (Swedish, Deep tissue or Regular Combo massage) and they routinely check on you throughout the experience if you are doing ok. *Highly suggest doing the Combo Massage Oil (not clothing on option) 30 min feet and 60 min body massage. You will first get a very thorough foot massage that your feet will be so thankful for and then they will walk you over to a private room and instruct you before they step out, to take your top and bottoms off to hang on the hooks. (keep your undies on though) Lay on the massage bed face down and they will come in and start the massage. The older Asian lady was so good and you can tell she really puts in a lot of effort. I did wish they had a bit more time and focused on my neck/shoulder area since I have a lot of tension there (they do it once they make you flip over to your front after massaging your back) Maybe I'll try to see if a deep tissue one on that area will work best. *If you opt for clothes off oil massage, just FYI there is a part where she will massage your much used glutes (butt muscles) to ease the muscle tension. So just don't be surprised once they do that. It was very methodical and you will feel such a big difference once you get up. They do such a good job on focusing on the lower back as well, I almost cried from the relief it released. Lol. Opt for the $10 Hot Stone addition- you can thank me later. *I suggest showing up a few min early than the time you had scheduled, because getting prepped can eat up the time. I walked in right at 11, then got walked to the food massage couch and had to wait for almost 5 min to have the water etc. ready. *minus one star for the inconsistent price. They gave the flyer on Saturday with the gift certificate for info. It says $79.99 for the 90 min combo but in the store on Tuesday their menu says $90. Make sure you inquire about the pricing and mention the flyer and price to them prior to booking on the phone to get some clarity. Jun Yi Massage (Renton) and This place are my two favorites in the area for Chinese massages (women masseuse). Jun Yi does a good job on the front body massage and equal to foot massage. This place however wins hands down on its oil back massages. Definitely will recommend and will come back again!

I hadn't been here in a couple of years, and now I remember why…read more When I booked my appointment, I specifically requested a deep tissue massage when I called, confirmed it again when I checked in, and reiterated it when my therapist came into the room. Unfortunately, what I received was nowhere close to deep tissue--it wasn't even firm pressure. To make matters worse, my 90-minute appointment was cut short. During the session, the therapist repeatedly found reasons to step away. In total, he was out of the room or away from providing treatment for approximately 11 minutes. After the first 60 minutes, I was asked to get up and move to a different room for the final 30-minute foot massage. While I was waiting, the therapist spent time cleaning hot stones and remaking the massage table. Those tasks should be completed between clients--not during a client's paid treatment time. Service should be continuous throughout the scheduled appointment, and 11 minutes of non-treatment time is simply unacceptable. The foot massage itself was especially disappointing and felt like an afterthought. I tried communicating my preferences and even offered feedback on the pressure and technique during the session. As a licensed massage therapist myself, I understand the physical demands of this profession and appreciate the effort that quality bodywork requires. Unfortunately, this session lacked both the pressure and the intentional therapeutic work I specifically requested. Despite my attempts to communicate, my requests were ignored. It feels like they simply tell clients what they want to hear to get them in the door instead of delivering the service they promise. The massage was a complete waste of my time and money. Even though the price was inexpensive, it still wasn't worth it. To top it all off, my credit card was charged three times, and now I have to drive back just to get the billing corrected. This place used to be much better, but it has become incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend it.

I was contacted by a receptionist on behalf of the massage therapist, Morgan, who refused to work with me -- despite my clear explanation that I am not an active oncology patient, need no special accommodations, and was requesting a standard massage. At no point did Morgan speak to me directly; everything was relayed through the receptionist, who repeatedly and incorrectly referred to me as an "oncology patient" even after my corrections. This experience left me feeling humiliated and emotionally harmed. I was offered to reschedule with another therapist, but if bias exists at this level, I cannot trust that this location properly vets or trains its staff. Due to the seriousness of what occurred, I have submitted a formal complaint to the Washington State Department of Health. (This review reflects my honest experience.)

I had to switch to a new hairstylist to get an appointment in and decided on Jessilyn due to her being a senior stylist. I made an appointment a week in advance. Everything was going well till the person at the front desk came to the back where I was at the sinks getting rinsed and said there was a person that needed to get their hair styled and could Jessilyn do it. With no regard to me and my in-progress appointment she agreed. From there on I was delegated to the helpers in the salon to finish what was needed at the sinks. Jessilyn then rushed over cut my hair quickly in an obvious rush to get to the other client and then delegated the helper to blow dry my hair. It was obvious the poor helper did not know what she was doing. I ended up with a flat head of hair with no body. Jessilyn who was next to me cutting the other person's hair, did not even check to see how my hair turned out and if there needed to be any additional trimming made to my hair. When I went to pay, I mentioned what happened to the front desk person, and she got very rude and asked me to pay and leave. At that point I was very disappointed and not happy with the treatment of a long-time customer and left. I know they want to make money and fit in as many customers as possible but, if there is a customer in the middle of getting a haircut and color, they should not shortchange them just to make more money and fit someone else in. Especially with the amount I was paying for the service due to Jessilyn being a senior stylist. Thank you, Nancy Williams

I forgot her name, but all of a sudden she's no longer there. Then I found out my former therapist Sandi who used to own her own massage business also worked there. She had a strange schedule so it was difficult to get an appt with her, then she moved away. So I tried others they were fine. Some were, some not to my liking. I heard the owner was fantastic, but I was never able to get an appt with her. It's more clinical than a day spa feel, but the place is clean, and comfortable. I decided to purchase a package deal they offered. Everything was fine pre-pandemic. But 2020 came around and we had to wear mask while getting massaged. I normally would be fine with except, I can't wear mask due to my asthma. So the last time I came in for a session, I was able to remove my mask faced down, then face up I had to wear my mask. All of a sudden I started wheezing. I tried to enjoy my massage as much as I could. I ended up sick with asthma the rest of the week, I messaged the business to let them know, and the owner was gracious enough to not only refund my last treatment, but the rest of the sessions I prepaid. Sad, because this place is only a 10 minute drive from my home. I ended up finding a therapist who would massage me unmasked, but the drive was 30 mins. Darn Corona!
