A small…read moregroup of us shared probably 8 items off the menu and somehow left barely a crumb, which should tell you how insane everything is. Not only are their staple menu items good but every single week they seem to come up with some new out of this world item. I love that they partner with other local spots (this week it was Nixta) to create weekly specials. Here is everything we had: -beef birria croissant with consommé (collab w nixta) 7/10 -chocolate tres leches twice baked croissant (collab w nixta) 8/10 -snickers salad croissant (7/10) -strawberry pretzel swirl (quite possibly the underdog - 12/10) -caramel morning bun 9/10 -banana bread coffee cake 11/10 -le bistro sandwich w chicken sausage 10/10 -English muffin sandwhich w pork shoulder bacon 11/10 -s'mores cold brew 9/10 -horchata latte (collab w nixta) 10/10 The staff was all so friendly and truly care that you enjoy your food and drinks. There is tons of patio seating and a few tables inside. I already want to go back and order everything else. Plus more of the same. Everything sells out quick - and for a damn good reason!

Co-located with MN Nice Cream, it took a bit for us to find them, but just enter the shared space building and you'll locate the door! Colorful murals and displays welcome you into this fun, playful space. With plenty of options from sweet to savory, everyone is bound to find a treat they adore. I also love that they aren't afraid to push the boundary with new, innovative flavor combinations. This is not your boring, old ma and pa neighborhood bakery. The staff was lovely during our visit. On this trip, we opted for the Ham and Cheese Croissant, which includes a delicious mustard filling that I hadn't had before! It was stellar! We also shared the Carmel Cashew Blackberry swirl, which was a lovely salty/sweet flavor combo! We will absolutely be returning to check out what they bake up next!

All orders are don'e electronically and then you are sent a text to track it. Food is given to you in a bag, all food is in take out containers. They had a couple tables to sit at. I highly suggest if you order from here, you get it to go or through Uber eats or something. Unfortunately I was visiting and I took an uber there, so I sat and ate there. I love southern cooking, this food was okay, not incredible, My pork chop had a good flavor and the gravy was delicious, but the pork chop itself was very chewy. I could not cut it with the plastic knife I was given. I got collard greens and although it was a different flavor than what I was expecting, they were very good , I would order them again, they had a great flavors. My other side was corn bread. It was ordinary, not great nor bad. Came in a cupcake paper. On a scale from 1-5, I give the pork chop a 3, the collard greens a 5, and the corner bread a 3. No bathrooms, no extra napkins, no water, ...my container leaked gravy all over me when I took it out of the bag. I was a mess and with no rags or napkins. I want to give this place a good rating, I want them to succeed. If you want to try, only get it Togo and preferably idelivered.

F+B, a collaboration between Farmer's Union and Birchwood, has opened near the Guthrie to bring their "Great Minnesota Get Together" favorites to the masses. Their star dish is the Sweet Corn Tomato BLT, which is one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had (pro tip: be sure to add an egg!). They have a ton of other fair favorites too, including a full range of both breakfast and lunch/dinner dishes (although they only serve breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays). You can order from the counter, but the easiest way to get your food is to place an order online for pickup (they will even do curbside pickup). They have a couple outdoor tables, and Gold Medal Park is just steps away (perfect for a picnic!).
