They are located in Northeast Minneapolis and have a parking lot, and there is street parking around as well! The space is small, but there are more tables outside as well! It's a pretty quick/casual environment, or a good place to grab for take out! They make some changes to their menu weekly, and they offer weekend specials, so I recommend following them on social media for all the updates! I've enjoyed everything I've had at Dahlia, from breakfast sandwiches to quiche to pastries. You really can't go wrong here, as long as you get here before everything sells out! They do offer preorders online on Thursdays and Fridays but weekends are first come, first serve so get there early! The pastries here are some of the best you can find in the cities! The croissant dough has so many layers, is airy and perfectly flakey yet crispy. Both their sweet and savory croissants are great.

Dahlia started as a pop up but I hadn't heard of them until their storefront opening in January 2026. The photos alone are enough to make anyone who loves a good pastry curious, so I went on a Sunday morning around 10am. A good amount of people occupied the scattered picnic benches outdoors but there was no line inside and items came out quickly. Dahlia's branding is whimsical and creative and plays nicely off MN Nice Cream's color theme. You are immediately drawn to the pastry case, filled with picture perfect pastries, of which I am sometimes skeptical, for can they taste as good as they look? In Dahlia's case, I think allllmost. The Strawberry Rhubarb Bear Claw: A massive pastry with the classic finger like "bear claw" projections with their own numerous layers. The ratio of filling to croissant dough was decent; I definitely appreciated the strawberry rhubarb compote but was missing the reported vanilla pastry cream component. The outside was dusted in a brown sugar crumble with delicate laces of vanilla icing. It was beautifully made with excellent layers and unique flavors. I really liked the sourdough croissant too, so different than any croissant dough I've come across. I think the topping was just slightly stale and wish there had been a bit more cream in the filling, but otherwise a solid pastry. The Italian Sandwich: Actually beautiful looking and just as lovely to taste (as per my friend's review). House made focaccia hugs thinly sliced salami, capicola and ham along with pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, garlic aioli, arugula, and cold, crisp red onion. The sandwich didn't fall apart and seemingly nailed the proportions of each ingredient. I think paying $10.25 for a pastry is steep (black walnut bakery sells a bear claw for $5.25 that admittedly is better), however, I can appreciate the effort and energy that goes into these pastries. And especially being a new business operating only Thursday - Sunday, I think it is tolerable for now. I just worry that people may not make Dahlia a consistent part of their Sunday morning if they are paying nearly double for their treat.

Our server exuded elegance in her crisp white blouse and vibrant tie, styled with effortless French flair. As a special treat for yourself you must indulge in the delightfully decadent Cronuts stuffed with cream cheese...new experience for me. The rich hot chocolate drinks reminiscent of my childhood when real chocolate was used to prepare this special Holiday treat. All orders are don'e electronically and then you are sent a text to track it. Food is given to you in a bag, all food is in take out containers. They had a couple tables to sit at. I highly suggest if you order from here, you get it to go or through Uber eats or something. Unfortunately I was visiting and I took an uber there, so I sat and ate there. I love southern cooking, this food was okay, not incredible, My pork chop had a good flavor and the gravy was delicious, but the pork chop itself was very chewy. I could not cut it with the plastic knife I was given. I got collard greens and although it was a different flavor than what I was expecting, they were very good , I would order them again, they had a great flavors. My other side was corn bread. It was ordinary, not great nor bad. Came in a cupcake paper. On a scale from 1-5, I give the pork chop a 3, the collard greens a 5, and the corner bread a 3. No bathrooms, no extra napkins, no water, ...my container leaked gravy all over me when I took it out of the bag. I was a mess and with no rags or napkins. I want to give this place a good rating, I want them to succeed. If you want to try, only get it Togo and preferably idelivered.

They have a ton of other fair favorites too, including a full range of both breakfast and lunch/dinner dishes (although they only serve breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays). You can order from the counter, but the easiest way to get your food is to place an order online for pickup (they will even do curbside pickup). They have a couple outdoor tables, and Gold Medal Park is just steps away (perfect for a picnic!).

Service: This is where they lost a star from us. The woman who took our order had no energy, wasn't very friendly and just looked annoyed we were ordering. I had heard good things about the service, so this was a bummer. The food: We got them take out wings and each got the pork ramen. The wings are very good, but best in twin cities? No. Are they worth getting? If you love a crunchy wing, then yes! The ramen had the most flavorful broth!! Oh my goodness it was rich and full of flavor! The noddles were cooked perfectly! Definitely one of the best ramen dishes I have had in the twin cities! We would have tried the ribs but they were all out of :( Definitely check this place out!
